Hello Fire Emblem fans So, introductions? Hmm, yeah I'm terrible at these, so pls forgive me lol Hi, my name's Jay Well, my first ever encounter with the series was with Awakening (yep, newbie) like many other people and funny enough, it happened by accident. So I walk into Gamestop intending to buy or rather, look for one of the older Pokemon games (Platinum) and one of the employees told me that they did not carry ANY of the older Pokemon games..understandable seeing as how popular of a series it is and how the company don't produce any more copies of older games. But being great salesperson GS employees are, the employee sold me on Awakening. Mind you, I have never heard of Fire Emblem prior to this so I was a bit skeptical. But I told him that I did enjoy RPGs and have played FF and Golden Sun, so I decided to purchase because I had an extra $40 to spare, so why not? After playing the game for hours on end, i feel in love with it! Basically loved everything about it! The gameplay aspects of things, the mechanics, the pair-up system, the support convos, the medieval yet modern setting of it all! It's something I have never played before and it just felt so refreshing to me. So that brings us to present time. It's been almost 3 months in after Fates' release and I'm still playing it every chance I get! Now I have never played any of the older games prior to FE13, but I wouldn't oppose to the idea if I were to able to find one on a compatible system I currently own. So that's my little story. I have never been to a strictly FE forum, but I'm starting to really love Fire Emblem and I would like to know the history behind it all and possibly get to know many FE fans in the process :)
