I would prefer a new continent with a proper name. If they should pick a previous world, I would say Magvel since it is underdeveloped compared to the other continents. Fateslandia is underdeveloped as well but I am not interested to see an another game in Fateslandia unlike Magvel. Archanea/Valentia could be nice as well if the story is about the First Exalt but I am more interested in something entirely new.

No there is no support limit unlike the GBA games and PoR so one character can have 2 A supports for example. It is similar to the GBA games because the supports convos happen during the battles. I don't mind that we get more girls since it's Celica's starting group. Compared to some other banners, I actually want to pull all the characters. Everyone has a good art and the new tomes/skills look cool. Poor girl Genny is trying too hard to get older men like Saber's attention by judging her art lol. I cannot believe that I didn't notice this. Now that's funny.

He seems to be a fun guy and addition to the game though he doesn't seem to be used as much a lot in the plot. I am hyped to see a translation of the scene where he From what I remember, the cleric we saved in Gaiden in chapter 3 said that the King of Zofia forced Celica's mom to be his queen so I guess it makes sense that she is the rightful heir of the Zofia's throne since Conrad and Celica don't have the same mom.

Robin and Henry are the only mages of the gauntlet I pulled but I am going to join Team Julia. It was quite a hard choice since I like Linde, Sanaki and Leo a lot too . Julia was very useful with Nosferatu/Resire and of course with the Naga's tome when I played FE4 and I continue playing the Judgral saga with FE5 so I am going to give her a chance. It didn't bomb in Japan since it sold though 80% of its initial shipment. If the avatar and the waifu mechanics return, it will be because of their popularity and not because of SoV.

It was a good idea to change/control the environment. It was also good that it wasn't only limited to the player but to some enemies as well such as Camilla in BR and Hinoka/Takumi in CQ though it is quite ridiculous that they could get infinite Dragon Veins. The others ones were mainly meh especially in Revelation. Without using the First Dragon blood DLC, I don't like how it is only limited to the Royals since it makes them more useful than the other units even though they are already pretty good overall. If it should return, I think that it should work depending of the unit's class instead. For example, fliers could use DVs similar to the DVs in C24 and magic users could use DVs similar to the DVs in B13 and in B23.

I have played and finished all the games except FE1, FE3 and FE5. I have recently finished FE4 a few weeks ago and now I am currently playing FE5 and Heroes.

We didn't really get male characters like that in the past mainly because the previous games weren't written with an Avatar in mind. The closest previous characters we have are villains mainly because of manipulation. Hardin loved Nyna and she didn't love him then he was under the influence of the Darksphere. Valter was obssessed about possessing Eirika but that's because his cursed lance (no pun I swear!) fucked up his mind. Orson became crazy after his wife died and wanted to stay with her reanimated corpse forever. Even though Arvis The fact that we have characters such as Camilla/Tharja and Faye has nothing to do with sexism. Characters who love the MC and to be more precise the self insert/avatar are very popular in Japan. And since most of the people who love them are guys, it's normal that most of these characters are girls. It's not necessary unrequited because Tharja and Camilla can marry Robin/Corrin. All characters who are obsessed towards a characters aren't yanderes but all yanderes are obsessive towards someone. This is why these characters and yanderes are very popular and one of the reasons why both Tharja and Camilla are two of the most popular females in FE. Of course Alm is not a self-insert but he is the closest thing that the game has for one and Faye is pretty much written like these characters even though she is not threatening/violent. It doesn't excuse her not having much things to do besides thinking about Alm all the time though. I know that Heroes might not be canon but if you look at how these 3 characters act towards Kiran/the player, you can have an idea about what IS was trying to do with them. Camilla pretty acts like how she does with Corrin with the player, Tharja isn't threatening to the player, she even tries to act normal like she did with Robin and she says that the player is as precious to her as Robin. Faye seems to get over Alm and she starts to take an interest in the player even though she doesn't seem to do it during the main game of SoV. IS clearly uses these characters for the player pandering and worshipping. Of course there are other characters who like you in Heroes however it doesn't take that far. Clair for example, still tells you that she is interested in Alm Poor Gray and not in you because she's not written to only worship you and does other things in SoV and in the plot because of Gray, Clive, Mathilda and Fernand. Also compared to the other new exclusive characters in SoV, Faye is the only one who doesn't seem to add something in the story and the worldbuilding. The closest allied male character who is quite similar to them is Jakob. Jakob only cares about Corrin and to serve them. He is also rude towards anyone who wants to take care of Corrin instead of him such as Camilla and his own son Dwyer in their supports (he even seems to be violent towards Dwyer because of that). That behaviour quite helped his popularity. If you look at some fanarts with the Royal brothers in Fates, you can see that the fangirls seem to treat them similarly. The males only care about female Corrin (who represents the player and here the fangirls), want to possess her and often quarrel between each other because of her. We can see that female Corrin is treated like that in official sources such as the 4koma book. Leo's fangirls were even pissed when the Making of FE book was released because it was mentioned that Leo has "feelings that extend beyond familiar" for Camilla. Honestly I don't think that IS is going to stop to create characters such as Camilla/Tharja and Faye especially to how popular Tharja and Camilla are. Though I guess we need to wait SoV's popularity poll to see Faye's rank but imo she would probably be well ranked and I guess that the FE Switch would have a similar character following the same trope. I could be wrong but didn't Camilla's retainers say to Corrin in C10 that they stuck to the shadows hovering, caring and watching him? I mean the dialogue just seems like a big joke but to me, it is quite similar to staking or just love! Actually the main reason is because the avatar did things to her and promised that "she's the only one" in a dream. There is a dialogue in the japanese website that explains that and there are a few hints about it in the english version in the game. She says that she has devised a hex to make drams come true when she is talking when she is with someone in the event tiles and when the avatar asks her what is her dream, she's getting embarassed like when she's involved with things related to sex in her dialogues with Cordelia and Nowi in the DLC. Also since she seems to like how nice the Avatar is, it probably has nothing to with the Avatar Here is a video which translates that special dialogue:

Dew is not a good fighter. However, his main purpose is to steal money from the enemies and to give money to some of the units in your army. He's also useful for chapter 4 since he is the only character who can drop the bridge. In my opinion he is a good father for Patty since he gives her Sol (and the Bargain skill). If Dew gets the wind sword in chapter 3, it will help Patty as well. Unlike him, Patty can be useful for battles.

Gray : Mercenary Kliff : Mage Tobin : Archer Atlas : Mercenary They are the same classes I used for them in Gaiden and it seems that they are still the best classes for them. At first I planned to promote Atlas into a Cavalier since Celica's route didn't have one but now thanks to Conrad, I will once again promote him into a Mercenary. I also think that the mercenary class fits him well design wise. For Faye I am hesitating between Pegasus Knight and Cleric. Pegasus Knight has much better movement, Falko Knight is strong against the monsters and Clair is the only canon one in Alm's route. The main problem is that we mainly meet monsters in the dungeons in Alm's route so I am not sure if that's quite useful to promote her into one. Also it seems that now we need to use their weapon skills to defeat more easily the monsters. Until Tatiana and without counting the mages' promotions Silk is our only cleric and healer in the Alm's route so Cleric Faye would be useful. Since healing now gives exp unlike Gaiden, it would probably help Silk and Faye to level up and promote quite faster. Silk can't have the Physic spell so Faye would be quite useful in the early game. Since Atlas would be a mercenary, Faye is the only rescue spell user and also the only Again spell user. Even if these spells might spend a lot of HPs, at this point of the game, it shouldn't be a problem thanks to the other Saints, Sages and Delthea being able to heal. Not sure if I would abuse Again as much as the Dance action in the other games though.

Like most people, a lot of yanderes can depress as well because of the actions of the character they love. Kotonoha and Sekai are some of the most known yanderes and they depress as well depending of the MC's actions in the VN/Anime and the manga. Camilla being depressed don't invalidate her being a yandere. I am not sure you know what a yandere means. Since when a yandere is limited to characters who don't have a reason for loving someone? Like the other characters, Yanderes can a reason or any reason to love a character. Yuno Gasai was treated like garbage by her parents during her childhood like Camilla and loves the MC because he was nice to her and comfort her when she was sad. You might find the reason stupid or whatever, but it is not out of nowhere and she has a reason to love him. And don't tell me Yuno is not a yandere. Yuno is easily the most known of them. Also Rhajat is a Tharja clone and she loves Corrin because Corrin saved her life twice (once when she was a kid and the second time when you recruit her). She has an actual reason to love Corrin. She's obviously a yandere since she is pretty much Tharja and acts like her. To me it feels like you don't have a problem with yanderes in general (especially that you don't seem to have a problem with Camilla's creepy behaviour) but more like you don't like characters who love certain people for no reason. If you still think that she is not one because she has an actual reason to love Corrin (even if, like I already said, yanderes can love someone for an actual reason), then let's just agree to disagree on this then. But yeah thank god, they are less worse than some others or else we woudn't have anyone anymore in the armies. Pretty much this. I don't see why it should be a requirement at all.

She only mentions this on Revelation. On Birthright, she fails to kill Corrin and tthe Hoshidans twice, she is totally fine and Garon never threatens to execute her or the other siblings at all. The only Nohrian he threatens to execute in that route is just Iago. Here are some lines she said on Birthright that a typical yandere character would say: Also Xander and Leo didn't say crazy and creepy things unlike her when they tried to kill Corrin and the Hoshidans. The main problem I have is that you said that Tharja is a yandere unlike Camilla. That line is quite confusing to me because like I showed you, Camilla is a yandere as well and most people see her as one. That's one of the main reasons why some fans who like Tharja also like Camilla. That's because they belong to the same character trope. Her having a reason to love Corrin doesn't change the fact she's a yandere. If you like Camilla because she has a reason to love Corrin just say that but don't say that she is not a yandere. You said that Robin is creeped out by Tharja and it seems to be one of the reasons you don't like her even though that the whole support can be seen as a big joke as well since Robin seems to be more confortable with her at the end and doesn't even mind anymore to be stalked by her in the S support. I said that Camilla was joking but Severa is also creeped out by her. Corrin also felt awkward in his supports with Camilla and she acts creepy in general just like Tharja. I am not defending Tharja but I just don't see the differences between these 2 characters' actions here and why you don't seem to treat Camilla as a creepy character unlike Tharja. The problem is that you're comparing fan translated SoV Faye's supports lines to localized english Tharja and Robin's supports, even though we don't have the english version of SoV yet. You talked about Faye in Heroes at first then you decided to talk about her in SoV.

Indeed I can see people loving her because she's supposed to be hot and because of her big boobs. Not sure about Xander since he's the former Queen's son and probably wasn't involved with the Concubine wars but yeah Leo and Elise share the same backstory and they are fine. I like Faye's design a lot but of course I wouldn't consider her (or any other cute/beautiful character) a good or well written character based only on their designs and not about their personalities and how well executed they are in the story or with other characters. I can understand why you don't like Tharja for being a yandere and why you don't see Faye as a yandere but why don't you seem to see Camilla as one since she has yandere traits? Camilla tries to kill Corrin and the Hoshidan royal family because Corrin "left" her and the Hoshidans "stole" Corrin from her. Killing the person they love after being "rejected" or the person leaving them and killing people seen as "obstacles" between this person and them are usual things that yanderes do. She also jokes about cutting Severa's legs so like that she can't leave her. In the japanese version, she also threaten to kill Corrin after being married to him if she leaves him ans she stalks him if she is not married in the ending. Even though Camilla might have better reasons to love Corrin than Tharja loving Robin, she's still a yandere.

Conquest's story truly is the Fire Emblem's version of the Godwin's law. But yeah pretty much this as well. Like I said before, it's pretty much how Camilla is defended as well all the time and how she has a ton of theories/headcanons. People tend to use the whole "Concubine wars" to justify her behaviours even though we don't know a lot of things about it. Sometimes they even make up stuffs that weren't in the game. Once I even read that Camilla probably had lost one of her eyes, killed her own mom and some of her half-siblings.

I can see why Faye could represent stagnation especially that Alm and Celica are often compared to Rigel/Zofia and Duma/Mila. An another point that could be added, is that her wanting Alm is a bit similar to how the King of Zofia wanted Celica's mom and her not liking him. Though at least she didn't force him to marry her. However, the main problem I have with her is that, compared to all the other new characters (Conrad, Berkut, Fernand and Rinea) she doesn't do much in the story. An another problem is that the game never really talks about that flaw at all. Because of this, I am not sure if that's what IS wanted to do with her and it could be just seen as an another theory/headcanon just like how Camilla has a ton of them. The closest thing we got is her third base convo where her family asked her to talk more about herself than Alm since she mainly sent letters where she talked about Alm's actions. She seemed to find that tough coming from them but sadly she doesn't seem to care that much then she said that she just wants to talk about him and the convo ends. Seriously Alm should have just tell her to care more for herself than him. That's a shame because I found the last convo nice and interesting. I must admit that now I want to see her dialogue when she's recruited by Celica. For her ending, let's just say that the new harem master Kiran would take good care of her . At least she gains bonus points since she she has a very good design compared to Tharja and Camilla imo and she doesn't threaten Alm or anyone unlike them.

SoV is confirmed to have story DLCs which will explain what happens prior to the game's events so I guess this game would probably get story DLCs as well. I guess it will be a recurring thing from now on. As long as it is well executed, I don't mind it but I prefer to have the complete story in the game without a part of it being locked because of DLC. It seems that SoV will get a Cipher DLC as well. If we get this DLC in the west, unlike the Hoshidan/Nohrian festival, and if that's well received I guess that we could get an another cipher DLC for FE Switch too.

Yeah he wrote in one of the videos' description that he didn't recruit him because he forgot to go to the mountain village.

When Garon ordered Xander to kill Corrin in C7, Xander said that he would want Garon to kill him rather than Corrin, then Garon told him that he would never harm his children. This dialogue is kinda weird because it makes me wonder why the siblings think that they are going to get executed if they are doing failures. In BR, the nohrian siblings failed to kill Corrin all the time and Garon never threatened them though he threatens to kill Iago if he failed to kill Corrin in Krakenburg. Even in RV, Xander failed to kill Corrin and Ryoma and Garon didn't execute him (though it might be because he is the first prince). Except if Garon told them offscreen or if that's just poor writing, I don't really see him killing them since he saw them as pawns so he rather would want to keep them alive than dead. I don't particulary see the nohrian siblings being loyal to him because of abuse. Sure they are scared of him and he doesn't show any love to the siblings but that's not the main reason. Like you said, it is more likey that they are loyal to him because he is their only parent and Leo and Camilla say at the end of Conquest that even though he is a slime monster, he is still their father. They even cry at the end of Revelation when it's Anankos' dinner time, so it implies that they still love him (though to be fair they don't even know that he is a slime monster in that route!) They know that he is a jerk but they don't care because he is their dad. That's kinda sad if you think about it.
