  1. This is just a crazy idea I came up with but by today's standards Gaiden is a pretty short game, it can be completed in about 20 hours (if you're playing on Easy Mode) and there's not much customization besides the villagers so there's not much of a reason to replay it besides to replay it again for the sake of it. As this game is a sidequest to Marth's story why not make a bundle with FE1, 2, and 3 on the same cart to completely experience the story of the King of Tippers? It would also mean that FE 2 and 3 would get localized if this were real. Besides, this game is too short to warrant it's own release. What do you guys think of this idea? As for the gameplay, keep infinite use weapons, 5 range archers, don't let me select "Move" on the world map every time I want to move (make it like the Sacred Stones where you select the location you want to go) and when visiting villages treat it like it's My Castle although they got to put more into the villages. I'm not sure what they could do in terms of customization except allow reclassing for every character at a certain level, say Lv. 10 regardless of tier with the use of a Second Seal or through a Shrine. And no avatars or marriage, Gaiden doesn't need it.
  2. Maybe I should watch an LP myself to see whats going on first. For someone who hasn't delved into the horror genre at all, I don't think I'm ready for Corpse Party. I'd rather keep my sanity and get a full night's sleep, haha. Thanks for the replies.
  3. The game releases on the 25th and I want to get into the Halloween spirit and to see if I actually can get scared this time. I've seen horror movies like Nightmare on Elm Street, Halloween, and Final Destination ( if that counts) but none of them actually scared me but rather intrigued me to see how the characters survive of if they'll survive. I guess I don't understand the feeling of horror or something? I don't know. The only horror game I played was Five Nights at Freddy's number 1 and I must say the atmosphere was pretty stifling. I was tense when the animatronics were close by and made me jump a little when they were right in front of the opened doorway. Still when they got me I didn't freak out like the youtubers do but to happen to me for the first time I was more like, "Whoa! Chika got me!" instead of screaming my head off in fear. And yes, I did play at night with the lights off with my headphones on. So, my question is, would Corpse Party actually scare me under the right circumstances? If I were to go into this game blind do you think I would actually be scared for once?
  4. Oh, no, I haven't played Ys I yet, I've only played Ys Seven and I just made it to the forth altar (the wind tower or whatever it was called). My dad, brothers and I go to various pawn shops once every two months to see what kind of video game stuff we can find whether it be rare games or old games. I actually found The Legend of Heroes: A Tear of Vermillion ( the second game of the Bandai localization trilogy) at a pawn shop so even still the chances are low that I'd find Prophecy of the Moonlight Witch or Song of the Ocean as well as the Ys games but the chance is still there. I might as well get The Oath in Felghana on steam because of how cheap it is compared to everywhere else and I think it's impossible to find such a good game at a pawn shop, you know?
  5. Oh, okay. I'll keep that in mind. I always try to get the physical version of games but considering how The Oat in Felghana is only 15 bucks on steam, thats tempting. Although, I don't have much of a choice with Ys Origin, haha. What game is Vamillion in?
  6. I bought Ys Seven awhile back to see what an Ys game was about and as soon as I fought the first boss this game has me sold. Not only did the music blow my mind but the fight itself actually felt like I was fighting a big monster and its just not for looks like a lot of others game do, particularly RPGs. If I find Ys I & II Chronicles and The Oath in Felghana I'll definitely pick them up and maybe Ys Origins on Steam.
  7. 27, 167 Heh, I remember when we were counting below 10,000. That was a few years ago though.
  8. We need a Towa and Sara Valestein badge guys. You could go with Olivier from FC if you want. Or, realistically speaking, you could scan the picture from the lionheart edition's artbook with all the members of Class VII as your new avi. Or just find it on the internet. Saves you the trouble of picking just one!
  9. I bought Trails of Cold Steel II at launch (which was three weeks ago) but haven't opened it because I need to finish the first one before starting the second one. But I intend to free it from the shrink wrap in a month or so so it still technically counts. Sometimes I download demos but never get to them for some reason.
  10. Whoa, its not every day you get to talk to a voice actor, especially from my favorite video game series! Hi Marcella! Its a pleasure to meet you! I'm not really sure what to say here so sorry if this comes out as a little rude, but I have enjoyed hearing your voice work in FE Fates. Although I hadn't played as female Corrin in Fates I always play as her in Smash Bros. over the male Corrin but in Fates I play as the male Corrin so its a nice little trade off. As for Scarlet, I really enjoyed her character, we don't get a rebellious character (or something like the Dawn Brigade from FE Radiant Dawn for the Wii) in FE very often so I liked her immediately! I haven't seen her confession but it would've been nice to have more support conversations with her and other characters to possibly discuss more about her and the rebellion that she lead. I do have a few questions though. Just how early do you come in for the recording sessions? I'm curious because if you watch the announcement trailer for FE Fates the characters have voice acting so it would mean that you know that the game is being developed before the official announcement. So, how do you know that the game is being developed and how early do you come in for the voice recordings? Oh, and one more thing, how early did you know that Corrin was going to be in Smash Bros? Sorry if this is took too long to read, I tend to talk a lot when I get excited. Well, anyway, thanks for taking the time to read this and joining our forums to speak with us! We all appreciate it and would love for you to stay and get to know us more! That is if you can, feel free to stop by anytime!
  11. I'm not sure if this counts as RNG but in FE6, probably 4 years ago or something, I had Oujay visit the arena on Ch. 11A and he was Lv.19 with 86 exp points and he had 16 Spd and 38 Hp as a Merc, okay? So, this would be his last battle in the arena if he wins. So he goes in and his opponent is a mage using Fire and now the battle begins. He attacks and hits with a 70%, that's cool and all, but now the mage attacks (has an 81%) and does 23 damage and then my heart stop right afterwards... the mage DOUBLED him AND killed him at the first round! I was just so baffled as to what just happened that I stared at the screen in awe for 20 minutes. I can't exactly prove this but I've got the battle recorded on my 3DS but it doesn't show me entering the arena though. But that's by far the most unluckiest experience I had ever had in FE right there and I'll never forget it.
