  1. Great work on the updates, I'll download and install them soon, I'm currently up to chapter 7. Taking the game slowly so I can really savor it! Also, thank you for adding in the recruitment guide to the OP. Could I get a list of which skills each playable unit learns and on what levels through their promotions as well? Cause I save stated and promoted both Neried (lvl 11) and Evan (lvl 10) and they didn't show that they could learn any new skills in the personal data page. Finally, am I right in thinking that in this game you're meant to promote early? (10-12) Or should I wait for at least a few more levels due to reduced exp gain? (15-16)
  2. I didn't want to cause a fight, I simply was requesting the document that @Blademaster! stated would be posted in the OP. I do not do social media or group chats outside of FB to simply have it as a source of party invites for my IRL friends, so joining Discord is not particularly an option for me considering my stance.
  3. Loving the game so far but I have to ask where your recruitment guide has gone? It was supposedly in the OP but it no longer is there from what I have been able to see. Could I get that posted please? 🙂 Great work, especially love the inclusion of the Capture Mechanic!

I found a bug in the version 2.6 build: Tana went to level 20 gained her skill that allows for more damage dealt less received then the next turn also gained Bond giving her 5 skills before promotion! I was on Chapter 12 and I'm wondering if it was an early drop from her Falconknight class by accident so I checked the learnlist you put up and you forgot to put up Pegasus knights/falconknights there.

  6. I've been loving play this so much but I just got to class upgrading Lute and now fear of missing out has me stuck! Do you have a list of all the skills the various classes learn upon leveling up? Cause now I'm stuck choosing between Sage and Mageknight because skills can sometimes make or break a character depending on your playstyle! This won't just be a Lute problem but a thing for the whole team, on this and my second run through because I'm enjoying it so much I plan on replaying it again straight after to go through Ephraims route with other team members! Please help? Seriously though, I am adoring this mod wholeheartedly!

  8. Have you had a chance to play with Elincia's FE8 patch on this forum? It is also I guess what you'd call an "inflation" patch that makes the game harder, changed some growths and added in some new weapons such as a series of weapons that had buffs against "monsters" but were weaker than regular weapons with a slight critical boost. You should have a look at that for some ideas! Though the difficulty on that game got too hard though, I played it on Hard Mode, Ephraim route but it got too difficult, if you take cues from that one and don't go too over board I believe you should end up with an amazing hack! On topic though, I hope you might change the text for Seth and maybe make him the knight in charge of Eirika's protection as opposed to Knight Captain because as a Cavalier it seems weird with him being a "Captain". Or maybe give him a locked weapon called, "Knights Sword" that helps show that he is the Captain? Just food for thought!
  9. I've been reading over this thread and this looks like a great re-tooling of FE6 and would love to give it a run through, Although I just noticed the little bugs pointed out a few posts above and I shall wait for the next patch. Not to be rude but how long of a wait do you think that shall be?

  11. I have beaten this chapter, as well as L'arachel's recruitment chapter, which is HARDER. Oh and pretty much the entire game as well *is on the last couple of chapters* You just have to learn to play better. >_> And the Myr's do have a downside, Low health I love spotting them on chapters cause they wield such high experience. The Beacon bow is practically only good on the Monsters, Neimi doesn't have enough strength to truly damage alot of units with it. Gilliam is doing well on my route, he has boots, good supports and decent weapons, Nice team member. Elincia, Anyways I do agree that the enemy units need to be toned down a touch, but not too much this -IS- supposed to be alot more difficult than vanilla SS, if it is too hard for some people, maybe they need to play normal mode.

  13. My main team's are: Wesker, X-23 and Storm. Captain America, Trish and Super Skrull. Magneto, Pheonix and Spencer. I can use -ALL- the characters though, but I fucken hate M.O.D.O.K, I always have!
  14. I voted no, easily because you want to do something new right? You want a bit of a challenge and have something original that people would want to play as: This is it. Not a FE7 hack >_> And there is quite a few FE8 event stuff out there, sorta... Why don't you talk to a couple of the people out there that are hacking FE8 or have and see if you can get there notes! I quite like the idea of a FE8 hack with no beasts, it'd be interesting you could expand the stort quite a bit, plus I'm sure you'll figure out mapping/events! BTW yeah Mouthe Doug's could be removed me thinks, just make it enemy armies *nods* they'd look wierd on their own! Plus with no beast allows for alot of custom class space, something that is not there in FE7
