  1. Thanks for the help. So far her results on my galeforce team are mixed. I needed her to one-shot b!Seliph, which was probably statistically impossible with his miracle effect, but what really surprised me is that he would OHKO her on retaliation. Anyway, I'll see how she does.
  2. If I read her text right, Nerþuz needs to start the turn away from non-beasts/dragons to transform and get her Impact effect. Either that or trade Fruit of Life for Fomortiis or Embla's B skill. Given the cramped space of AR that has been discussed, she's probably not going to have the benefit of the Impact effect on most of her attack runs. Do you think that's going to hamper her effectiveness? Or do you think Beast Follow-Up would have better results than Fruit of Life? (I see now that inheriting Embla's wouldn't be ideal, since Nerþuz already has NFU in her weapon). Thanks for any insight.

You all have been quite helpful the few times I've shown up on this forum, and so if anyone else uses the Duel Simulator I want to help you out. https://arcticsilverfox.com/feh_sim/ On the right side, where it says Enemies, click 'import' and copy and paste this list I made https://docs.google.com/.../1TvZU.../edit... And away you go! The simulator doesn't auto-generate most of the 2nd column, so make sure you're going in and adding if your enemy has dragonflowers, mythic support etc to make it accurate. And do the same thing for the first column, skills like Chills or Atk/Spd Solo are off by default. It's up to date as of the spring Myrrh banner. I took the top two tiers of Gamepress' best ranked units, 221 in total. They rate units based on Aether Raids, so there might be a few good arena units that didn't make it in, but overall I'd say they're quite similar. I used the starred build(s) that GP recommends. I made modifications here and there, if they hadn't updated it with atk spd solo 4, for example, or bc they lacked the hyper speedy Bike build that I use to win AR. All units are +10. GP hasn't updated their rankings for this banner, but I assume that spring Myrrh and Severa will get in. If Inigo manages to get ranked in the top two tiers as well, I'll add him later. I really missed the boat on the Save skills and will have to wait until non-seasonal units have them.
  4. Hey all, I did a search to see if this has been discussed but didn't find anything, apologies anyway if it has. Has anyone made a 7th slot dance trap for Anima AR-D? I've got the first part, setting up my 7th unit next to a dancer. But I want to get that unit to start a rally trap and they won't do it - does the enemy have to be in range? Or if someone has figured out a setup where the 7th unit gets danced and starts destroying stuff, I'd love to hear it (though this seems more doubtful since in a week or two everyone's going to understand what the chains mean and the Danger Area still shows the 7th unit's normal range). Thanks for any ideas in advance! I'm going to hunker down and reread 'Mia's AI Manipulation' in the meantime and see if I can figure something out. Context: (though this guy goes way overboard and if I had Return or w!Bernie I would just make a rally trap and be done with it)
  5. To be fair, of course it's easier to do arena when you have a dancer. But for many that's not an option, either they missed out on L.Azura like me, or their Peony isn't maxed (I've been throwing orbs down every time she pops up but still only have +4). I sympathize with @Anacybele bc even though L!Edelgard is a meta-changing unit, her C skill, just like Armor March, don't give as many points as a tier 4 skill. To max your score, mobility becomes a huge issue. So either you 1) make a full armor team which can kinda work but you're still sacrificing points from whichever unit(s) have Armor March and it gets awkward as soon as you have to break them up or 2) use a flier unit with a Guidance seal, and I've seen few flier units hold their weight in an arena team; even Aversa is better off in AR. So hats off if you can score highly enough with a dancer but many of us can't. Even when I tried to keep t21 with Nils I couldn't score highly enough and had to give him a tier 3 B skill in the end and use him like any other dragon. But score is why I'm actually here, so I have to say a huge thank you to @Vicious Sal for the thresholds tip!! I requested to join their t21-arena channel, is that where these docs live?   7. Thanks guys! @LordFrigid I have to play around with the formula more to make sense of it but this is definitely my best lead by far. And thank you @Humanoid in my head I was thinking unit score even as I was typing arena/team score, so that makes more sense. I don't know if anyone who's in t27 AR wants to weigh in, but I'm guessing the vast majority of it is whale territory now. And I'm guessing within 6 months t21 arena is going to be the same. I don't see it getting better until they release more 3-4* armors. I guess I'll start slowly building up Valbar and hope something changes, my grails are already locked up in 3 different projects.   8. Hey all, I'm just going to slide into this discussion and ask: has anyone found a way to accurately calculate the arena score of teams including a pair up Legendary and/or Duo Hero? They have boosted BSTs, 175-185. The calculator at arcticsilverfox (ex. http://tinyurl.com/teazk6d) has been my bread and butter, and it does let you manually alter a BST, but it doesn't affect the final arena score even when it should. And there's this older equation (https://www.reddit.com/r/FireEmblemHeroes/comments/6dun7r/arena_score_calculations/) but it doesn't seem accurate that a 10 BST boost would only equal 1 more point in your arena score. Has anybody found another way? I'm happy where I'm at oscillating between t20-21 (one more congratulations @Othin! it took me a long time to get to t21 and it's a great feeling) but with my OG units I know it's only a matter of months before they don't score high enough to stay where I'm at. Therefore I'm looking into what current gen Legendaries and/or Duo Heroes I can invest into most accessibly to stay where I'm at. And until I can accurately see what they will score, it's hard to do so. This community seems to be noticeably more upbeat (gamefaqs is a bear pit) and I hope to stay awhile. Thanks in advance for any help!

  10. Hey everybody, this is my first post so I hope it's in the right place; I couldn't find an answer after doing a quick search of previous topics. My question is: How much does a 1 BST difference make in top-tier arena? I just pulled my third Hardin; I have a 19.5 arena team and know that Hardin could help me stay in tier 20 for the first time. My current Hardin is +atk/-hp, the latter being a superbane that knocks him down to 174 BST. The one I just pulled is neutral, a 175 BST which puts him in a higher scoring range (175-179). This should all be straightforward to keep the neutral IV, but when I calculate his arena score, it doesn't change depending on the two IV's, at his current merge level and also at +10. I'm using www.arcticsilverfox.com/score_calc/ What gives? It seems like the 1 bst point matters, especially in this case since it moves him up to a higher score threshold. But I don't see the impact in this score calculator. Is it just that the scoring calculator is imprecise because no one has 100% figured out IS' arena scoring method? Since I've read more than once that a superbane affects arena scoring, and in this case it's the difference between two scoring ranges, I'll probably keep the neutral. But I'm reluctant to give up my +atk so I just wanted to be sure first. Then, hypothetically, what if Hardin's base BST had been 173? Would a BST of 172 from a superbane actually affect his arena score? Thanks!
  11. THANK YOU! Wings of Mercy looks to be as equally broken as Warp in FE Fates, so at least now I know which 3 characters to bulk up so that I'm ready for when this tactic inevitably dominates the Arena.
