  1. I am still wanting to do this, even if it has been a year. Nobody responded after a point, so I didn't think this garnered enough interest. Among things, specifying numbers would be nice. Something like increase their level to X and bump stats I can do by multiplying their growths by gained levels, then rounding. Just increase their base/growth with no number context is just vague.
  2. Pirates use Ocean Seals. IDK what's up if she's a fighter.
  3. Aww... ok. Not the best at noticing post dates. So I totally missed that my post happened about a year after the last XD
  4. Sorry about the double post. Didn't read the note about Ephraim route not being done, so i did that because my Erika was still terrible, but what you got is good. In Flourspur's Oath though, the clusterfuck of enemies around Selena was a little clunky. Especially because the 'Leaders' didn't move. Tethys' survival was also difficult, as wyvern from the left and swarm/purge users on the right, alongside fragile defenses, dodge, and HP, means she just needs to be carried. Other than that, this has very balenced weapons. When shops sell new stuff it is a boost to your firepower to keep up with enemies getting similar buffs. Getting infinte killer bows with Neimi though is broken af, but it's fine.
  5. Rememembered something that was wrong, finally remembered. Tethys as a dancer has 5% skill and 5% strength growths. As a manakete, with a 1 base, Strength, she's kinda trash. Myrrh on the other hand has an outrageous strength and skill growth (not to mention everything else) but can't use it, due to being a dancer. IDK if you did this to make dancers better, and minimize the usage of manaketes, But it's just unbalenced.
  6. Mmm, yes. Just thought to mention they were quite similar. Seth's archtype is Oifey, named after the character in FE4 with the same name. I'm just here to throw mentions of things I see. In the intro cutscene, Franz appears to be replaced with an unamed pirate. He speaks like normal, but his map sprite is wrong.
  7. Might want to alter Seth's or Gilliam growths. Gilliam has -5 strength, -10 skill, -15 speed, +5 luck, +15 defense, and -10 resistance compared to Seth. Seth has better growths almost all across the board, starts with decent stats, and supports a main lord. Seth can still be usable, but differ the two. Gilliam does get hero or warrior, but Seth just outshines him. Make them Cain Abel archtype in growths (one favors speed, skill, luck (probably seth) the other favoring HP, Strength and Defense (that also seems to suit Gilliam). Kyle is a Cain-Abel with Forde, so despite being the same class, isn't too good for being the other half for gilliam. Your choice to head that. Will post a few notes here and there on units growths, now that I am doing Erika's route. Edit: or change Seth's class. He just needs 1 new pallete, little easier than Gilliam's 3.
  8. -Forde's preformance is lackluster at best. -Luce has crit. Finally bosses are skill based not luck. The reset because he crit Ephraim was not fun. -Erika comes off at a major disadvantage compared to Ephraim. He can wield iron axes before promotion with no AS penalties. Erika has a -3 AS with Iron at base. -Theif!Ross doesn't seem worth it. There is a minimal amount of chests and most of their items are meh. Perhaps fix this and above by putting stealables, like a body ring or two in before the split? -Summons, but I've mentioned it -Female Pirate Ranged Attack, but I've mentioned it. -Shops, but I mentioned it. -Who has what summons? In base, I can look up how Ewan, Knoll, and Lyon's Summons compare, here I don't know who has what, or how they are modified. -Endgame equipment seemed strange. Lots of them had high tier stuff, then this one guy has a poisen sword. Seems strange. -In the final chapter, part 1 (Lyon as boss) Orson has an item I don't quite understand. The Gold Gem, cept it has Filla's Might for a icon, and I think that gave him stats. More curious if the only way to get it is stealing it from him. And why it's description says it's worth 20k. These are made based of the previous patch, where Erika' route wasn't done. Sorry if you fixed these and I could get the new patch and fix these. Speaking of Erika's route being done, what about Super Traines?
  9. Considering you have everything but a few minor cleanup details and portraits done, you aren't a generic soldier asking for literally any other unit to do your job. You qualify as a... IDK, Halberdier asking for assistance from the lowly fighters and mercs that surround you. Bad analogy, don't care.
  10. Last thing before I Montage the end of Ephraim, then restart on Erika's: Summons. Shouldn't they use swords? I don't know if they can even be changed, but they are still the generic summons. The skeletons? Iron, Killer, and Runesword to replace iron, killer and tomahawk respectively?
  11. Are shops updated with more suited equipment? Lutes tomes cost over 1,000 till the first shop after Ewan, where normally is the earliest you get Shamans. That and I remember Ewan->Monk having no promo gains. Probably a bunch of other minor things I'll remember, now that this is active once more.
  12. Did you update pirate!Amelia to not softlock the game with animations on when using a ranged axe?
  13. Seems interesting... Simply awaiting release.
  14. Curious, what's up with Erika's support with Franz being removed? Opened it up in Nightmare, and see an... interesting change to it I wont spoil unless someone else goes and finds it in Nightmare. Is that intentional? I intended to get up to B with FranzXErika cause I'd end up using the two units, but that doesn't see to be possible now. Are there any other changed supports for units? I'm not in the mood to hunt them down with Nightmare. Great hack other than that. Only at Chapter 4, and only now bothered to see if something was up with Supports when Neimi and Colm got B before Franz and Erika got C. Edit: Mission 3, I usually train up Ross to level 10, and get this done long before the boss, due to bandits being near walls, and having only Iron Axes. Now with them all having Hatchets (Or most of them atleast) this is no longer possible. Found this annoying, because this just ment I ended up spending ~20 minutes having Ross throw Hatchets at the boss, then be Rescue/Drop chained away. Changing his bases so he's not doubled to start would help, but he gets the extra promotion, and 9 levels, so that's not really a doable change without making him way too OP.
  15. I generally have 3~4 hours to kill a day, so I figured I'd spend it with a Pick My Edits. I plan for this to be on Hector Hard Mode, so Karla and Farina are OK to edit. Enemy growths are going to increase 20%, as a counter to all the player foucsed buffs that seem to be poring in. I'd like to see at least one change for every character, but I'm not quite sure how many people will see this. I do want a somewhat balanced playthrough, so throwing in a provision I can not accept a change. Be suspific, as to just increase or decrease something isn't clear enough on what you mean. List of changes I've accepted
  16. Do you want one before beating the final chapter, but it's unlocked, or one where you can go to extras, and just go to the map cause Formittis is dead?
  17. Unsure if this was brought up somewhere else here, but is there plans for a way to randomize everyone? I'm meaning for a way to randomize random enemies, the generics that are neither bosses, named npcs, or playable units. Probably adding a cap to healers per mission would be smart, so chapters aren't just healers, trivializing the chapter. Or making it too brutal, with them all having Beserker Staves. Going through all the pages is something I lacked the time for, so if this was brought up and dealt with, sorry for bringing it up again.
  18. Your lords are very similar to FE8s, sword wielding female who's nice, and a dude who's rough on the edges. Your Tactician idea is neat, but what do they do? Are they a FE7 Tactiction, an FE12, or an FE13) (FE7 - Plot important, not deployable) (FE12 - Little plot importance, deployable) (FE13 - Plot important, deployable, Game over on death) Is the Tactician customizable? How much do you want it customizable? Do they have a personality, or is it bland, like FE13 and FE14 avatars are, so everyone can be a self insert? Isacc doesn't stand out. He's just 'A rider'. Obviously he has a horse, but what's his story? Personality? Olaf and T.K. are literally Garcia and Ross. Make Olaf a Hero (Class), retired war veteran, who's trying to teach his kid to use a sword for self defense, but he's just not cut for it, so he's a mage. There, you've not only deviated from FE8, but you got a Mage, and you can build a relationship around that. Duran, like Isacc, is just there. Personality? What do they do? Do they exist to exist, like Marisa in FE8? Or do they have importance? Is it for one chapter, or quite a few? Iskander is finnaly a unique character, that works. Probably adding to his personality is really what you need. Skye reeks of Syrene. If she's the early game Pegasus, she's not a leader. She should be a recruit that's spared off an army or something similar. Your plot is bland of course. And just FE8s, slightly changed. What if it's a peaceful nation, but a small, oft forgotten nation suddenly attacks a nearby nation, which is overthrown quickly. A third falls, and then the Prince runs off to kill things to stop the fighting, so there kingdom doesn't fall. Later, a stranger, you can make a name, takes the princess out of the castle. She knows she's being taken, but drugged, so no choice. Outside, she watches the castle fall to an attack. Whoever this is, works with her through the game to win or something. You could take a card from FE8, and just go to another Kingdom to get a couple guys. The stranger is a theif, and you do 1 chapter just female lord and theif. Then you get a Jagen, who sits in the background, probably ingrain in his personality that he's old, and doesn't speak really, so he can fade away easy. Then the Princess has to go about to the kingdoms, gather allies, find her brother, who's probably a level 14-17 lord when you get him, and then he's relevent, and they work together to just beat up the kingdom attacking. FE games use dragons way too much. They can be enemies, just no the final boss of the game. Before you say that, look at the FE games out, and see *all of them* have dragons as the final boss. Medusa, Grima, Anankos, Fire Dragon, Formortis, Iduen... Overall, your idea is there, just nothing else to do things. Not going to throw down the 'I'll help' card, but there's a start you should look at. Reject my idea, change it, I don't care. You can roll with it. I don't plan to use the stuff I came up with in 5 minutes as a plot for a hack myself. Your main thing to work on - Detail. You only put the bare minimum. Make characters first. Decide who knows who. How? What's each characters past, personality, abilities, class, and relationship status. Then move to the story, and implement your characters wherever. Your bosses are throwaway characters you need for a mission, 3 tops really, aside from a few, who are mentioned all over. You'll probably decide what sides to put characters, and where as you make them, so work with that as well. Probably speaking out of my *** here, but oh well, just my thoughts. Good Luck. -A Magic 8 Ball.
  19. Just remembered you have nothing do to with the Supa Trainees. (These notes apply to Trainee 3. Trainee 2 is just Trainee 1 (What you get them as) with 20 more levels). Ross would get 15 Crit, and more Defenses, but less skill and speed than Swordmaster, and maybe Stealing + Lockpicks? IDK. The other promotion for Trainee 2 would be Swordmaster, because that's totally what suits him. Amelia could be also be a more Defensively orientated Beserker as Trainee 3, with Zerker as the other promotion. Ewan is kinda stuck doing what he did in normal FE, getting all magic. Druid would be his 3rd teir now. Or what I'm saying below... Speaking of Ewan, it reminds me of Summoners. Does Lyon (If you beat the Ruins 3 times to get him) still summon? If he does, he probably should keep his summons, while Lute get's Knolls. Selah should get Ewan's, more so for this reason -> It's annoyed me there isn't a mounted Dark Mage. I'm curious to see if you could make one. Ewan going Trainee -> Shaman -> Mounted Shaman with Staves sounds kinda cool. Also this would be cool because there are Mounted Anima and Mounted Light mages. Dark is probably unmounted, cause the tomes are heavy as ****, but that's not the point. It's a book, and carrying 5 isn't that much. Even if it's just Mage Knight's animation and sprite recycled, I'd still love it. Decided to complain about how 'hard' this is by getting a separate GBA file, patching that, and loading the mission to complain about the difficulty then. My units are the example of roughly where a player could be, if they had to much time, dedication, and had mediocre luck (My run is probably closer to abysmal in growths, besides Ephraim and L'Arachel's...)
  20. There we are. The full this of complaints from chapters... Wherever Selena is the boss to where Orson is the boss. Ephraim's route of course, but here's the 2K work Document. I've got School in 30 minutes, so if your throwing you comments and what I have, I'm not going to see it for... oh 7 or so hours. Sacred Stones Weapon Reversal Comments Pt. 2.rtf
  21. I'm saying lower the Key count from 5 -> 1 if Dozla becomes a Rouge. I use Colm generally not for stealing; SS isn't loaded like other titles. I use him for Lockpicks, and Chests, and Doors. Lowering the Chest Key useage would increase Theif!Ross viability. Otherwise, it's just a few items you miss. However, you hack and stuff, so you can go all out and do what you want. Got to the end of the chapter where Erika and Ephraim promote, then Ephraim got killed :C Need to redo the mission. Then fill out my comments, and I'll probably end up just uploading a MicroWord Document. IDK how, But I'll figure it out. Drag-Drop outta work...
  22. Or Dozla a Rouge. You miss stealables before him, and reduce Chest Keys to 1 so you miss chest items as well. Problem solved.
  23. Can anyone reliabley tell me if there is a letter cap for posts? The document with my feedback is over 2K.
  24. I'm doing the 15% increased growths because of what you just said. You mowed through the game. I love SS, but it's just too easy. I bump the difficulty up so It's not a breeze. And Garcia always has no speed. Most he had was 15 as 20/20 warrior (Only time I used him for a long time. Usually used till Ephraim, then benched). With these bumped growths, Dragoons have average 25 speed at their first apperance. Garcia just can't keep up. And Forde is bad because he can't tank, can hit, is doubled, has poor move, and shares his weapon with everyone else for the most part. And I just don't use Archers. I'm doing a 30% growth increase for FE7, and that's just been great. Fargus capped everything, and had 72 HP 0_o
