My Fleet read is a mess by the way. His first three posts all feel completely different so I can't nail down a tonal read and his last reply to me completely misses the mark content/answer-wise but I like the tone regardless so I can't even fault the guy

I'm here but like... There is nothing I want to say about or ask of any of the active posters. I honestly feel pretty silly for townreading all the active people but I do and I don't want to drop my reads just for the sake of having an active person among my scumreads

No, I think it's fair to still hold that against him. But I think it's unfair to classify him as mostly parroting if that's not the case anymore. I'm not challenging Marth on the way he read early Weiner, but I'm ??? on why he ignored later weiner in his read.

Yes I think you calling him out led to him giving the statements, but that doesn't mean I don't like the points he made / the thought process behind it

Tbh I'm not getting much out of that analysis but it's mostly a "should I be paranoid about this gamestate or not" for me

Fenrir being voted by 6/13 people in the game is uh interesting. Case 1: Fenrir is scum Townleans on refa/nuxl/hal solidify, marth up to townread. Minor townpoints for Fleet but if fenrir is MIA and/or scum without any of the active ppl on his team this is a reasonable point for a busvote. Sort of spews dusk town. Biggest question in this case is "Wtf is scumteam doing" Assuming 3 scum w/ these numbers minus fen and treating first 5 votes on him as town this leaves 2 scum in: Claire, weiner, roxas, fleet, ichigo, shinori I have a strongish townread on roxas, townlean on weiner. Feel like scum!weiner is more proactive in pushing the duskwagon here. If scumteam is fenrir + 2 of claire/fleet/ichigo/shinori them losing control of thread is not impossible so I could see scumteam ending up in a crappy position like this. Case 2: Fenrir is town Don't see scum!dusk behaving the way dusk is behaving rn. Dusk is attacking people voting him mostly but w/ town!fenrir being an available wagon I don't see why scum!dusk goes after weiner and claire instead. I was going to continue my analysis here but it's actually just a lame "we're wrong and everyone on the wagon looks worse" I wanna say Marth and even moreso fleet look the worst here but that's probably just bias from the reads I have now. I'm also going to pat myself on the back and say it is not impossible for this wagon to be mostly clean because there honestly hasn't been much interesting stuff this game so if scum is within the inactive people we could just be a bunch of lazy/lost townies. TL;DR I'm not super paranoid about the massive wagon size bc there are def scumteams that can end up like this Fleet is the likeliest busser in a scum!fenrir world Dusk comes out strong regardless of the scenario so I should probably increase this up to a proper townread I like most of the people on this wagon regardless of fenrir flip, w/ fleet being the biggest exception for me personally.

What changed since last time you posted a read on Fenrir? IIRC you had him as mixed bag at that point. Also what do you think of his newest post?

Confident in calling a townread on weiner based on 11-13, hard agree w/ his concerns on dusk's claire scumread. Dusk mostly dropped that read now so it's whatever but I got a sort of "This is my scumread now"-vibe from it at the time if that makes sense. Still inclined to give dusk a pass based on tone even if his stances are meh, mild townlean there. See above sort of. Did you read the whole weiner/nuxl/dusk clusterfuck when you posted this? Bc I don't get the parroting feeling from there at all The goal w/ that line of questioning is basically what I did with Roxas, which is try to see some bit of his thought process / get some stances out there because his post was a list of nullreads and promises to reread. I didn't get that out of it tbh but I also didn't really see the point of continuing that line because if the guy doesn't have reads he doesn't have them :shrug: Yeah okay, not necessarily leading, more participating but that doesn't really change anything imo. Pro-town, townleanworthy but I'm not going to hard townread someone for activity. To throw it back at you, what's the point of this question? I will listen to Refa boss wrt awaiting progressions but I was disappointed in Marth's opening, not because it's bad but because the past two games with him I had a pretty much instant hard townread on him from post 1 onwards and I'm not having that here

Though ig I had a gut scumread on him there and not here so maybe he is different? Side by side comparison they're not really different though imo

@Fenrir Aesir What makes you say this is a different Ichigo than arctic? I went back and didn't really see a difference when comparing the two

The problem isn't necessarily change, the problem is sudden change in a direction I see as bad. I'm not saying readlists are always bad (make them if you want to make them), but it definitely stood out to me as smth I didn't recognize from you, esp with my own tendency to do them more as scum in mind. Also, are you saying you're modeling your content after dusks shitposts? Hehe, I like this pushback tbh. Mildly annoyed your main defense is copied from dusk tho (don't blame you for it, but would be more telling if you'd first said it yourself) Going to do a pending unvote here bc I actually quite like that you're pushing back. Pending bc I can see myself going back in the near future. I disagree w/ dusk that just bc your playstyle is evolving we can't compare your games at all because I expect your tone to still be relatively telling and also think massive changes in style are still bad. Uhm, hard to tell tbh? Off the one or two posts they made I can't really say yet if it's a noteworthy difference. I do think it reads distinctly different from last game but at this point it could just be mood-dependent.

@DarthR0xas Could you try to find a post from each of dusk/nuxl that stands out to you and tell me why? Ignoring postcount, is there anything that you find either townread or scumread-worthy from anyone? (FTR, I and most people will argue posting a lot is either towny or not alignment indicative)

What I'm getting at is that I don't see why her treating you two differently is AI

@Duskfall98 I uh sort of forgot why you were scumreading Claire again, from what I can tell it's mostly bc of her different treatment of you and Nuxl? Rolling with the scum!Claire, town!you world, why does she treat you two differently? (Apart from the obvious scum!nuxl world, which afaict you're not believing atm)

Nice bait :thumbsup:, minor townpoints I'm going to be less of a coward and actually slap a townlean on dusk, the two posts that bothered me initially were the one Claire had the kneejerk to and the one where he called claire's vote OMGUS (which I didn't really think was the case) but overall I think his tone is good enough that I'm willing to go along w/ nuxl's meta read here Wrt Nuxl, on reread I actually really liked that he completely dropped the Claire case, I see scum!him bringing up the "hiding behind RP"-argument earlier or at the very least leaving it somewhat open but instead he completely dropped it (with good reasoning) Checked this, my Ichigo read here is just bad, idk what gave me that impression but he's back to null. Wrt Fleet I do think there's some merit to what I said, from what I recall from his other game (My hero academia mafia on this site if anyone cares), Fleet was also very uncertain and mostly reactive, but more in a "I want to find scum but idk how to do it" way then here? Hello hello friends Did a skim in between IRL stuff earlier but was super tired so I'm gonna do a reread now and get some proper thoughts out after that but from what I recall my gut reactions were: - I liked Claire's vote on Duskfall and to some extent Weiner's sheep. Not saying I think the case is particularly great, but I can get the kneejerk from Claire and like Weiner adding to the pressure - Dusk slot was a mixed bag for me, I think I liked the tone/mentality but there were some posts that made me go eeeh, will get to those in my catchup probably (maybe) - Nuxl 'leading' discussion is pro-town but not super AI - I could sort of get behind Refa's case on Fenrir no I haven't read fenrir since I saw the case, will sheep that for now ##Vote: Fenrir Aesir Super iffy gut reads: Ichigo feels different from last game (where he was scum), fleet feels different from his other game (where he was town), will do a proper check on the games I played with them before and get back to this

Yea, I'm checking out as well, this phase end time is pretty awful for me. I'm not going to consolidate bc I don't think my vote is needed to reach the 4 vote benchmark and I don't care enough between these two lynches, so I'd rather leave my vote on Claire in case a wagon there can happen / to prevent stuck votes in case of a PR claim of whatever. As for my final take on these wagons: I don't follow the jester case, have him as null, but I think the wagon on him is clean. Weiner read is a mess, think I'm settling on a mild scumlean but his wagon is also a lot more iffy so uh, you guys can have fun figuring this out :thumbsup: If anyone wants me to consolidate, object in the next half our or so

At risk of being the claire/weiner of tomorrow I'm going to say I still don't really like the jester case but I agree they've been kinda mediocre today. This brings me to my new towncircle which has dropped jester/bart down to null in favour of rad+xnad. I think RAD's turbo suggestion being turned down by dunn combined with overall good tonal pings makes him likely town and if he's confident in town xnad (rad, correct me if I'm wrong here) I'll slap him here as well for now despite nullreading him myself. Baldrick/Sully still town.
