  1. Charisma barely matters when the people she dances don't benefit from it when they move away in the same turn. Inheritance matters quite a bit for Leen as you can shove a bunch of useless items on Leen which she can sell to buy the Knight + Leg Ring from Seliph instead of waiting for Patty to get enough gold to dump. Although the main thing for Leen is her ability to reach the RES benchmark later in the game to dodge Sleep staves which Laylea cannot reach with the Barrier Ring. Other than that they are both basically the same (dancers).
  2. A friend of mine ran into an issue. Enid's promotion displays text from Percival. An empty textbox after this softlocks the game. edit: Skipping the scene leads to a black screen with the music still playing.
  3. The games make references to each other occasionally (mostly nods although it was a big point in Ark) but the series not going by chronological order in their numbering hurts. Thankfully Falcom released the chronological order for the games. Timeline: Origin (not listed) >>>>>> 1&2 > Celceta > Oath > Kefin (no localized release; probably the next Ys game) > 8 > Ark > Seven
  4. Hey someone else that prefers Origin to Oath. It might be because I played Origin before Oath but Origin just feels like it has more polished bosses where you don't need to "wait" as much to find an opportunity to attack them. XSeed seems to be wanting to port Celceta to PC with their teaser for the year (basically one of the images is a render of Calilica). While I also don't like Celceta that much it'll be interesting to see what they add compared to the fan translated version of the Chinese port.
  5. That was the original mode since XSeed specifically added Catastrophe Mode in their release of the game. Although while you couldn't use items (other than 1 exception) in Catastrophe Mode, the game was broken since it let you buy infinite stat boosters. I'd recommend Napishtim before playing Oath or Origin because its clunkier than those 2 while having better world design.
  6. It's just another way of looking at your AP in that turn when you attack. Goes down when you use one of the attack buttons.
  7. One change I might suggest is to change the Angelic Robe to the Seraph Robe to keep it more in line with the FE games after the GBA games.
  8. It's a fun series. While I prefer the 3D platforming style in Origin and Felghana, I still enjoyed 7 (Celceta was way too rushed).
