  1. Thanks a lot.Shit, and I just realized that I still don't have Renewal on Kana yet, if someone could oblige.
  2. Would like to request the skills for Caeldori: Pavise, Hoshido Unity, Nohrian Trust, Draconic Hex, Life and Death, Future Sight, and Nobility. *Edit* Would also like the same stuff for Shiro except for L&D. Replace with Luna. Hisame needs Hoshido Unity, Nohrian Trust, and Luna.
  3. An update from my previous post. All I need on Midori now is Sol. As for Shigure, Future Sight and Nobility to complete him.
  4. If you could leave this up for a while, that would be helpful.
  5. Requesting Midori with Salvage Blow, Sol, Hoshido Unity, Draconic Hex, and Nohrian Trust. Also looking for Shigure with Rallys (not Speed, Resistance, or Spectrum) and Nohrian Trust. Oh, and Pavise on the Avatar. *Edit* Forgot to say region is NA.
  6. That's not the issue though, that's a known fact. Might test another kid or two to confirm exactly what's the case. Kinda urked because there was no info of this (that I saw at least). Gonna assume it's as what was stated by Oshimos.
  7. Lunatic mode, so Seal Strength was useful for the map. Much more than Quixotic, as I was not running any proc skills. Was just trying to figure out if Kana inherits after the map, which seems to be the case. I already captured the Berserkers once and already know the deal with prison units and their limited usefulness. I did indeed save after the chapter, but luckily could still use the battle save to get back. I just did it again. Swapped another skill instead of Quixotic and it worked fine. That sucks. I barely was able to correct it myself, lol.
  8. Finally am in the process of getting the children on my first playthrough (Birthright), and found something odd. Maybe I never noticed before in Awakening. Children get the skills when you start their chapter (Avatar's passing Quixotic, Scarlet's passing Pavise) and that's it. Is there an exception in Kana's case because she's an ally unit for the whole chapter? As my units leveled up, I was cycling some of their new skills out, including Quixotic from the avatar for Seal Strength (he's learning Samurai skills). I thought it was fine because Quixotic is equipped on her fine. After finishing the chapter and returning to the castle, she now has Seal Strength instead of Quixotic. Pretty annoyed because I have to redo the chapter. Not easy when capturing the two Berserkers and while on Lunatic...
  9. I actually read your thread just before posting this one. It may be faintly related, despite this being just a case of passing impossible classes. Not sure what that skills I would have gotten if I had reclassed him when I could. Like I said, I had no idea what to expect it was. I thought maybe the options would still be available. I ran into it last week by the way. Checking again to find it gone was what prompted me to make a thread. I've held off on progressive through the story to get the supports in, I've been too anxious about it. A record of the classes was the last thing on the mind. Honestly, I'd need not only that, but the supports too, because that seems to be the source of these abnormalities people are seeing. I've been resetting and trying different support combinations with what I have to see if I can somehow find another one. No luck so far. I have no idea when or what corrected his inherited classes. Maybe got too many supports? Hell, it could have cleared after just one. A pure fluke. Almost tempted to try and replicate it... Let's see if I can remember the supports. At the time, Silas had his A (S ready) with Azura and Oboro, an A with the avatar, and I believe an A with Kaze. He had others, but I'm not sure they're too relevant (couple As with other girls and scattered Bs and Cs. Trying to remember his status with Jakob...I wanted to say it was a B or C. Ryoma didn't have As with Saizo or Takumi. Don't even remember if they even had supports yet. Just As with Hana (will be his partner), Oboro and the Avatar. Now I really wish I had the list of classes in my head. I'm certain they were all classes related to the bases/alts of whoever was tied through the supports. None of the above info on the support levels I had would probably prove or do much, but the whole thing is interesting. Really want to know if it can ever be replicated.
  10. Still running on my first playthrough of Birthright. Because of my style of play in FE, of course I forced myself to plan ahead and pair units to get decent stats and skills. Due to the daunting lack of info on the game, the pairings aren't fully optimized obviously, but whatever. I logged all pairings for myself and what skills to pass down from the use of Partner skills. I'm at chapter 23 and was about to start the S conversations for some pairs and get the kids, then out of the blue I remembered about friendship seals and how they would be much better than fillers from the mother's alternate class (Aegis from Silas for example). Well it was a revisit to the drawing board. Because of the spotty info online, while jogging down definite A+ pairings, I would test a couple I unlocked for the heck of it. Nothing off, units were getting the friend's primary class. Then I got to Silas>Ryoma. Somehow Silas had a bunch of classes available. I don't remember them all, but there was the Pegasus line, the spear fighter line (or was it the diviner line?). Long story short, Ryoma granted Silas all those classes somehow instead of just the Samurai. I thought one of two things were going on. Either Ryoma gave more classes (maybe others did too), or there was a bug, maybe a cross in the supports and other seals (Silas also had an A support with Azura and Oboro at the time, Oboro will be his S support) that was making the friendship seal grant more classes. Like an idiot, I didn't keep the save at the side and didn't even remember all the classes Ryoma was passing. I just assumed it would stick for later. Before moving on, I decided to work on unlocking all A+ supports for testing. I'm halfway through it (challenge map and DLC grinding), so more supports are open including those for Silas and Ryoma. I wanted to see if Takumi and Saizo would get those classes available too. Nope. I went to check Silas again and those classes are not available as well (fuck my life, right). Somewhere along the line, the game must have corrected it. I can provide no proof or even a log of support levels at the time unfortunately, but this is something to look out for. Anyone out there ran into anything strange with the seals?
  11. Sure did. Now an unrelated question. Whether it matters, instead of working from a dumped script, I edited in Adv directly so I could quickly save and see the results (gonna simply edit more thoroughly now to make less mistakes) . Between saving from Adv and Nightmare (making some changes to the units in the first chapter), a couple times, I couldn't get to the text editor (as well as the Portrait Editor and Spell Animation Inserter) anymore. The script is still retrievable (just save a new copy), but I can't use the old copy anymore. Not much of a problem there , but since changes made in Nightmare are commited to each rom, I'm sort of stuck since I cannot edit the script anymore. To work from the new copy, I would have to add all the changes in Nightmare again. Anyway to fix this?
  12. Sorry, I should have quoted that last reply. I knew what you were referring to.
  13. Yeah, I'm really liking the text editor in Adv. Thanks for the list. New to all this, but I wasn't saying it was hard though (actually, it's easy once you get into it). I was stating that there are so many things you'd like to change within the game, you don't know where to start first. Had already rescripted first chapter before I posted. Before I continue, I might write up a storyboard to make sure I can stay in line with what I would like the story to be. And yeah, I was looking for a better word to use instead of codes, because they aren't even codes.
  14. Aha. I was viewing the files the wrong way too. Found the lists. Gonna use them to make a reference file for easy use then. Just gonna learn the rest of Nightmare and see if I can do this edit in less than ten years (so much to do it's overwhelming, but fuck it). Have the first chapter roughly done. Now to work on everything else. Speaking of which, you recommend using the FE Editor Adv (if you've ever used it) at least for script or is there a more efficient way to do it?
  15. And I didn't even see that? Ha. If I had paid attention to somethin so obvious... I see though. Good lookin, man. Any lists with them all then from which I can copy/paste with ease? If not, I'm fine with it. Thanks again to both you guys in advance.
