I know, it's ridiculous how crazy they are about region lock on the 3DS. I thought it'd only apply to 3DS games. And I'm sure there'd be a way to do it with an SD card, that's how Project M worked for Smash Bros Brawl. I wish someone would come up with a way to unflip Twilight Princess on Wii with an SD card, but that's me getting carried away! I wish I was smart regarding this stuff, then it'd totally do it myself. But sadly I'm totally clueless. If you can't find any way you can hard patch it I would recommend an R4. If you're only putting one game on there, especially one that's Japanese elusive that you still own a real copy off, I feel like it's morally justified. The only thing with them is that, while they're really easy to take out of the original DS, it's harder to take out on the original 3DS. I have to press it down on the far left side for it to come out. But the original 3DS is still my favourite way to play that game. I don't think I'll ever put it in my New 3DS XL because it feels like you have to push the cartridge in way too far and that's my main handheld so I worry about it. But everything is up to you so do it however you think is best.

Really? Why do you doubt she'd do dub roles ever again? What the hell happened (besides giving birth, I get maternity leave but like leaving forever)? All I really need is for her to be Lucina's voice in this game. She doesn't even need to come back to voice Lucina they can just use her clips from Smash 4. Rachael Lillis has voiced Jigglypuff since the start and they just reused her voice clips from Smash 64. I believe Rachael Lillis even confirmed this on twitter recently. So I'm really really hoping they at least do that. I think they used Ike's new voice actor because both versions of him are suppose to sound different so they'd probably have to get fresh voice clips for that.

Wait hold up, like a legit copy of New Mystery and you can patch it to have the English translation on there? That's possible? For me I just bought an R4 and that's the only game I have on there. I couldn't stand playing on an emulator either so I used my 3DS. But to make up for using an R4 and the fact that I'm a crazy collector, I bought an authentic copy of the game myself. I can't play that on the 3DS, but the DS is a go! I'll beat the Japanese version one day but I really like playing it for the story so... it may be a while.

I don't know, I feel like I'm personally kinda done with the avatar thing for the time being, unless IS really has a bunch of super great wonderful ideas that will like change the way you think about avatar characters, I'd like to have more standard Fire Emblem stuff for the moment. Unless they make it like the Tactician from Fire Emblem 7 but... I don't think they'd ever do something as simple as that again. I just hope this game is taking the next step instead of relying on Awakening too much. Now I love me some Awakening, but I want this Switch game to pull a classic Switch move and show us what's next for Fire Emblem. But if there is an avatar and they have marriage in it, I'd need me some gay marriage in there thanks. This time with more than one option, Niles is great but I lucked out with that one. Lastly, I really don't want kids in this. Awakening pulled it off because it was a part of the story but it was so bad in Fates that I didn't even recruit the kids after I married people. I really don't want this couple I worked so hard on getting together to not even be allowed to raise their kid. If I'm customizing this world then these characters I've grown to love better damn well spend some time with their children instead of being deadbeat parents! Man I'm so happy I came on the forums again, it's building up the excitement for this new game.

If Morgan were there then my family would be complete! We can have both Morgans :P Bowser Jr's has the Kooplings and while I don't believe they speak actual words, they definitely have different voices. So I don't know. This is my way of virtual shrugging. Yeah, I'm pretty sure Matt Mercer confirmed he 's in Ultimate which is fantastic! I just really hope they keep Laura Bailey as Lucina. All they have to do is keep her voice clips and I'd be so happy, that's all I need. If Laura Bailey can't come in and record new stuff give her the Jigglypuff-Lucas treatment.

This! Right here! the 3DS Pac-Man stage was wonderful. I would love it if Poke Floats came back, my friends and I would go on that stage and not attack each other, but just try to survive the many jumps. We were young, it was fun. I also liked Pyrosphere as a Stage but I really wanted Brinstar Depths and I got that so I'm happy! I'd love it so much if they included Mute City from Melee, I feel like that stage is a classic but I also feel like I'm the only one that thinks that. At least they have Peach's Castle from Melee, Delfino Plaza, That Galaxy Stage and now New Donk City. I'm totally gonna play all of those in Morph Mode! It'll be like going through Mario's history!

Hey y'all! So I finally snagged myself an SNES Classic due to sheer luck, hacked the crap outta of it and added FE4 to the mix. Now I'm crazy and I want to make the PERFECT North American box art for FE4 to add to my mini SNES, but I'm having a hard time finding the perfect cover art to work with. I started with the regular box artwork, but then I found pictures of the same art just less cropped. I'm wondering if anyone out there has or has at least seen the complete uncropped (or nearly uncropped) artwork at a high resolution? These are what I've been finding, the 1st image is the closest to what I've been looking for, I'd just need it at a high resolution. But I noticed that there is even more to the image, because the calendar adds extra to the bottom (sadly by sacrificing the top). So yeah, if anyone knows something that I don't I'd love to hear about it. I'm sure that there are more people looking for the complete artwork as well. Thanks everyone!

I'm having troubles with that as well. It's weird because the original Japanese version works fine on there. I also have the MaternalBound patch of Earthbound on my SNES Classic and that's working wonders too. But as soon as I put the new translation patch on my SNES Classic I get a black screen when I start the game (which sucks because this translation is amazing).

Yep! I knew they were like unlockable and stuff, but I was mostly thinking about story mode. Didn't know story mode wasn't a large part of the game though, so that is a positive. Maybe I'll play it if I get it as a gift or something :P I'm gonna be honest, I really really don't like Female Corrin and her being on the cover is keeping me away from the game. Oh It's completely irrational! I am fully aware of that. But I can't help my insanity.

Yep, that exactly how I bet they feel right now. I think the only thing they could do without really pissing over off is do what the Switch has been doing best, reinvent! Breath of the Wild and Mario Odyssey I think really have changed what those series have been lately and it's been for the best. I really want Fire Emblem to get that as well, because I feel like that will be the only way to get that home console feel to it. But anyway, I said no avatars because I'm tired of everyone being completely split between male or female avatars and I want everyone to be happy again.

I mostly wanted Heroes just because they give voices to old characters... and I'm a sucker for that kinda stuff. But my phone's a brick and wouldn't let me play without updating, but there wasn't any room left on my phone, now it's been months and I sorta don't care. For Warriors... I may sound shallow but I prefer Female Robin and Male Corrin, and the game chose the opposite of what I like so I just don't have any interest now. Maybe I just like Pokemon and Mario spin-offs? Never been much for the Zelda spin-off camp, so I dunno. I do know I need to get Echoes though! If I hadn't spent all my money on Christmas gifts.... maybe I should have nudged my boyfriend in the direction of the game.... either way, I'll get it soon and you bet your ass I'm getting FE Switch as soon as it comes out!

Gr... I like to add a little role playing into my Pokemon games, so I do like the plot! That's okay though, I'm doing this play through of Ultra Moon for game play more than anything else. If I ever wanted a Pokemon marathon though... I may have to play the original instead... Okay, I did hear that one character's story arc was snuffed, I just didn't know who it was. That's upsetting. The haunted school wasn't in the original!? That sidequest was so much fun!! That's good, they were really dropping the ball with postgame for a while there. I'm never not gonna be bitter that there's no Hoenn Battle Frontier in the remakes. if they made DeltaEmerald for the sole purpose of a cash grab, but it had the Battle Frontier I would have bought it. Basically I'm getting the sense that Sun and Moon are better plot and story, while USun and UMoon are better game play. Wish they could have just made the Ultra games one game called Pokemon Eclipse an improved game play as well as story version, just like Emerald and Platinum were. Either way, despite me kinda having some problems with the way Pokemon has been doing things lately, Ultra Moon is plenty charming and there's tons of lovely things in the game. I just wish Game Freak would look at the big picture and focus on the generation as a whole instead of focusing on individual games that don't really play off each other that well. But that may be a tad too off topic. In the meantime I'm having a blast with what I got!

Yeah, so I never picked up Sun or Moon because reasons, they looked fine though. Now that Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon are out, I bought both and started playing Ultra Moon and I'm so curious as to how similar it is to the original? I've seen some people talking about the new stuff, but beside Mantine Surfing I haven't encountered anything else that appears to be new (I just got on island two by the way). It is really like Emerald to Ruby and Sapphire, where it's basically the same thing but more refined and perfected? I'll find out for myself one day, but Christmas is coming and I'm too broke to buy Sun or Moon at the moment... Anyway, to those that have played both, ever better if you've beaten both Original and Ultra, what are some of the differences? And what are some changes that you've preferred or didn't like? Just say anything basically, I'm really curious how much of my play through of Ultra Moon is, in reality, just Moon.

Yeah... I'm just picking and choosing at this point. Heroes? No thanks. Warriors? Nah! Echoes, I'll get it when I have money again! I'm starting to feel like, if it's not like a main series thing and it doesn't hold my interest then I could spend my money on something else. I haven't even finished Fates yet... I beat Conquest and Birthright but I have a few chapters left of Revelations that I have to get back too. But yeah as for Pokemon... I feel like it's been a bit of a mess lately. I hope they get their shit together for Gen 8 on the Switch.

Yeah, just from Smash Bros alone I felt the same way, (I also think Smash Bros English cast is near perfect because the voices of the characters have so much more variety then the Japanese equivalent. I just wish they could have gotten Female Robin, Mewtwo and Cloud's voice actors but whatever!) But yeah, I felt that Shulk and Bayonetta made the game feel more international. But anyways, that tip about the first Xenoblade Chronicles being in store was an amazing tip. In Canada still, so yeah I got EB Games, but I checked online and almost every store in Canada had a copy. When I went there they said they had it, it was considered recycled but it was brand new and sealed so... great tip! I know it's a long game though so I think I'm gonna wait until I beat Super Mario Odyssey to get into it. I hate being interrupted. I was in a Pikmin 3 groove until Breath of the Wild came out, still haven't beaten Pikmin 3 because of it. I'll probably still buy Xenoblade Chronicles 2 when it comes out though, I'm taking a pass on Fire Emblem Warriors so Xenoblade will be my November game!

That makes me sad that that's an unpopular opinion. I honestly had my Fates fix after I beat Conquest (which was the one I started with). Also, yeah... I sorta agree with the Revelations thing even though I'm like 6 chapters away from beating it. The second half has felt really rushed. Anyway my opinions I love Roy and Binding Blade is great I prefer Female Robin and Male Corrin I actually can't stand Female Corrin I think he's okay, but I don't see the big deal with Hector Radiant Dawn didn't disappoint me I consider Ike/Soren couple canon Meg is the best and most easy to level up unit That last one was a joke.

Okay, that's all great information! It's so weird though, Wii titles have just been completely dead at EB Games (cause I'm from the Great White North) but I just checked their website and they have Xenoblade Chronicles and a ton of different locations! So that's totally something for me to get. Also okay, so that's the difference between the two and when this new one is called 2. I think I can get behind both. Yeah, I've looked at a side-by-side of the Wii and 3DS version and the Wii version looks much more appealing to me. Plus I need more games for my Wii anyway and a deep game with tons of content is something I feel like the Wii in general lacks, so it'll look great in my library! And yeah, I'm a sucker for cases so while 20 bucks on the Wii U is tempting, I wanna get it for my Wii! Damn, Xenoblade Chronicles 2 on the Switch must be perfect for you though, great resolution on the go, sounds like a match made in heaven.

I actually never played a Xenoblade Chronicles game before, but after seeing the Nintendo direct I think I really wanna give this one a try. I'm also shallow and wanted to try out Xenoblade Chronicles 1 after seeing shirtless Shulk in Smash Bros, because that's how I make decisions apparently. But yeah, I haven't yet because I haven't felt like throwing up $100+ dollars for it, I will eventually though (Path of Radiance was just a priority for me). But anyway! I think this would be a good starting game to get into it, because I heard the last two were great, so if this isn't as good I don't have anything to compare it to. Yay trying new things!

I guess that makes sense then. Her Awakening voice was definitely not what I heard when I played Marth's games. But I liked it in a weird sounding way. More then my cousin that is... my cousin who never played Shadow Dragon or Mystery of the Emblem (just Awakening) said she wasn't a fan of Tiki because she thought she sounded high all the time...

Oh God, Breath of the Wild flashbacks. But yeah Tiki's voice is... off to me... was she even British in Awakening? I don't remember her being British. Anyway, I can't believe how perfect Cherami Leigh is for Caeda, I never released it but her voice is EXACTLY what I heard when I read Caeda's dialogue in her games. It's beautiful thing when they cast them right!

Darn, you can't swap which version of the character appears in the story. Is it shallow that because of that it makes me sorta not interested in the game? That's probably bad isn't it? I'll still buy all the amiibos though.

Alright, so I haven't been on here in a while and look what I missed out on. THE REVEAL OF GAIDEN REMAKE!!! HOLY DAMN!!! OH MY GOD!!! Anyway, I'm really looking forward to Palla and Est having some voices. Oh and playing a version of Gaiden that isn't too dated for my own tastes.

What the damn hell! I wasn't one of those people who were saying that 2016 was the year of awesome people dying, but then Carrie Fisher and... well I couldn't help by finally agree. And now Debbie Reynolds too. I mean I understand it, at 84 you don't except your 60 year old daughter to die. But... sorry if this is the most immature response ever, but why did Carrie Fisher even have to die!? I don't like it! (A part of me was really hoping that it was a journalists mistake and Carrie Fisher didn't even die... like what happened to Matthew Perry when Friends was still on...)

Yeah, I sorta prefer their original classes too, so what I have a tendency to do is reclass them, get the sill that I wanted them to get and then reclass them back. I don't know if that's how you're suppose to do it, but that's what I did.

Holy hell! These are unforgiving son of bitches. I swear to god Satan approved the difficulty level himself before making these things. I've just spent the last two hours of my life trying to beat the fourth episode "Beginning" and I only beat it out of sheer luck, but didn't even beat the boss, so I know that ending is total bull. Is there a secret that I just don't know about that makes this one level not crafted by the devil himself? I mean like, the other 3 where tough but there was always a little trick to them. This is one is just... I don't even know... I don't even know y'all. But story wise, they're all so interesting and I think they really add a lot to the Archanean games so like... I wanna do them right... but DAMN! This last one is so FREAK'EN HARD! I also like how this remake is an extra feature onto the Mystery of the Emblem remake, and FE12 is so easy, and then.... and then there's this.... good lord. Maybe an shoehorned over-powered My Unit would make these a little easier. So yeah, I thought I would gracefully rage to all you fellow FE fans, because I need an outlet to express my opunions. Also if anyone had any tips for episode 4, I'd love to be able to go to bed soon. THANKS!
