I did sorta want Forrest with blonde hair too, not like he's my favourite character or anything, cause he's really not. I can just see him with blonde hair. Also, a part of me feels like Kaden is too precious to marry off to someone.

Yeah, I can see Takumi and Oboro. Any reason why you see Sakura and Leo together? Cause I always kinda wanted to marry off Hoshido royalty to Nohr royalty. I just can't quite see anyone from the different sides there together. So feel free to convince me :P Orochi is my gurl, so I differently need to find her a husband. And that's good to know about Jakob! It was seeming like he was kinda of a jerk to everyone who wasn't me, so I really didn't know who to pair him off with. And yeah, any idea what some of the relationship with the kids are like? I tried to play with that too in Awakening.

Howdy everyone, so I'm playing Revelations and now I've gotten to know like all of the characters because of Conquest and Birthright. But there is one little problem... I STILL HAVE NO IDEA WHO I SHOULD PAIR UP!?!? In Awakening it was so much easier, I knew exactly who would be good with who, and I personally think my Awakening match ups were dead on (humblebrag). But with Fates, I just have no idea. Very few people are married in my game so I am turning the tables to you fellow Fire Emblem fans! Please, sell me your Fire Emblem Fates ships that can be achieved in Revelations. I don't really care about what kids can get what skill from whatever parent or anything technical like that. I'm all about personality and story! So please, help a guy out and sell me on your personal preferred pairings. With some excepts. These are the pairings that I already have... MaleCorrin x Niles Felicia x Inigo Owain x Severa Kagero x Saizo That's all I got. Their "Fates" are in your hands.

Question, were you dumb like me and got rid of your GBA boxes? I could have had my Pokemon Sapphire, Emerald and Fire Red boxes right now if younger me didn't toss them out like used wrapping paper... I only have my Blazing Sword box because I bought it last year off eBay.

Yeah, that's sort of what I meant when I said that there's a part of the "pro-choice" circle that are actually "pro-abortion" I don't think it should be something that happens extremely casually, it should be a very thought out decision.

I wish more people felt the same way you do. With all due respect, I don't entirely trust Salon, they've have some questionable articles in the past. Not saying you're point is invalid because I think it is valid and the world is a crazy place and anything can happen in it. I just don't trust Salon. I know I personally would ideally like to trust the justice system, but I know it has its faults. But I really do feel like the father should have a say in it, I mean there can be an agreement where the mother is 100% void of all parent responsibilities, so legally speaking she isn't even a mother. And damn, there wasn't going to be something else I was gonna say but I have to work now dammit.... Half-ideas, nothing is expressed quite right at the moment.

But I do hate myself for throwing away my old N64 boxes because I was such a moron. Now I want to rebuy the boxes.... Any new-old games I buy has to be in the box. Like I got Star Fox 64 last year, so I bought it in the box along with the rumble pack. And I got FE7 in the box with all the inserts as well. Like, I bought physical copies of Binding Blade and New Mystery in the boxes from Japan as well... because I hate money apparently.

Whoa, Serious Discussion indeed. I don't know, maybe I just feel like throwing my thoughts on a controversial subject at the moment. Not that abortion will ever really be a thing in my life due to a number of reasons, number 1 being the fact that I'm a dude. But yeah, maybe I am "pro-choice" because my official stance is, "whatever, do what you gotta do." But I've noticed on the internet, and the dark corners of tumblr that some people say they're "pro-choice" but they're really pro-abortion, and they talking about getting abortions left and right just for fun, and that's pretty messed up. I personally think abortion should be the last thing you go towards. Like if there's a father in the picture, the parents may not be dating but the mother doesn't want the child and the father does and has the means to support the kid, then I think the kid should go to the father because he helped create it to, eh? Also I know that sometimes abortions can cause serious depression for some of the women who get them. I don't think that's a reason to ban it, that'd be dumb, but it's something to seriously consider before getting one. As well as something to be looked for after it happens. But yeah, that's all the stuff I really think I gotta say. Do whatever you need to do, not my business.

Yeah, amiibos aside I don't really have anything beside the games either. I think some posters would be nice at least! And thanks you! I must resist the urge to buy every amiibo there is... I must resist the urge... Thank you :)

Oh my god... I never saw that before :P I was lucky and got my RD for like 65 dollars on eBay. It was in great condition! PoR.... I got it for cheaper then 200... that's something. Was she? I legit don't know anyone's ages.

Yeah I can understand that. There are some video games where I really really don't want voice acting *cough* Zelda *cough* And I don't notice some of the gameplay stuff. Is that bad? Like I only notice it when it's something like, Dark Dragon compared to Shadow Dragon. And how FE1 and FE2 where soooooo sloooooooooooooooooow. And Shadow Dragon was great for my attention span. Was he really that old in RD? .... Wow... scene ruined :P

I totally forgot about Project X Zone! I need to actually check that game out... And yes, I will include the Smash Bros. Melee is my boy Roy's big debut ever after all! And where did you get the cards? I've seen the artwork, clearly, but I actually have no idea where I could get the cards. I need to get my favs. I like how they also have not main characters on their cards, like Gordin, who I also love. Do they have a Serra one yet? She and I are tight. Oh also my amiibo collection is small, I'm super impressed by people who do have a big collection though, but I don't know if I could ever do. Maybe if I won the lottery! But for now I have a Peach amiibo, Ike, Roy and Lucas. I need all the Earthbound characters and all the Fire Emblem characters (minus Robin, because Female Robin is my canon). But I'd love to see a picture of your amiibo collection if you had the chance! Aw thanks, that's actually really nice of you to say! As of what to call you... I'm leaning over to Yed for some reason... But it's a hard decision :P

Yeah, poor Lani Minella. They're not bad voices. I just don't think they fit the characters, and I don't think the voice direction was the best because I seriously don't think they had enough time or budget to dub the scenes properly. Because seriously, Lani Minella voiced Mist, Rolf, Micaiah and Yune. That's a lot of people for the few that actually have voices in RD. her best one for me was probably Micaiah, but even then I heard an extremely distinct voice whenever Micaiah spoke. That'd be the dream though, eh? But I don't know, Nintendo doesn't seem interested in getting their fans to make official works. Just look at the Mother 3 fan translation, it's one of the best (if not the best) fan translation I have ever seen, and it was made by someone who officially works as a script translator and he has said Nintendo could have his translation for free, and if he needed to do anything else he could work for free, but still no bites from Nintendo. Some of these recent Fire Emblem translation are amazing as well, so it would be great if Nintendo changed their minds and picked up the Mother 3 and the good FE translations for themselves.

Oh hey! Thanks for the welcome! And thank you for liking the sig pic! I worked hard on it.... my Photoshop skills are rusty! And yeah, I totally forgot about amiibos. My amiibo collection is lacking, thank god because I don't want to spend all that money. But right now I have an Ike amiibo that Fates made me open... as well as two Roy amiibos; one is for using the other one is for looking. I really want to get Marth and Lucina amiibos as well. But I'm strapped for cash at the moment. It's also why I haven't played Sacred Stones yet, I mean it is on the virtual console, but I'm going to buy it in the box eventually anyway, so it can wait. I would highly recommend playing Shadow Dragon. I personally loved the game, it's such a classic and I love the atmosphere. Personally, I played it and thought about it as, "I am playing an NES game" because that's really what it is. It's an NES game that's just tweeked a bit to make it not painful. I did try the original NES Dark Dragon and the Sword of Light, but it went by so slowly and Marth died at the first boss so... I didn't play past chapter 1. Shadow Dragon is basically the original game, without the annoying early video game gameplay (plus I want to see how far my units can move). I had a nice time with it anyway. To each their own. And yes, I love having the game boxes, I feel so stupid for throwing out my old N64 boxes so now I make up for that buy spending lots of money. Though to be fair, I worked at a factory then and I made 400 a week, it was so nice! Except the job made me miserable, but the paycheck was so nice. But I had the money to buy all of this. And I think I found cheaper deals off ebay. It was all cheaper then I thought it would be. Binding Blade was like 90, but that was mostly shipping. New Mystery was only 60! That was awesome! FE7 was like 70. Radiant Dawn was 60, THAT WAS A STEAL for that game! and Path of Radiance I bought when it was expensive, but not when it was stupid expensive. I got it for 150, but now I never see it going for less then 200 on ebay. I have no money now and I barley have a job, so if that makes you feel better about my crazy FE spending habits.

Hello everyone, I signed up a few days ago and I've been posting a tad, but I thought I'd give myself a more formal introduction. To quote my about me profile page, "I've never been on a forum of any kind before, so let's hope I don't screw this up." I got into Fire Emblem a little over a year ago, played FE7 on the Wii U, and now I've played every game from Binding Blade and up (not counting Scared Stones.... I'll get on that eventually). But yeah, my favourite FE games are the Tellius games, because holy damn they are so good. But I really have loved every FE game I've played. Some of my favourite characters, as you can probably tell are Roy, Ike and Female Robin. And I do have ships... but I don't want people to force their ships down my throat, so I don't really want to force mine down theirs (respect). So the interesting part, I'm super curious as to what other people's Fire Emblem collection is like? This is my collection so far, I'm insane so I needed psychical copies in the box of all the games I've played, inserts and instruction booklets included. So what does everyone else have? It could be anything really, including figurines, A VHS of that terrible 2 episode anime they made :P My cousin got a tattoo of Lucina's quote, "I say when it ends." Please let me know, I'm very interested.

Honestly, every time Mist spoke (not during the cutscenes) all I heard was Kate Higgins voice. So I was really surprised when I played Awakening and guess who voiced the other blue haired protagonist's younger sister? Kate Higgins! But for Mist I heard a voice closer to Kate Higgins' Sailor Mercury voice, but something much more confident. I saw Mist as someone who was cheerful, overall confident and definitely mentally mature for her age. Oh and I hated Zelgius' voice. Please replace him in an ideal remake. Poor Lani Minella's voice was whored out in RD. I don't really think her voice fit any of the characters they got her to play (including Lyn in Smash Bros). Surprisingly enough I kinda did hear her voice as Janaff but I know that's probably a super unpopular opinion. Lani Minella is still my one true Rouge the Bat though! (and Omochao!) But if I could voice anyone... I personally would love to voice Soren... just saying... If I'm being honest I could probably do a good Princess Peach without helium.

Niles for the men, Felicia for the women. Male Corrin because I like him way more and it balances out the genders of the royal siblings. And Conquest; because it was everything I wanted out of Fates, and I felt so satisfied I didn't really play(/beat) Birthright until two weeks ago.

Haha, wow that's hilarious! Yeah, I knew about the different stats, I just didn't understand them. My knowledge extended to "dings" the more "dings" I heard during the level up, the more I knew the character was better. That was my basic understanding. I think I just released that I'm okay with the grunts because they do that for dialogue in EVERY single Mario game there every was, so I'm just use to it now :P And you know, I didn't even think about adding changes to PoR that RD made. Like the ledges and the laguz, yeah that would be great things to add into an ideal PoR remake. And yeah, I'd love to have Ike and Mist support, a matter of fact I'd like it if family members could have support conversations in general in the Tellius games. But I'd want them to keep a more traditional support system like the original PoR had. The new support system is great for the new games, but I don't want it taking over games that already use the traditional support system.

Whoa, way to tease me. That sounds awesome. I'd totally play that! Especially with all the cool looking fan games there are now a days. I just saw AM2R recently and it made me want to be a Metroid fan! Since you said this, I am going to assume that you want to get into game design though. Have you done anything in particular yet

Hey, fairly new here, but I just wanted to say thank you for making this wonderful fan translation. I actually started playing Fire Emblem a little over a year ago, so I guess in general I'm a pretty new fan. I've always loved Roy from Smash Bros, he's still my main, so I really wanted to get to know him better. My first game was FE7, but right afterwards I picked up this very fan translation and made it the 2nd Fire Emblem game I've ever played. So thanks for helping me get into my now favourite video game series! My bank account didn't appreciate it, but I do! :P

For Sothe, I still maxed that bastard out. I needed to make Radiant Dawn as easy as I could. I played that at a time before I actually looked how much damage a unit could do in a fight, and how much they can take.... Please don't ask me how I managed to survive Fire Emblem before that... Tormod was adorable in RD, so maybe I'll actually attempt to make him usable in my next play through.... maybe... And it was much appreciated! I'd be horrified if they added kids to these games, it barley makes sense in Fates! But yeah, I know there's been talk of better voice acting in an ideal PoR/RD remake, but what would everyone think of extended voice acting, like in the newer games? So, during dialogue sections the characters "half-voice" and make grunts every time they got something to say. I think I may be like, the only person to actually kinda like that. But I'd personally be indifferent if they went with it or not. Though I love when the units talk during the actual battles, especially the critical hits! Plus I think the Tellius crew has so much personality that their critical hit sayings could potentially be really awesome. I would love to hear what Marcia would say.

I literally don't see the difference between this and Fates :P And yeah, if they ever did a remake, please dear god update those voices. Maybe actually hire voice directors? (That's a joke). But seriously, they were bad. They need to have Jason Adkins voice Ike like he use to though, I felt that his voice in STEAM and Fates was way to high... he sounded kinda nerdy to me... I actually really liked the voice for Elincia in PoF, it felt really down to earth, if they could bring back that actress I'd be happy. Her acting wasn't even that bad, and I'm sure that the parts that were cringe, where just because there wasn't a lot of effort put into dubbing the cut scenes.
