  1. I just beat Lunatic last night, and unlocked lunatic + mode. Can anybody give any disclaimers, tips or tricks for me before I start?
  2. I clearly state that I did in the beginning. Your question is kinda redundant.
  3. Name: Morgan Gender: Male Allegiance: Neither Job: Grandmaster/Lord Appearance: Blue hair, Brown eyes with the Mark of Naga pictured in his right iris. Wears homemade Grandmaster clothing, but wears the outfit of a lord underneath. Has several facial scars, and bears the Mark Of Grima on his neck. Personality: Very curious, ambitious, and also a near flawless tactician. Very melancholy, and prone to lose his temper when aggravated. His reckless nature puts up the facade of a brave and motivational leader, but little do his troops know, this is simply a man with nothing to lose. Bio: Morgan always looked up to Lucina. She was strong and serious in battle, but she was kind and caring when addressing him. They had lost their father when they were young, and their mother was nowhere to be found, assumed dead. Lucina’s ambition to save their already damned world had inspired Morgan to work just as hard. They had been through so much together, and had pushed each other to exceed their limits. So much so, that Morgan forgot what fear felt like when ever they fought Risen off. He was reminded of this feeling when they fought Grima. Lucina, Morgan and the Future Shepherds thought they were ready. Until Grima revealed herself. Morgan stopped in his tracks. It was his own mother. He didn’t know whether to be happy, or terrified. Grima began to beckon him, filling his head with delusions of grandeur. He was delirious. So much so, that he didn’t notice the purple spikes being thrown his way. When he finally snapped out of it, he was on the ground, and Lucina was in front of him, speared through her chest. His big sister was dead. He didn’t even get to give stereotypical goodbyes, or hear her last words. She was just alive one second, and dead the next. And it was all because of him. His vision clouded. In his head, he could hear an earsplitting roar. He felt a searing pain on both sides of his neck. He knelt by Lucina’s corpse, kissing her on the forehead and shutting her eyes. He lifted Falchion, the blade’s center glowing in acceptance of its new host. Spikes of his own shot out from the ground in front of him. They speared Grima’s arms and legs, pinning her to the wall. Morgan slowly approached. Once he reached her, she tried pleading and putting up the facade of a loving mother. He said nothing, and impaled her with the Holy blade. The fight was over, and Morgan was hailed as a hero and took his sister’s place as Exalt. Morgan was drowned in grief for days, his depression only subdued by periodic visits from Cynthia. He soon found himself falling for her. Eventually, the began a proper romance and had a son together. He lived happily for a while. This happiness didn’t last long, and he returned to find Cynthia dead on the floor, Chronus stolen from his room. Morgan left Ylisse in a blind rage and through a glowing portal in an attempt to follow the kidnappers. Once he realized what happened, he was very confused. He learned that he was in a land known as Hoshido. He attempted to find his way back to no avail. Eventually, he founded and became leader of a group of do-gooders, fittingly named The Shepherds. He is actively searching for Chronus, and will join forces with whoever and whenever necessary to achieve his goal. Signification Other: Cynthia (deceased) Child; Chronus: Greatly resembles Chrom in his youth. Kidnapped by Anankos at a young age, leaving Morgan distraught and thirsty for revenge. Other: Wields the Exalted Falchion. Names of dead family and friends engraved into the hilt. Holds no grudge towards Hoshido and Nohr, and tries his best to stray from Hoshidan politics, despite Hoshido being his home. Has knowledge of the Nohr/Hoshido nobles, and thus believes them to be innocent in Chronus's disappearance Wishes to challenge Prince Xander in single combat in order to test which divine blade is stronger. 4. Similar to my Chrom speech, I decided to edit one of Winston Churchill's speeches to seem like Robin were reading it to rally troops against Walhart Enjoy: I have, myself, full confidence that if all do their duty, if nothing is neglected, and if the best arrangements are made, as they are being made, we shall prove ourselves once again able to defend our Island home, to ride out the storm of war, and to outlive the menace of tyranny, if necessary for years, if necessary alone. At any rate, that is what we are going to try to do. That is the resolve of the Exalt’s Government-every man of them. That is the will of the council and the nation. The Ylissean Halidom and the Kingdom of Regna Ferox , linked together in their cause and in their need, will defend to the death their native soil, aiding each other like good comrades to the utmost of their strength. Even though large tracts of the Schism and many old and famous Dynasties have fallen or may fall into the grip of the Conqueror and all the odious apparatus of Valmese rule, we shall not flag nor fail. We shall go on to the end, we shall fight in Ferox, we shall fight on the seas and oceans, we shall fight with growing confidence and growing strength in the air, we shall defend our Halidom, whatever the cost may be, we shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills; we shall never surrender, and even if, which I do not for a moment believe, this Halidom or a large part of it were subjugated and starving, then our Empire beyond the seas, armed and guarded by the Ylissean Guard, would carry on the struggle, until, in Naga’s good time, the New World, with all its power and might, steps forth to the rescue and the liberation of the old.
  5. I decided to slightly edit Ronald Reagan's infamous "Peace and War" speech to incorporate elements of Fire Emblem, mostly with intention of making it sound like it were being read by Chrom before Endgame Enjoy: Let’s set the record straight. There is no argument over the choice between peace and war, but there is only one guaranteed way you can have peace and you can have it in the next second, “surrender.” Admittedly there is a risk in any course we follow other than this, but every lesson in history tells us that the greater risk lies in appeasement, and this is the specter our well-meaning liberal friends refuse to face that their policy of accommodation is appeasement, and it gives no choice between peace and war, only between fight or surrender. If we continue to accommodate, continue to back and retreat, then eventually we have to face the final demand “the ultimatum.” And what then? What King Validar has told his Grimleal he knows what our answer will be? He has told them that we are retreating under the pressure of the Ylisse-Grima War, and someday when the time comes to deliver the final ultimatum, our surrender will be voluntary because by that time we will have weakened from within spiritually, morally, and economically. He believes this because from our side he has heard voices pleading for peace at any price or better Red than dead, or as one commentator put it, he would rather live on his knees than die on his feet. And therein lies the road to war, because those voices don’t speak for the rest of us. You and I know and do not believe that life is so dear and peace so sweet as to be purchased at the price of chains and slavery. If nothing in life is worth dying for, when did this begin just in the face of this enemy? Or should Marth have told the people of Altea to live in slavery under Dolhr? Should Alm have refused the trek to Zofia? Should the Greil Mercenaries at The Moment of Fate have thrown down their blades and refused to fight the battle heard round the world? The martyrs of history were not fools, and our honored dead who gave their lives to stop the advance of the Valmese didn’t die in vain. Where, then, is the road to peace? Well, it’s a simple answer after all. You and I have the courage to say to our enemies. There is a price we will not pay. There is a point beyond which they must not advance. Our tactician has said that the destiny of man is not measured by some kind of scripted fate. When great forces are on the move in the world, we learn we are tied by the bonds we create. And he said, “There is something going on in time and space, and beyond time and space, which, whether we like it or not, spells duty.” You and I have a rendezvous with destiny. We will preserve for our children this, the last best hope of man in Ylisse, or we will sentence them to take the last step into a thousand years of darkness.
  6. Damn. Guess I'll have to get used to Conquest Gunter.
  7. So, I really want to use Gunter in Revelation on a regular basis, but his garbage growth rates makes it really difficult. Would aptitude help fix this,or am I screwed? P.S. If it does fix his growth, can somebody link me their castle with an aptitude Gunter? Thanks.
  8. I prefer Awakening' s difficulty as opposed to the bullsh*t that is phoenix mode.
  9. They probably found a new ruler. Maybe Henry took over?
