Everyday I see begginer hackers coming up here posting a "dumb" question That could easily be solved, so this is why I decided to create this topic. What to do before you post here? 1: See if you can't solve the problem yourself. Sometimes, the rom can glitch out because you simply forgot an hex edit somewhere. so, be sure to double check everytime if something doesn't work. 2: See if another question thread has the same question answered. You can try to search for the question you are asking to see if someone hasnt already solved your problem. 3: Read the doc. This is the most important part, as your problem may already be documented and fixes may have already been made. common places to look for these are feuniverse.us and The resources section of this forum.

If you mean the actual tuleset to use with a map editor, then i cant help you, but if you mean the tileset for manual map changes, dont use that, use tiled for map changes.

My guess is that instead of giving eliwood the death quote event id of 0x65, you gave him the death quote text id of 0x65. Try double checking to make sure that isnt the problem.

Even if there isn't anything for that, Making an asm to give a status effect should be pretty easy.

You need to make a turn event that activated on turn 5 and points to your ending events.

the offset ould need to be in hex, so 0x01000270

You are ORGing at the same free space for both events, so when you inserted chapter 2's events, Chapter 1's events got overwritten.

It's an error on my side and i'm too lazy to fix it rn Personal preferences. Ye it is, i'm gonna redo it. That font looks pretty good! anyway, as for vwf, i was thinking of implementing it later down the line using asm. For the moment i already have way enough space, but when i'll run out of it, i'll look into it(I already have an idea of how to deal with it.)

In the death quote editor in nightmare, there's an event id linked to each char's death quote. this is the id you should use for AFEV(You should also give your boss a different event id)
