So Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes was released a few days ago, and the question is will some of the characters from there be added into FEH. I'm also curious how the characters will be categorized. From the poll I mentioned that the the Three Hopes characters can be added under the Three Houses section. Or they could be merged with the Tokyo Mirage Session characters and create a new section for third party games since each of them would be small on their own. This also extends to the characters from the first FE Warriors. Will they retroactively add them? I'm interested on how certain units could function in FEH. I'm most of the way through one of the routes, Shez's sword that they conjure doesn't really have a name, and they duel wield it with another sword that can be equipped. So I was thinking for Shez their conjured sword it could be a B slot skill, that at least makes all of their attacks Brave hits. I guess that would directly powercreep Brave Celica's Double Lion. Then they can just equip some other generic sword like Zanbato or something.

C Feud on Xander is pretty funny considering what happens in Birthright. I'm considering summoning on this banner mainly so that I can spark Ullr, and I guess I would have some use for everyone here except August. I'm a little salty that Xander looks to be a better Galeforcer than Summer Dimitri in the the since that he doesn't have to rely on Heavy Blade, but of course I would only be able use him in Fire season.

I'm going with Altena, gotta rep the +10. Hopefully the matches won't be too much of a pain, but at least you can retry for free...

I'm disappointed with the Double Special Heroes banner. I was hoping this one would have Manuela, V!Robin, and Hatari Azura. So that V!Chrom, V!Lucina, and Hatari Xane would be on the next one because Spring Sonia should be there and having these other units would have been nice for me.

LnD 4 gives +17 overall extra damage compared to Flashing Blades +5, although it is true damage. Although if you combine Flashing Blade and LnD seal the overall damage to the unit you're targeting is also +17. The benefit of LnD 4 is more splash damage on everything and that unit can run Hardy Bearing. While the other option lets you break through Guard effects, but I don't think that's as common. I guess Guard is probably more common than Vantage unless you're playing in the lower tiers of stuff. That Sara looks pretty good. Canto Control and Grandscratcher are generally the things you're looking for outside of her base kit.

Yeah maybe. I do technically have Atk/Def Menace fodder sitting around anyway.

I've already gotten Flow Guard and Atk/Def Menace on my Kempf in HoF from the first two matches, so I probably won't need to grind to get what I want which is nice. Fatal Smoke and Trace are other options, but Trace is in the codes and Fatal Smoke might come around by the time Kempf gets a refine.

It seems that they picked the most popular students from FEH's "Choose Your Legends" results got each house. Now will either Bernadetta or Felix win at some point?

Wait does this mean I can will Harmonized Marianne and Silque on the Christmas banner or something? Yeah sure lets go with that, that's how I'll avoid getting baited by this banner. I'm still salty that I got peer pressured into summoning on last year's banner for Duo Hilda, even though the character I cared more about is just the backpack... I've already decided on waiting for the Double Special rerun for Sonia, I can do it again for these guys and gals.

Probably a conditional Brave Bow I'd think. It's funny how the units where the brave attacking concept comes from for this banner are on the backstage. Altina being the Harmonized backpack and Elincia being the Tempest unit. That would be pretty out of character for Edelgard. The other swimsuits have been pretty tasteful in terms of what you could see that character actually choosing to wear. And Edelgard is popular enough anyways, she doesn't need the Caeda treatment lol. This banner is pretty stacked. If I do choose to summon on it at least I have the FEH pass spark and won't get burned like I do every summer. There's always something baiting me on the summer banners. It's not necessarily the characters this time, but how they function. I'm not looking forward to Edelgard being a more popular "Arden" and being obnoxious though.

I'm thinking of pulling for F!Byleth and Sothis on the banner coming out tomorrow. I don't have a lot of orbs, but a couple copies would be nice. I'm hoping the Byleths don't join the Reinhardt and Ophelia club of not getting refines. Also the banner lasts for four days so I can see if the Summer banner some how entices me. I'm partially hoping it's not Valentia so that I can safely skip. Or maybe I'll just go into waiting for Double Special rerun hell.

Darn where were you to give @TheChoZenOne this advice? It's sounds like good tech, but I wouldn't call it OP, unless this Ignatz or whoever can be a really good in the player phase. Ignatz is definitely good for the Authority rank if nothing else. He can also get the A rank Retribution battalion fairly quick as well.

Well if it works it works. I don't remember extensively making units "stat backpacks", if that approach is viable and necessary for some part of a map then I'll do it. I think the late game punishes you a bit for not having multiple units available for actions. I didn't really use tonics either, so if juicing up a unit works fine then I guess it is.

The whole alienation thing is interesting. I've started to become more aware of narcissism. I guess there are people who want things to center around them so when they're not giving attention they feel threatened. But like what has been said it's effectively "Straight Month Pride" every other month. I guess people are upset that there's a dedicated "Pride Month" and for the sake of "equality" there shouldn't be one. I'm more of the that line of thinking, but I understand that it's necessary for oppressed groups to be able to express themselves and for others to be able to see them as just people celebrating and being happy like any other. There's some weirdness that may or may not happen in the Pride Parades that people disagree with, but even then that doesn't have to define the whole LGBT+. Well even the trans people themselves have to deal with the confusion. The simple concept is that gender and sex are separate things. Even though males generally identify as men and females generally identify as women. I can see the complexity, and it would be easier if things were simple, but just take things for what they are. If you see a male, more than likely he identifies as a man, but that isn't necessarily the case. Just accept that people come with a small asterisk that you should pay attention to, but it won't always be there. Maybe that line of thinking is more comfortable? I guess genderfluid exists and that's were the discomfort on picking a side comes from. I'm guessing it's seen as a sickness. Like instead of using "FailWood" "people with cancer" could be more accurate to what's being conceptualized from FailWood's stance. Well the problem, and "confusion" as FailWood calls it is the gender dysphoria. The solution for people going through that is transitioning and being trans. Trans people exist because of the "confusion" that they're going dealing with, I don't think it gets more complex than that.

I played the prologue of the game so far, and I'm liking it. Byleth being this big boss in the beginning was daunting. She was just taking zero damage from that Warrior strike thing. My meetings for work are starting so I'll have to play more later. Also Nintendo got us Fire Emblem fans with the Three Hopes bait then opened the Xenoblade special edition preorders a few minutes later. Time for Waiting Room Hell.....

So they're celebrating Three Hopes with a bunch of Three Houses banners. I'm thinking they're not adding any Three Hopes characters, and the next Three Houses banner will just be a regular academy banner. For the AHR Yuri seems like the objective best pick. I'm personally think of potentially investing into F!Byleth, because I can see refined Creator Sword being pretty strong. I'm not sure how I feel about the new Aether Raids mode. The scoring just means you're more likely to bump into whales initially. The good old days of having either super easy maps or super hard ones. I guess people who have super invested Gen 1units can rejoice. I wonder what Askr and Embla are going to look like in game. From the trailer they're upgraded versions of their retainers, but I thought they were suppose to be dragons. I guess bat dragon and cow dragon? And now we're getting generic beast enemies.

Wow I'm Rank 1 for team Rhea in the last hour. I'm a little sad to not see the Japanese Fae that was beside me for the last couple multipliers. If Rhea can get the win in the end this will be the best VG experience I've had. And here's me jinxing it.

I was looking at the score tracker and I saw that Muarim was matching Ike for the last half of yesterday, so I wonder why that shift happened? I was alluding more to what you said about no multipliers, but my comment was vague.

Surprising that Muarim beat Ike, but it looks like either Ike's team was slacking or Muarim's got a lot of traction for that latter part of yesterday. Now team Rhea, that I'm on, has to deal with the nonsense.

So we have bike lizard and jet lizard as the cover legendaries. I think I like the orange one more, but we have professor giga chad in the other game. I wonder what the variety in outfits would be. We've just seen school clothes with either pants or shorts. It would be funny if you can't get anything not school related until post game.

I couldn't decide for a while, but I'll join Rhea first. Surely joining the most popular team can't have any unfortunate circumstances.

Nice that's 8 am my time so I can view it before work. We should be seeing the cover legendaries. I'd be surprised if one of them isn't a bull.

Ahh Marianne looks great. I'm not necessarily a fan of her shadowy eyes, but it works for the character. I also like what they did with Ignatz. The designs here really look like a midskip with Ignatz trying to be a knight, and Marianne still being a little depressed. I wonder if there will be side missions like with Marianne fighting the Wondering Beast. I voted Leonie as my least favorite because it just looks plain, it's fine though. The Fódlan barber didn't run their course here it seems.

To me it's weird to do the whole Kronya is Monica plot line again, but I guess it is possible if she doesn't get exposed the way she does in the original story. Something about Three Hope's narrative has to be different, like why do the three lords make peace at some point. Considering that TWSITD were a driving force in starting the original war, it seems strange for one of their spies to still be in cahoots with Edelgard. Granted we haven't seen much of Monica, she wasn't even shown in the Black Eagles showcase, but she isn't apart of the class's year anyway. The other thing is that she's was shown to be a Mage wielding a tome Sacred Weapon, and not an Assassin like Kronya. There's also her father showing up in one of the Ashen Wolves paralogues, so i feel that it's reasonable for the Ochs family to be explored more.
