  1. CordeliaXRobin. Yeah it's another avatar support. But based off the assumption SumiaXChrom is the pairing that happens, Cordelia gets heartbroken, alongside her squadmates deaths. The support with Robin not only shows how talented she is, but also has Robin help her come to terms with her squadmates deaths. It's also the only S-support Cordelia has that doesn't mention her crush on Chrom. Another smaller thing is her S-support with Robin is the only Avatar S-support other than Ricken's that doesn't play the usual confession theme. Plus it's kinda fitting how Chrom and Robin are usually depicted as best friends and so are Cordelia and Sumia that they would end up with them. Also this friendship thing goes further I think with Severa usually being depicted as Lucina's best friend (future past definitely shows this as Severa becomes one of her personal guards) and wouldn't be too far-fetched for Cynthia and Morgan to be best friends as well with their general attitudes.

Also that F!Robin and CHrom support is a reference to FE12's female avatar and Marth, basically the same ideals as Chrom and Robin but no marriage. Marth even asks Kris (who was acting kinda like Male Robin's support with Chrom) if they wanted to see him naked. Just a fun fact.

  2. I say yes to keeping it. Yeah it's a shield, but I value the characters too much to really care about that. I find it more convenient than resetting, which is annoying to me, I've at least beaten games with classic though, looking at you fe 8 and 11. Honestly I wouldn't mind it if FE did a middle ground besides the turnwheel, two main strategy rpg series I like is Valkyria Chronicles and Mercenaries saga. If a party member gets ko-ed, in valkyria if they aren't tapped by an enemy or get run over by an enemy tank, then they can be rescued in 3 turns (or the map be beaten within 3 turns) and evacuated off the battlefield. In mercenaries saga there is also a 3 turn limit or so, but there are items the party has access to that can res allies or it's a skill for the cleric class. In short I would play classic more if it had a safety net like that, cause being honest, we all know rng likes to mess with all of us. I say it'd also provide more utility to staff users if that was a prime function of their class.

  3. So I have a few ideas. Red: There's Alm of course, and this one is a bit of a longer shot but Jeorge getting a legendary alt. Yeah it's unlikely but he's the main wielder of Parthia and in echoes it has fire effects when critting.

Blue: This one is much harder,  unless FE switch protag uses a bow, the only other option I can think of is Shinon. This of course would mean a Tellius banner usually, which given we have colored bows and colorless dragons now, beast unit origin?

  4. I saw the new Poppi form and T-elos were coming to the game. The source I read though said or rather was implying it was part of a blade dlc pack coming out. Either way new content and especially this content is good. Gives me a reason to go back besides completing Mik's affinity chart, spamming a to get s+ affinity, and the oddball quests and wp/sp grinding.

I don't know why but I have been concerned about the switch's library in general not just FE 16. Last year was glorious to say the least, the switch selling like cupcakes and having a major release every month. This year is different however, since january there have been few major titles other than kirby, I don't recall anything else now. Even thought games will come such as smash, octopath, spatoon dlc and FE 16 and some games that we are unsure of such as pokemon and metroid (which I doubt will come out this year). Sony on the other hand has a possible GOTY and a many exclusives. I am not dissapointed or anything but I wonder what they will do to give all games equal chances and not get them overshadowed by other games.

I won't deny January to now has been slow, but the switch library is surely getting bigger, they'll probably announce bigger titles after e3 besides some of the ones you mentioned. Also Valkyria Chronicles 4 while not a switch exclusive is coming on the switch as well and possibly even the original one due to japan getting it on eshop later this year.

Sony does have many exclusives (for me it'd be the god eater series primarily) and this may be personal, but honestly while they do have those exclusives most just don't appeal to me. I'm guessing you're referring to god of war 4 for GOTY? Not my type of game and while I won't deny it may very well be GOTY, the year isn't over yet.

  6. Hoping possible E3 reveal (which is the only option if it's still coming out this year). I have a mild theory about it that is most definitely wrong, but saying it anyways. What if the game has the cipher reps in it as maybe not the lord but in the game as units? I think that would be interesting.

  7. Probably going to be a late 2018 if at all release. I hope to gods they don't release it near smash or pokemon. God forbid we don't need another Radiant Dawn vs Mario Galaxy case. I will say if it does come out later 2018 or 2019, I'd be fine with that, though dissapointed, cause I'd probably be hooked on Octopath traveler and Valkyria Chronicles 4 for a while after their release.

  8. People find the peg knights in warriors to not be good? They just haven't seen me play Cordelia.

Anyways for tier list, I'd say there's really 3 areas that need to be factored in: Enemy wave clearing (I'd give Wyverns the top for that), 1v1 (I'm personally going Marth, but Lyn, Lucina, or Ryoma can be here as well. And the reason for Marth is i find his C3 works great on weak gauge spam and his entire normal combo can easily do half a gauge, plus his speed and attack are good) and the third one is general utility. The one I'd say excel the best at this is probably controversial, but Lissa is my choice. She can defend a fort easily, heal allies, crowd clear, and 1v1. She may not be the best at all of those but she gets the job done, I can get most of the way through a map, nearly lose the ally base due to getting carried away, swap to her, and not only defend, but reclaim and push back the enemy offense. i have her about level 70 cause I rarely play warriors anymore sadly( I want to, but find it tedious when the progress I have to make are not fun objectives or lots of grinding, whether gold, exp, ko, or supports) and she rekted a level 100 Velzerak (I think that's his name, the chaos dragon) just by merely unloading her specials and awakening gauge (also may help her that I gave her the Hero Axe so she has a powerful weapon)

I definitly recommend to give the Gen 7 anime a try. Watch it subbed, since the dub starting going downhill with BW (XY&Z was when i made the transition to subbed) but the Gen 7 anime, while not as good as Gen 6, is still one of my favorites. The facial expressions are hilarious and overall a nice change a pace after the somewhat more serious tone of XY&Z.

I'm not too keen on watching gen 7, I've seen the art and all and I'm turned off. To me it made Ash look even younger, which I don't like. I feel gens 1-6 had a natural progression of Ash almost, with in my opinion the XY&Z Ash actually being the best. He looked older in that one cause he is supposed to be older, people did calculations for his journey based off times said in episodes and some movie specials, and at the start of X/Y, it was estimated he was 14, which fit his design, even though they jeep saying he's 10. This may seem like me hating on gen 7 which being honest it kinda is. But credit to those who enjoy it. This is just my view on it and obviously it isn't true. But I think having Ash win the Kalos league and ending his anime would have been best. Think of it, the remix of the original pokemon op for x/y would have meant something. And it wouldn't have been the end of pokemon, they could reboot the anime with a new protagonist, and it would have went well with the semi-reboot Sun and Moon did. It would have surprised and hopefully pleased some older fans that Ash won and completed his quest. It could have been referenced in the new reboot and we see Ash progress despite not being the focus anymore. Just my thoughts as a fan and like I said obviously it isn't true so take that idea with a grain of salt.

Pokemon used to be my favorite video game series of all time then Fire Emblem dethroned it

This accurately describes me Xeno is probably 2nd or 3rd after FE because Valkyria Chronicles exists

Anyways, I used to be a massive pokemon nut my entire life, which lasted until I got into FE. I still played it for a while As seen by my avatar being Lucario, which is only because back then I went by the name online, but after gen 6 ended I stopped being interested. I picked up Sun eventually, took forever to beat it, and even longer to do the postgame (which was the only enjoyable part in my eyes). And this is coming from a guy who 100% the gen 6 pokedex and got OR/AS launch day and beat AS that weekend. I also grew up with the anime, and though I technically started playing pokemon in gen 3, it was firered, so it felt was basically gen 1 and coincided with the original anime I watched a lot. I watched nearly every season (minus some gen 6 seasons and I'm still avoiding gen 7s) and picked up and played nearly every main pokemon game that came out since Platinum, which was how I shifted from a young fan to a now former diehard. I even went back and got several older games, Yellow, Blue, Gold, Silver, and Emerald. But I was getting out of it towards the end of gen 6, and what I think ended it for me was the pokemon anime. I skipped most of gen 6 due to life happening but I came back and watched the final league battle, and Ash losing made me realize or rather accept that Ash will forever be a posterboy of the series and will always redo the entire cycle just for money reasons. That turned me away so much I basically quit everything. And I'll give gen 8 a shot maybe, at least I'll try to fairly judge it and then decide whether to get it or not, but mostly I'll only get a pokemon game again if its gen 4 remakes or a new ranger game (loved that spinoff series).

  11. I honestly call her La-Rachel,  but I've heard and also called her la-rach-el. Honestly it doesn't matter in my eyes as long as we overall get whoever one is talking about. I say this cause how many people are actually going to pronounce Camus "Camu" and though it may be wrong I still prefer calling Linde Lin-de instead of Lind, it's all up to preference, I will say some characters obviously have easy names with easy pronunciation like Roy, Ike, Jeorge, Charlotte, etc. Also just citing Pokemon here, they have 2-3 different officially released ways to say Arceus and Sceptile.

  12. I say 40 or so. Variety of classes but also hopefully enough room for some to be developed. I don't want fates size with like 60 characters and a little smaller than awakenings cast. While I love that games cast, having a smaller cast means more development and chances for more characters to be relevant throughout the entire game. I think the radiant games did somewhat a good job of this, my example being the Greil Mercenaries.

  13. So for Severa: Gregor, hair color aside (which is the closest matching to the official artwork of Severa), The support with Cordelia seems likely, and in the future past dlc Severa admits she became a mercenary like her father to avoid following the same path as Cordelia.

Owain: I want to say Vaike, Frederick, or Lon'qu. Vaike would explain a lot of the weirdness in Owain. Lon'qu would explain Owains good swordmanship, and Owain at a young age might have taken his Fathers fear of women (imagine Lon'qu covering his face to avoid looking at women) as a sign of strength. Frederick is the least likely but Lissa does say he was her first crush and makes a little sense with the awakening boxart of him holding her.

Inigo: I want to say Virion or Henry. Virion would explain the flirtatious nature of Inigo but Henry seems like a good choice to me. Once again Future Past shows why Inigo is usually always so upbeat, is cause he took inspiration from his fathers wicked sense of humor. Plus it shows when Inigo gets serious even Henry is somewhat afraid/shocked.

  14. Yeah the previously mentioned gold rush maps will help a lot, also decent for support grinding and ko farming, Anna's skill and luck increasing skills and gold drop blessings will easily make it a hefty run.

Spread Pay Day to everyone, use Luck +20. There were times where I literally had to use gold on levels just to avoid capping out.

I must ask, how does one even amass that much gold to nearly hit cap? I always have a use for mine, whether it be crests or leveling up characters I don't use, or even some blessings. I don't even think I've been over a million in my file at once ever.
