In all honesty I think they should, at least eldegard and Dimitri if anything. Dimitri in his demented crazy state is a far better fit for the burn the church to the ground storyline. Eldegard always seems to be in control of her emotions and fits better in the blue lions storyline. I mean overcoming tragedy to become a well adjusted hero. Dimitri is not that and it always felt weird to me that he was like that.

Like it and hate it. I love that each character gets access to different spells. I hate that some get like 5 spells and some get like 2. Hated the faith spell list, outside Nosferatu, hardly anyone gets another attack spell. Solutions: Give extra access to spells for classes and if mastered can transfer them over via weapon art slot Let everyone get 4 or 5 instead of 2. 1-3 healing spells rest attack In faith branch for every character, it's bad

I'm going to compare it to legend of Zelda botw, the bones are there but the story and a little bit of gameplay is lacking. Good starting point moving forward though

I don't think this is too unconventional, but I ran Hilda as a fortress knight. She was squishy at first but then her defense skyrocketed and now at level 30 she's got around a 15 spd and like a 32 defense with great strength. She doesn't get doubled and can actually double other armors and great knights

Not really, not being able to double without a brave Lance really sucks. The only reason I kept him around was for the Lance of ruin. Funny enough, my Ferdinand turned out beastly.

My sylvain went noble-lancer-cavalier-paladin and at like level 25 wound up with like 15 spd. He did however have like a 25 str.

Place the limitations yourself, that's the only way I can play a game multiple times anymore. Nobody starts with the nuzlocke, but without it on consecutive playthroughs the games are just boring.

I got Ashe which is probably about 65% accurate. Though I did answer the hp question with Slytherin cause that's what I was sorted into back in the day. Though I don't think Ashe is a magical nazi

If we do not look in depth at each route (aka Rhea is nuts in cf, and eldegard is more sympathetic), then I pretty much have to lean towards Rhea on this one. Eldegard starts a war with the whole continent for her own ideals that could have been solved via diplomacy especially with other houses nobles sharing similar ideals. Rhea may have done some questionable shit, but nobody can deny that the church did help a lot of people and kept the peace

I understand the game needs you to be a teacher, but seriously if we speak rationally, byleth would have been in the knights under jeralt, not a teacher. It's not like byleth was leading the mercs, he was under jeralt. Now the argument for student while justified, I don't think holds up as well as a knight does. I mean until recruited, Cyril isn't even a student, so why should some nobody Merc be a student in the "prestigious" academy.

I'd go golden deer probably, anything with the word empire in it smells like elitist trouble, and holy kingdom says elitist religious trouble, and I want none of that bs. Now from a student breakdown, I think gd is middle of the road. You see Hilda types everywhere in schools, and the only headache I would see as a teacher would be having to tip toe around marianne even when trying to help her. Blue lions have probably the easiest in line students, cause even sylvain is a decent student, he's just dumb outside of class. Felix, well edgelords will be edgelords, he will mature. Black eagles, I like Ferdinand, but if I was a teacher I think his elitist crap would drive me nuts. I have issues getting along with people who are eerily similar to me, so lindhardt would make me super stressed and pissed off. Yeah, taking golden deer mainly for the loose affiliation to the church and broader less elitist ideals

Her Rhea devotion is kind of annoying, but what can I say I have a type, between her, leonie, and Shamir, it's the short haired sporty tomboy types. As a unit Im surprised they made her a sword master and not a holy knight/paladin. I mean strong willed tomboyish female paladin is a typical cliche... I want my cliche damnit. I just kept her sword master and gave her a training sword+... Yeah she doesn't even need thunderbrand, she will slaughter everything if I give her anything above that training sword, and even then she still does.
