  1. Nina's convo was weird but I suppose that was to be expected. The others honestly just bored me. I haven't gotten their S convos yet, but even if it's ok, 1/4 doesn't quite cut it. I preferred the CYL one that actually developed or explained the characters with them talking more about themselves rather than praising the summoner

  3. So the fates forging bonds has the characters overplaying their gimmicks in a ridiculous setting. Should have seen this coming
  4. Orb stashes? The last time I saved orbs was in late January for the SS banner. I went into CYL2 with barely any orbs and had to scavenge from quests and events. Getting the units I wanted was nothing short of a miracle.
  5. None of the current banners interest me but I have to satisfy my urge to summon, so... +Def -HP. I'm on a roll it seems. I didn't even have a pity rate on any of these banners
  6. Since I'm satisfied with my CYL haul, I'm just spending orbs on a whim now. Yolo'd an off focus Grima (forgot to check nature before foddering) on the fury banner yesterday, and a full circle roll on the same banner today just got me an off focus Sigurd (+Spd -Atk, same as my current one) and Nephenee (+Res -Def) okay then
  7. For those who have her, what's the final verdict on Flora? Overhyped or actually threatening?
  8. Healers can inherit solo skills but still can't use fury/L&D/blows. Just change the damn skill restrictions already

  10. I can't really see him being anything but an axe armor, so he's kinda doomed to be outclassed from the start. Maybe he'll bring a fighter skill though

Character and unit wise, I really don't care about any of them, with conquest still having my least liked cast in all of FE, but in terms of fodder, Silas being the obvious demote is definitely what I'm most excited about. More reposition fodder and 4* accessible steady stance and def wave? Hell yeah. As for now I'll patiently wait with my orbs for Atk/Spd solo to be introduced.
  12. Which is why I said it follows the criteria, but because of that, is completely useless to anyone trying to build an armor team. Sometimes it would be better to change a few definitions so as to better account for the slight differences in performance of armors. Regarding the other point, rating PP oriented mages on EP builds still isn't a fair way to rate units. And considering that gamepedia is the only tier list to do so, I don't see any reason to back this change.
  13. But how many healers is an armor team going to encounter at their score range anyways? Especially since the most commonly recommended ones are cavalry healers who have lower BST. I think the most I saw was one Veronica every 10 matches or so. While definitely a threat, it's not one so common that all melee armors should be dropped several tiers. Same can be said for the dumb decision to rank mages for EP. Are those specific omnibreaker/wary builds so common that the criteria for mages has to be completely overhauled? Because I'm pretty sure forcing a PP mage to run a niche EP build is only going to kill every other matchup they have just to counter one threat, that should arguably be another unit's job to kill. And if team synergy isn't taken into account, then why is Odin assumed to have +6/6/6/6?

Tier list still looks like a pile of crap to me, but to be fair, I don't give a shit about some of the supposed new "meta" builds *cough* CC mages *cough* not to mention how pointless the armor emblem buff list is, since despite following the criteria, completely undermines the point of an emblem specific list. Though I don't see as much of a problem with armors at the top of the lists as others, especially after running armor emblem for the past 2 weeks of arena. Positioning with armors isn't really as awful as people make it out to be. The only maps they tend to struggle on are flier biased maps like the lava one, but pretty much any grounded melee unit struggles on that.

  16. I'm done with CYL2. He's a rather unfortunate +Spd -Def but my LA!Hector has that as well and he's been doing fine.
  17. Yep, and Veronica will get the next one. She's probably going to hit really hard, and give us the last 3 multipliers. Whether that will be enough, I don't know
  18. Not necessarily. Another possible situation is ending up in same on the second last hour and Veronica barely pushing Ephraim into the 7.5 for the last hour. I don't think there's any other possible winning situation outside of these 2, though my past experiences with upsets has shown that this isn't exactly a rare occurrence
  19. Well, if it is fates, I'm thankful they're giving me a chance to stockpile orbs again after CYL
  20. Alright, 3.2 to 1 is nowhere near as bad as the good old Ninian curbstomp, but this will be an uphill battle nonetheless. But we're pretty much guaranteed multipliers all the way which is nice
  21. On to the finals on team Ephraim after a close fight, severely outnumbered by the upcoming opponent's team. This seems familiar.
  22. Unless some ridiculous bs happens, finals will be Ephraim vs Veronica it seems
