  1. Team Ephraim and Ike ending up in same after an eternity of nonstop rubberbanding. Gauntlets really do love to defy all predictions during the last few hours. The best way to win now is just to hope that the similarity in size of the teams lets Ephraim keep the lead until the end
  2. So my originally regretted choice of giving Celica desperation when I was short on renewal fodder turned out to be a really good choice in the long run. Double brazen is hilariously fun on her.
  3. No greens, but... +HP -Spd It's either bench or fodder for him.
  4. Celica gets brazen Atk/Spd and no change to her original effect Odin gets a prf bladetome and Atk/Spd link Cherche gets a prf brave axe and panic ploy lol even IS knows Cherche prefers brave
  5. Alternatively, if she doesn't have a staff skill, I hope they give her a good premium healer A skill because those are stupidly hard to come by. Atk/Spd+2 would be nice, or a push skill, doesn't necessarily have to be Atk/Spd as I don't think they would go that far.
  6. Units look alright but no personal connection to any of them and no particularly interesting skills bar special spiral means I'll probably skip. I don't mind Ethlyn being the TT reward but if she doesn't come with wrathful/dazzling she won't see much use as I already have 3 built staff cavalry
  7. Infernal was beaten by my SS tactics team. Nothing too difficult. Jamke himself is thoroughly underwhelming. I have never really had an interest in using Infantry archers and he doesn't even have good fodder like the past few
  8. Joining team Ephraim probably I have my salt shakers ready
  9. It's 2 orbs for the first 7 days instead of 1 orb for 14 days You just missed the last orbs yesterday Regarding teams I've found myself using fliers>mixed>armor>cavalry>infantry from most to least. I'm not sure why but I barely touch horses now unless I need them for a special map, though I can usually clear those with fliers first.
  10. While these are the two I don't have, I think I've seen enough at this point to know roughly how well they perform Celica Competing in the sword infantry category isn't easy, but she does make it work. Her unique B skill turns any weapon into a brave weapon at full HP, giving her some rather unique and varied builds, such as brave armorsmasher and firesweep. Her base royal sword lets her pull off her standard galeforce sweeper set quite effectively making her a force to be reckoned with on player phase. She does have several flaws though, one being a lack of self sustain preventing multiple uses of double lion without healer support, which limits team composition. She also has a middling enemy phase when compared to her rivals Karla and Ayra, but still manages to bring something unique and powerful to the table in an overcrowded category. Her multiple viable builds average around a 9/10 Hector This guy can never be a bad unit it seems. Hector is Hector, playing very similarly to his base form in fact, with built in QR, but now with a lower threshold and an added killer effect. Oh, and he's a lance armor now. It's not too hard to see where it goes from there, with a unique version of DC that has it combined with sturdy stance for even better performance on enemy phase. With bold fighter he gets a powerful player phase, notably being able to run Ignis instead of the standard bonfire due to the killer effect on Maltet, making him a superior option on player phase compared to his main competition, Hardin. In comparison, his dual phase set also leaves room for a seal slot as he doesn't need the QR seal. That aside his only real drawback is not getting accelerated cooldown on enemy phase due to not being able to run steady breath without sacrificing DC. Other than that he's basically the best blue armor. 10/10, Hector OP
  11. I don't think they will change the original effect of Ragnarok, but rather upgrade it to only drop 1 HP like Atk/Spd push I'm honestly unsure as to what the best possible refine for it would be but please don't let it be another bond.
  12. inb4 Odin's Grimoire: During combat, swaps unit and enemy's Atk stat. I'm glad Celica's finally getting a refinement, I currently have 300 dew with no one I want to use it on.
  13. While I do appreciate the changes to GC scoring, 4 hour rounds were a mistake. By the third hour no one can play because every territory is knocked out
  14. I think it's the glow. It makes it stand out a little too much, especially on the hairpin, based on the units I've seen in the arena/friends list.
  15. Honestly the ugly white border on the gold accessories have kinda killed my motivation to beat abyssal. I've gotten pretty close to beating Marth's but I can't really be bothered to make the last push.
  16. Also to make those who can't complete it not feel like they're missing out on anything. It's a sort of "whale difficulty" since merging kinda takes the challenge out of everything else
  17. Gave Ephraim DC and Aether, paired him with 3 armors with wards, and proceed to solo 5 maps in a row. Easiest arena run of my life
  18. Flier emblem cleared infernal without much struggle, but abyssal is just nuts. I'm doing single digit damage against enemies with HP in the 70s to 90s. Though to be fair I did get panic ployed
  19. Found some proof I wasn't hallucinating. Not quite sure why that happened but at least I'm now sure it did.
  20. For once the new legendary shares a colour with units I don't have, but unfortunately I don't want any more red swords, and I have 0 orbs anyways, so I probably will just pass this one. And my track record with rolling for legendary units is pretty horrendous. Though I hope this means people will stop complaining so much about dragons
  21. Huh. I'm pretty certain OG Hector was in S when I checked that day but he's back in S+ now for what it's worth.
  22. So it finally happened. Well regardless, he looks really good. Doubling visible buffs makes him pair well with his groom alt and somewhat ironically, OG Ephraim, and his B skill is basically dragonbreaker+dragonsweep rolled into one. And he gets a better regnal astra lol
  23. Good would be an understatement honestly. He gets to double on both phases with no HP requirement and only a very easy to activate condition that doesn't even need an ally (armored boots/wave skills). Special fighter's cooldown acceleration is more like steady breath than heavy blade in that enemy attacks also reduce cooldown by 2, on both phases to boot, making it even better than both fighter skills combined when paired with Garm. And it still has guard built in on top of that. It's inheritable but no one uses it as well as him anyways. Regarding the tier list, I believe Ephraim also kicked OG Hector and Winter Chrom out of S+ if I didn't miss anything last update.
  24. If there's one thing I like more about CYL2 compared to 1 is that the choices are much better balanced to the point where it's highly debatable which the best pick is.
