Are most people here even from America? Legit question, is that common knowledge or just kind of an educated guess? Just because we speak English, I don't think it necessarily means most of us come from there. At the very least I don't, and I've complained from the other side of things when America got stuff first before. I don't think it's wrong when people complain about America getting stuff first, and I've seen plenty of Europeans give legit complaints about a bajillion games they had to wait a few months for even though an English version is already out in the US.

Well, now that I've calmed down somewhat, I do imagine that they'll probably have an English trailer soon or something. And it's probably not too much of a big deal since the new features are probably far-off and won't be here for a while. The most immediate thing is the new focus summon, which we could all tell about even without knowing a speck of the language. But still, I do think it's a legitimate complaint for international players to want an international game to make international announcements rather than catering to a single specific audience. It doesn't bother me as much anymore, but I find it a tad bit rude that many people are equating this complaint as an attack on Japan, its culture, and also its holidays. I don't really think anyone on this thread meant it in such a manner or are hating Japan immensely for this. Maybe they might not be super-fond of Intelligent System's business decisions, but how does Japan exactly come into the equation...?

For once, I'm pretty much on your side. International players do play the game and some of them whale really hard, so I do think it's rather unfair that they can't be bothered to give us a simple text page with a few bullet points describing upcoming game features. I would forgive them if they simply planned on doing it later, but from what I understand, we're getting this crazy focus summon a whopping 2 hours later, which is like super soon. A heads-up would have been nice, really. An announcement after the fact loses its meaning. I know Golden Week is a Japanese holiday, but FE:H is an international game with an international audience. We play it and some of us pay for it. A lot. Something this major should not be quietly passing us imo. This pretty much sums up my feelings on this.

To be perfectly honest, I do think they should have at least given us a translated summary of the new upcoming features. Regardless of whether Golden Week is in Japan or in South Africa, the fact remains that all players will be affected by these new features, and there are probably some of us that are considering coughing up cash for this ridiculous new focus summon that's coming up. There's no need to have a whole translated video, because that's probably way more effort than its worth regarding hiring voice actors and stuff, but I do think they ought to at least inform us of the base details that will be occurring. Just a simple page with a bit of text is fine, as long we know what is about to happen. Game developers ought to inform all its players about upcoming game content, especially since FE:H uses the same server for all languages and it's not like players from other countries will be getting these new features any later. It's one thing if Japan had their own server and were the only ones affected, but we're getting affected too. Is it really that wrong for us to want the developers to care about us to some degree...? Golden Week is fine and all, and anything that doesn't affect our accounts can be left untranslated since there's no point, but I do wonder what I'd be doing without all the Reddit people coughing up the details for us...

Oh gods... I swear to god, they timed this with the Ike banner purposely. This is just evil. They clearly want to force everyone to pay up instead of saving for orbs. I DON'T WANT TO FACE THEM EVERY SINGLE MATCH IN THE ARENA

But honestly speaking, are they seriously doing that Ryoma/Hector/Takumi/Azura banner? I want those units really bad, but I do NOT want the Arena to be infested by them at the same time. Please, someone, tell me there's a catch to all this. I need it.

I do hope it's important. I'm feeling more and more hyped up, and I'm so afraid that I'm going to be disappointed by something trivial. Shame the video doesn't have a chat attached to it, because I'd love to see the live reactions of people.

I would imagine it's just now and then. If they do it every week though, I am seriously going to need to consider 5*ing them because it's just so worth it in the long term. But I first need to complete two 5* Adult Tiki(s) for inheritance purposes, so it's going to take quite a while before I can ever get around to that. You have my deepest sympathies.

I actually tried using Navarre at first. Boy was he useless. And then I realized Sharena was a bonus unit and that I have her at 4*. Amazingly, even beyond buffing she's even good for taking a single hit. Might not seem like much, but it did make my life at least once or twice in my arena chain.

Don't sell yourself short; you're plenty cool too! It's nice to have lots of dragon lovers here, really. And yeah, I feel for you with the pulls. I'd be pretty bummed too if I failed to pull Young Tiki or Ninian off of their banners. I generally try to avoid spending, but knowing myself, I'd have definitely dipped some money if I failed to roll either of them with my free orbs. Fortunately that wasn't the case, although in the end I did end up spending $75 for 140 orbs during the first Voting Gauntlet because I reasoned it was going to be my last chance to get Lucina in a very long time. I didn't spend all the orbs there though, and saved up some of it for Ninian later, who was ridiculously hard to get. I struggled hard to get my first one at all and the second was truly dumb luck coming into play when I decided to pull 30 minutes before her banner expired. Still, that's some fine dedication you have there. Can't say I've raised an Adult Tiki to 5* myself, so that is one area that you've indeed surpassed me in, when it comes to dragons. Her being the first unit you performed a 5* upgrade on just sells it even more. By the way, I would suggest seriously trying for 40+10 with Adult Tiki. I know it sounds intimidating, but trust me, it's a lot more feasible than you might think. If you solely focused all your feathers on her, and did consistently well in the Arena and Voting Gauntlets, I would imagine it'd take 4-5 months at the absolute maximum to finally 40+10 her. My Nowi took 2 months, and I had like three (thank you Nowi banner) natural 5* pulls of her to work with, while the rest were 4* versions of her being promoted to 5* via feathers. I had the advantage of not needing to do the 3* -> 4* promotion and pulling enough 4* Nowi(s) during my absurd hunt for Ninian, but I can't imagine it'd take you too much longer as F2P. I did buy orbs one time, and while most of it went to Lucina I do admit it gave me tons of units to send home. So perhaps that hastened my end goal by like a month, if I'm being kind of generous. But yeah, if you're willing to be liberal about sending units home, 40+10 is surprisingly realistic in a few months. Also I just read the article on the wiki. Or is it not a wiki anymore? Either way, you did a pretty solid job on writing up the sets! They're detailed but still short enough that they're not a drag to read through. They look really compact and organized, and I feel like you did an excellent job of communicating across the advantages as well as the main purpose of the sets. Do you do this often? If not, you totally should. You seem to be pretty good at it. Dark mages are pretty cool too. I'd have went for them if my dragon obsession didn't cause me to save my orbs for them specifically. I'm glad that you at least have decent luck somewhere in the RNG hell. Speaking of which, I half-heartedly tried pulling for an Ike with 20 orbs, but instead got another Young Tiki immediately. I just backed out and decided not to pull anymore for the rest of the banner because I can't imagine my luck getting any better than that. EDIT: You may prove yourself a Dragon Master, but I will always stand in your way as the ultimate Dragon Master.

Like Pete said, I don't think they've done something like this before, so I'm pretty curious about the contents of the stream. 10 minutes is enough to hand out a fair amount of information too. Although I'm personally not expecting too much because expectations lead to disappointment more often than not. Even so, I'll watch the stream as it happens because I can.

Sure, go ahead. I mostly learnt through personal experience that a merged Julia can and will survive a TA3 GTB/Qr Young Tiki. In any case, while TA3 + GTB Adult Tiki isn't necessarily the best build against other colors, she fulfills the green-killing role excellently and it's the one build she straight up does better than her younger counterpart. Plus a team is composed of 4 different units, and it can be better to give everyone their own specialized role instead of trying to make them good all-around. So I do sincerely believe this build works great for her, on the basis that Young Tiki can perform almost all other builds better. Also we can both be dragon masters. I'm pretty proud of my fondness for dragons, and am extremely invested in them. I run nothing less than 3 dragons in every GHB and Arena battle, even if it's not the best idea with my lineup of heroes. I even single-mindedly gave every single feather I had to Nowi since the beginning of the game, and finally managed to 40+10 her because I ignored everyone else and never did a single promotion except Anna/Sharena to 4*. So yeah, we can be dragon master buddies! I'm totally the superior dragon master though. My obsession with them beats all. Except when it comes to Ice Dragon and Ninian.

I mainly consider GTB a solid option because it prevents Adult Tiki from being doubled, which makes her tank the likes of a super-buffed Nino extremely well. Not to mention, Adult Tiki can also go on the offensive and one-round many of the threats instead of having to let herself be attacked first with QR. And yes, she does the job better than Young Tiki because of her superior innate Atk and Def stat. Young Tiki with TA3 and GTB will start to fail ORKOing a +Res Julia once she's 40+2, which isn't too rare if you have a bit of Skill Inheritance and a merged unit elsewhere on your team. Adult Tiki on the other hand shuts down Julia at any merge level with any kind of build (Except with a +Res 40+10 Warding Blow setup, and only when initiating against a neutral Adult Tiki, she will just barely survive with 4 HP) so she's a much safer bet. Her higher natural Def means Axe-users need 59 Atk to deal a single point of damage, and it makes her practically invincible against them. So yes, she handles greens extremely well with this setup and won't be impeded by Julia like Young Tiki potentially could be.

Oh, that's kind of a surprise. Well, I suppose art style is subjective and something I don't find too appealing might be another person's cup of tea. I can respect those that genuinely love her in-game art, although I personally prefer the way her Cipher artworks went about it. Ninian has hands down the best in-game artwork though, followed by Tiny Tiki. Either way though, I do agree that she simply has a different role. She's an excellent Reinhardt tank and tanks mages very gracefully, which is really amazing when combined with Lightning Breath+. Would use her myself but... too bad she just refuses to drop for me, because I've only got one 4* version of her after 2 months and then she never appeared again.

When a 4* non-SI Sharena is the best bonus unit you got...

I do feel her artwork is the worst though. Something about it just bothers me somehow. But back to the topic, I feel like TA + GTB/QR Adult Tiki is the best variation of her. Simply because she actually does it better than Young Tiki could, by securing Julia kills that her younger counterpart don't quite manage to make. Her speed also really doesn't matter at all against greens, because any axe-user needs 59 Atk to manage even a single point of damage against a neutral Adult Tiki and even the tome-users only do single digit damage until they hit 60 Atk or something. Basically, it's the one build she does better than Young Tiki, so if you don't want to simply have an inferior version of her younger self, it's the way to go. +Atk/+Res and -Spd are probably the best natures for this build, so what you have there even goes very well with it.
