  1. I don't follow Cipher streams, and had no idea they lasted that long. If those are really 20-30 minutes, then I suppose 10 minutes might not seem much in comparison. What do they even talk about, actually? That's a lot of time for a card game honestly speaking. And yeah, I'm hoping for something along those lines too. Would be nice if they threw in the upcoming Xander banner too, just because I'm really curious if Ryoma is in there.
  2. Well, I can't promise anything concrete, but it does sound like whatever they want to announce is going to be relatively important. It honestly wouldn't surprise me if they actually did get around to talking about the CYL heroes. And 10 minutes actually feels kinda long to me, considering it's going to be exclusively about FE:H. All the trailers we've gotten so far lasted around 1:30 minutes and the Fire Emblem Direct from several months ago (Which announced a whopping 4 new games and had tons of information) was barely 20 minutes long. Well, we'll see what information they cough up tomorrow.
  3. Oh, neat! Mind showing the image? I'm rather curious.
  4. I'm not sure if anyone posted this yet, but apparently we'll be getting a 10 minute livestream tomorrow about upcoming FEH content. Here's the link if anyone is interested, which should start streaming exactly 24 hours from when I made this post: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N9sxKsU_p8A
  5. I decided to roll for the lulz and then I immediately got the hero I wanted most in the game in my first pull - Another Young Tiki. Thank you Intelligent Systems. I'm sorry for ever doubting in your miracles. Also thank you to @MaskedAmpharos for inspiring me to try out the banner. I am so thankful to him right now.
  6. Well from what I can tell, here's how Ike compares to Ryoma, who pretty much has an identical sword: Ike +1 Hp +1 Atk -4 Spd +5 Def -3 Res So he's basically a bulkier Ryoma with slightly worse speed. He'll probably fare against other swordlords better than Ryoma could, while at the same being atomized by blue mages. I think I might actually not roll for him since I already have a +Spd/-Res Ryoma and he's slightly better when it comes to killing stuff.
  7. Ike's final stats are apparently: HP 39/42/45 ATK 32/35/38 SPD 28/31/34 DEF 29/32/35 RES 14/18/21
  8. From what I can tell, the various maps will not necessarily end if you kill everyone but Ike (And Titania later, because she becomes immortal too). You either have to last long enough or you need to kill enough of the reinforcements. I can't tell which at this point, but you basically have to keep fighting reinforcements for a while.
  9. So the new story map features: 1) Constant reinforcements 2) God Ike (He takes no damage and is basically completely immortal)
  10. Wait what. The Story Mode map literally just spawned like 3 more units out of nowhere after I killed a few. EDIT: AHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA IKE IS LITERALLY INVINCIBLE. HE CANNOT BE KILLED WHATSOEVER.
  11. Well back then base stat total mattered way more. So if you went high enough, Reinhardt simply couldn't keep up with the rest of the meta. Now that I think about it, that might be the primary reason he wasn't too popular back then. Using him meant a lower score even if he was good. By the time Inheritance rolled in, it took some time before people realized his stat total didn't matter anymore. At the very least, that's my guess. EDIT: Ike in 1 minute!
  12. My Nowi can massacre greens too Yeah, he's kind of an offensive monster. I think the primary reason he hasn't been placed in the absolute top tier is because he's relatively easy to kill on the defensive and can't really fight back if his life depended on it. Judging by the current heroes on the Inheritance Tier List, all the current S+ Tier hotshots are those that can be very punishing when being attacked (Effie/Hector/Nowi/Ryoma). I guess it makes sense since Reinhardt can kind of easily be played around on a map that give you enough space to do so. Still, his offensive might is indeed brutal and it almost convinces me that we need to get a Bravebreaker skill sometime. And maybe a Close/Distant Counterbreaker or something, because we're going to be seeing those a lot with Ike and Xander.... (And maybe CYL Roy too)
  13. The biggest mystery is how Spring Lucina ranks higher than him on the vanilla tier list. Was she really that good...?
  14. He's actually in S Tier now, at least on the wiki. Apparently Effie and Nowi still rank above him as S+. Honestly it feels like the Tier List places the greatest emphasis on heroes that are still massive threats while on the defensive. (Effie, Nowi, Hector, Ryoma are the S+ Tier folks)
  15. Probably because Inheritance wasn't a thing for a while and he was semi-forgotten by the time it rolled in.
  16. Reinhardt is already everywhere. If I didn't know any better I'd almost think he's the mascot of Fire Emblem.
  17. One more hour to Ike. I must say that I'm looking forward to the Ike infestation because Alm was honestly getting very annoying. My Nowi welcomes the flood of Ike(s) with open arms.
  18. In commemoration of Ike being released in 1 hour:
  19. Ah, I see. Well, as the sole flying mage in the game, -raven is indeed an amazing weapon on her. You can reduce archer damage without resorting to Iote's Shield while also granting her the ability to check half the game with amazing flexibility. 14 damage from a buffed Takumi is indeed really impressive, and I can see how it'd work so well. Also that explains a lot about the Tiki. Yeah, I'd definitely suggest running Ryoma over her because of how well he can counter green mages and also since he has really optimized stats to begin with (Amazing Atk+Spd). Meanwhile 9 Res almost sounds scary, but that's indeed a lot of HP. I can see how you manage to make him work, as one would presumably need 56 Atk to OHKO him with any kind of magical blow. Also Swap is an excellent movement assist, but I do recommend trying out Reposition as well. Reposition moves another unit a whole 2 spaces backwards while placing the user in front of them. If you have a tank, it's an excellent skill for saving some melee unit that performed an assassination. Not only will you have someone defending them, the 2-tile displacement will also make it less likely that some nearby mage will get funny ideas about trying to sneak a hit in on them.
  20. Hm... That's pretty scary actually. Spring Camilla already has a lot of mobility, and being able to single-handedly check two different colors does make her extremely useful. I would say that it was probably worth whatever resources you had to throw her way. I can definitely see her being worth her weight. Also Ryoma might be worth running over Tiki, since he deals physical damage and most mages tend to suffer from lower physical defense (Except the Robins). Does your Tiki have Lightning Breath+, or does her problem lie elsewhere? Also I'm surprised Virion can tank any kind of magical hit with that paper-thin Res of his. 13 Res at 40 is a very dangerous threshold, no matter how I look at it. His other stats do seem respectable though, so I can see why you'd use him.
  21. Yeah, I can definitely imagine it'd still be rather annoying. But for melee units especially, it becomes easy for them to be zoned because of that lava wall in the middle that allows enemy ranged units (or fliers) to reach them but not vice versa. At the very least, I tend to be forced to wait for the enemy team to swarm me before I can reliably start picking them off. Unfortunately I've been too focused on attaining my first 40+10 unit that I've completely neglected to try raising a variety of units, so I don't have any real fliers to work with. What team do you actually run? From what it sounds like, I'm assuming 2-3 greens, but that's just me making my own assumptions here.
