They increase your "build", whatever that means. I would assume that if someone had their build increased, they might be slower? bulkier

I found Mia to be the easiest one to level up. Maybe it's that you get her in so many chapters or something. Zihark I really had to push to keep him caught up. I wish he pwned as much in this game as he did in PoR

Statue Frag, an item that increases build by 2. (This is stupid because they don't even show Build in the stats anymore) I used this on Ike when he was a Vanguard, it appears to have made him slower. He only got one hit on the black knight in the endgame battle against him, and he was like level 17. I remember when I played it before he was level 10ish and he got 2 hits. What's with that?

Ike bro, definitely Ike. :P But if you're talking Myrdmidons/Swordmasters/Trueblades.... you can't go wrong with Mia, Zihark, or Edward. Edward will turn out best, but he's harder to level up. And I still love Zihark because of how much he pwned in PoR.

Yeah.... good luck with that - I wondered about it at some point (let me know if you can do it :D ). Rolf does not suck. Leonardo ain't bad either, he just sucks compared to Rolf and Shinon. If you think Rolf sucks, it's cuz you didn't use him enough. I vote Meg for the worst unit in the game though. :D

I know I got it somewhere other than Volke (because I didn't hire him, I like my money :D ) but I'm not sure if I got it in the sand.... My sothe I got to level 20 before he promoted and then got him up to level 15ish as a Whisper, he was pretty awesome with Baselard. Sure, he doesn't always kill on one turn but he's fast enough it doesn't matter, the enemies didn't get to him much. That being said, I never tried Volke. Cuz I'm a Sothe fan. B) P.S. Sothe with Baselard is perfect for killing the spirit thingies that you fight in the endgame.

Actually, I think On Glory's Wings would be way cooler if they just made it longer and more interesting. It loops the same 12 bars... and 4 of them are like the exact same. Oh well. :D They did a good job anyway.

I'd like to point out that "inproper" spelling too :P lol Oscar and Titania are my favies. :) Titania because she pwns right to the end if you use her, and Oscar because he surpasses her if you use him more than her. The other ones come too late to really get up there.

Marcia, but you have to put the work into her of course. :) Tanith comes in way overleveled, but is a good solution if you didn't work on Marcia.

How do the Promotions work again? I haven't played the classic fire emblems in a while.... very used to PoR and RD. Do you need an item otherwise it doesn't happen?
