So. Now that Echoes bombed in Japan, do you guys think that Avatars and Waifu mechanics will become even STRONGER then they are now? I hope so. It'd be the best.

I disagree. Severa with Astra is amazing.

I picked a boy in Conquest, and a girl in Birthright. Despite my yellow fever, Conquest has better waifu's, while Birthright has better husbando's.

I agree. The 3DS games are the best games in this series. (Save for Valentia.) It'd be foolish to not emulate those.

Good stuff like Avatars, Children, and S-Ranks. Children rock because you get total confirmation that you bang your waifu's. None of that cut to black shit. Also, from a gameplay standpoint, it's great, because it encourages minmaxing and other great things.

I disagree. Children are one of the best parts of newer FE games. It's part of why Echoes is gonna suck. They only tweaked it a little. They didn't add in any of the good stuff from newer entries.

Dude. There are a lot of people that are starting to defend the prequels, now that TFA is out. It's SICKENING.

The game hate cycle is very simple: If a new game comes out for a beloved franchise, it's instantly met with hatred and disgust. It's shit upon, it's flaws are dramatized, and its made out to be an abomination. Now. A few years pass. Another new title is released. Suddenly, the game that was hated becomes a beloved treasure! It's now considered a gem, and that the hate was taken too far. The new game is now shit on, and compared to the older game, and people act like the older game was fine all along. Lather, rinse, repeat. Sources Cited Page: The Zelda fanbase right now. The Fire Emblem fanbase when Fates was released and Awakening become a beloved game. The Star Wars fanbase when the Force Awakens was released.

I've talked about this with people on GameFAQ's, and I can almost guarantee that they were going for a "Tharja likes Robin because of Grima" thing.

I mean, On one hand, it'd make Corrin's dragon form more badass. On the other hand, it'd make the spellbooks that Nohrian Prince Corrin uses useless.
