I agree that I also am planning on buying some orbs one time, not due to the value proposition in game but because I want to support this game and the FE franchise more generally. As a longtime fan and now real person with a job, Fire Emblem games are actually the only games I still let myself play and no other titles gives me anything close to the same level of satisfaction. Hearing the backstory behind Awakening being the "final fantasy" of FE, I want to do what I can to help ensure there are more games in the future. That being said, it looks lately like the FE title release schedule has become really rapid and it may be, unfortunately, affecting the quality (petting house anyone?). Not that I care about one bad title, but like I'm sure everyone who is on this site, I'm cheering hard for their success for the sake of the titles yet to come.

So I started an alternative account this morning and realized that even new accounts get gauntlet bonuses. So all in, a new account currently gets 43 orbs right out of the gate. Even with the current banner not having an S tier focuses (maybe Ninian but seems doubtful) two full stack rolls is nothing to sneeze at. If you're looking to re-roll this could be a good time. or even maybe just start an alternative account and park it somewhere until a great banner comes around.

Yea realize that at higher levels in the current meta healers aren't that useful. However, if the balance shifts from the current kill-everything-in-two-turns dynamic, that might change.

Common refrain is that Lissa or Elise are top tier (for healers) but I was wondering if anyone has additional input as to others who are good/better or analysis generally? Personally, I think that if you're running a team with characters that need buffs (Nino or Tharja) Serra might actually be better, as she has Speed Balm plus Hone Attack. This would allow her to serve as a poor man's Eirika as well as heal.
