Edit: I just realized title said favourite band. Tough shit, I like them all. Its definitely between Will Wood, Mother Mother, Belle & Sebastian, Bahamas and Dodie though. Mother Mother - Ghosting is one of the best songs I have heard. Absolutely loved to stumble upon that one. Their other songs are pretty good too (although I have to be honest Ghosting is the only one i listen to regularly). Will Wood - Memento Mori: The most important thing in the world is my anthem and I only found it like a month or 2 ago. Absolutely amazing song. His other songs are really good and the lyrics I feel are well thought out. Fred Radix and Micheline Dax for when i want to practice whistling Dodie and Bahamas also get mentions, their sound is pretty great. And Bahamas killed it with his Sad Hunk album. And I don't want to make this too big, but Belle & Sebastian, Cavetown, Vulfpeck, Ace of Hearts, Tally Hall

Try the struggle for freedom mod! It is a mod that rebalances the entire game and makes it more challenging and interesting. It also changes some spells and techniques to make them more useful. For example Renew is now insta-cast, while still keeping its insane cost. Teleport stones are not that hard to get. Bats drop them like candy. And they are also rather cheap. Thats your fast travel option. Airships are basically that but completely free. Also, the original game was meant to be beaten with a guide I'm pretty sure. Most of the really good equipment is hidden in chests that no one would be checking. Or certain vendors changing their wares and having more useful stuff later. Honestly who would have gone right back to the start of the barheim passage to go talk to the merchant again... 😕 Not to mention their bazaar is quite useful but if you don't know what to sell most of the stuff you can get will be quite underpowered for that time in the story. Also Espers are one of those things that are hard at first, but once you know what they do they are a cakewalk. Except Zodiark. Dude just sneezes and boom 50% of death

I played the demo up to the bard fight yesterday. Played it on hard and I have to say I found the HP costs really good. The costs made sure i couldn't over use nukes without putting myself in danger or exhausting the healer. I was also really glad to find out they nerfed the stacking ability of debuffs and buffs which to me was one of the gripes i had with the last demo. I was also glad to see the addition of resource regen abilities. Having my Black mage or White mage regen mana after every turn was really good at letting them stay in the fight. I thought making it time of day dependent added a fun way of choosing when I tackle a dungeon. Overall i think they did a really good job in balancing the game and skills. Obviously i haven't played all of it, but i did like seeing a lot of the changes they made to the classes and I think it is quite the improvement over the last demo.

In previous games there is often a narrative where the hunting of monsters is done towards finding out what the cause of some event or series of events are [i.e. a very strong monster causing earthquakes]. And a lot of the hunts are in the way of preparing you for it or helping you investigate.

I thought it was the 'radical leftist' who were the only violent ones. Holy shit, America is in such turmoil, and it surprises me to read right supporters on reddit and other places act like this is justified. People like Ted Cruz are just as guilty of this whole mess. I'm so glad i don't live in the US anymore. Though it scares me that Canada might become like them in the future. For some reason, a lot of the bad ideas from America make their way over here, or at least people try to bring them here.

Does filibustering actually work for that case? I thought it was always used as a way to prevent voting on a bill a certain party or individual does not like.

Idk it felt pretty cheap to learn monk's fire debuff could be stacked allowing a party of 3 monks and 1 black mage to destroy the super bosses in the demo. Yeah I struggled with the bosses and i felt good when i managed to kill them. But it felt cheap to watch others breeze through a fight like that. Not saying the game shouldn't have cheese strats, but i am saying cheese strats should have at least some shortcomings. Or at least not make using other classes feel like you are actively shooting yourself in the foot (which can be fun in second or third playthroughs but a lot of people don't have time for that)

What spoiler are you talking about? I've never played the game but i don't really care about spoilers. Also Smash bros doesn't give a fuck about spoilers so even if i cared its too late with the new stage

I think it might have been Nussschnecke! It was from a bakery close to the university, and i can't quite remember if they sold it elsewhere. I can't remeber the taste, but i do remember thinking it tasted wonderful with the coffee. I got the picture from the google maps spot of the bakery, though i couldn't get the name. The bakery was called Der Beck if you are curious I hadn't thought to google the name and i couldn't find the website button on the little google maps section. But i just did and I think it might be a Mohnschnecke

When i was in Bamberg Germany, i used to get this (well i think this is the one) pastry all the time with coffee and i absolutely loved it. I think the name was a Mossdecka or something like that but i guess its not cause the name doesn't bring anything that looks like it. I also don't know if this is the one, but i'm hoping the name i typed might sound like something similar. I'm pretty sure the picture is very similar to it, if it isn't the pastry itself. Also it does look a bit like a pretzel but i'm almost sure it wasn't a pretzel...? it tasted very different from what i remember.

I guess there would be nothing wrong, but some of the comments that you've made about women make it sound like they are nothing but a sexual object. Now honestly i could be misreading this here, but if that is the case and also outwardly you are portraying this to the women you are interested in, it might explain the issues you are having. Your problems might in all fairness just be about how to approach women with the topic of sex. But honestly, I feel like you just need to get out of your head and become more comfortable with the topic of sex. How do you bring it up? You can just ask you know.

I mean this problem might really only exists in monogamous contexts. If its even really a problem for everyone who is very monogamous. There are people out there who like to have lots of casual sex when single, but can be very serious about monogamy when in a serious romantic monogamous relationship (I have a few friends with whom this is the case). Also this view seems to ignore poly-amorous, and open relationships. Which if you want to pretend like they don't exist that is fine but you are ignoring the experience of a lot of people out there. While I would agree that casual sex is not for everyone, I do heavily disagree with the idea that sex should not happen between people who have an emotional connection that is not based on a romantic love. The idea that sex can only be had by people who are either A)there to only satisfy a basic need and then gtfo never talk again or B)interested in forming a strong romantic relationship is rather narrow minded and misguided. It seems to ignore a lot of the different experiences and the way many people actually have sex in favour of some religious or moral principles that, at least in my view, are misguided. Also yes, there are a lot of people who need an emotional connection to have sex, but there is also a lot of people who don't need it or want it for one reason or another. Aromantic people who have sex exist, for example.

You don't need to tie game exploration to pokemon movesets. There are many ways to tie exploration based on how far you are in the story or how experienced the in game character is. HMs aren't even necessary in giving your own pokemon an extra sense of utility. For example, if you wanted your party pokemon to be able to open up exploration you could allow badges to just unlock the player character to be able to command or teach pokemon how to use their special attributes to help in map exploration. For example, you could say, use cut without it being taught to a pokemon by having said pokemon use its claws or something to cut a tree. This hardly needs to be attached to a move that must be learned and use up your limited moveset of 4. Imagine your charmander using its tail to light up a cave. Or the bulbasaur line using razor leave to cut the small trees. It is dumb to think a Lapras needs to be taught how to surf in order for it to carry individuals across a body of water. None of the HM moves are things that need to be actually taught because there is already a myriad of moves that could in theory do the very same thing. I struggle to see the need for moves that just get in the way. Restricting exploration with story progression is something that can be done more than one way.

Spanish is my native tongue. I was born in Colombia and my family lived there for my first 10 years, so I picked it up naturally. I still remember it and speak it, although with a somewhat diminished skill for grammar and spelling since I don't get too much practice in it. I started learning English when my family moved to the US. Its been the main language i use since i was about 12, given that i resided in the US and then moved to Canada. I seem to make most people think English is my first language. Only a few people seem to catch onto my slight accent. I kinda wish i had more of an accent nowadays though. When I was younger i used to get mocked for it and wanted it to stop. But now every time i hear a spanish accent it sounds so good, i wish i spoke like that a little more. I've also learned a bit of Italian during my High School years, but stopped pursuing it sometime after. I also learned some German, mainly as a way to go to Europe during my University years. Although I also really like how German sounds. The memes don't do it justice. But I did stop after reaching intermediate level. Mainly because writing complex essays and learning more and more complex grammar is very tedious. That applies to languages in general, not just German. Though i would certainly like to have more practice speaking both Italian and German

Usually go with the male avatar. Only ever go with the female avatar if I have played through the game before and decided to go with the other avatar for a change or if i dislike the male avatar design. For example, i hate M!Byleth's hair and don't have many complains about F!Byleth so i choose F!Byleth. As for why, its mostly because I like playing with male avatars more than female avatars. There might be deeper reasons for it, but i don't really care. I just know that I like playing with male avatars.
