I pretty much like everyone post-skip except Ingrid. Shame because she was one of my favorites before. Sylvain is a bit of downgrade too. I also liked Ferdinand with shorter hair, but he still looks good. All in all I'm really impressed with the variety of designs and that they made characters I was really iffy on a lot cooler looking. Some of my favorites are Hubert, Bernadetta, Caspar, Felix, Lysithea, and Leonie.

There's some really interesting information in some of these. Ingrid doesn't like the people of Duscur, so does she get along with Dedue? Felix apparently has lost respect for Dimitri for some reason recently. Man, the blue lions have some tensions between people already.

Sounds fine to me. If I actually used amiibo, this would be the kind of thing I'd want.

I'm very excited about fishing. Also really enjoying the villains + Lysithea's design, I echo the sentiment to see if scythes are their own weapon type.

Pretty excited. Not as much as I was for echoes, but I definitely plan on getting it. The leaks and official site posts recently starting up has also hyped me up a lot more.

The more "leaks" they say the more I tend to doubt them, due to how specific and weird some of them are. Especially since in the beginning they made a point about not revealing story elements, then did so with Dimitri and Lysithea, and seem really biased towards those characters and Claude. As for if the leaks themselves, I like most of them if they are true. 4 non-converging routes would be great, and different characters in all 4 is even better. World building and darker story is also welcome. I guess we'll know soon enough if they're real or not.

Preferably no one, but Anna coming back would be okay with me, I guess. I'd rather just have each game separate unless there's a plot related reason to have them connect. I really disliked the awakening characters in Fates.

Black Eagles: Pros: - Edelgard is probably my favorite of the three lords. - Enjoy all of her party members revealed so far besides Linhardt (Especially Ferdinand, Bernadetta, and Caspar) Cons: - I really dislike Linhardt's hair. - Dorothea's hat is so out of place to me. Blue Lions: Pros: - Favorite set of characters by far. There isn't anyone on this team I dislike. - Lances are my favorite Fire emblem weapons so I'm happy about a playable lance lord. Cons: - Dimitri is my least favorite lord design wise, but he is by no means bad. Golden Deer: Pros: - Claude is good. - Raphael and Leonie are good. I enjoy Raphael's shirt too lmao Cons: - I'm not sold on the other party members until I can see their portraits.

I really hope Soldiers and Halberdiers return. It always a let down when they're not playable. As for lesser used classes, I hope summoners and bards return as well. I'm really excited for new classes. With the church theme Templars and Paladins could be cool additions. I also really want to see what new classes use the gauntlet weapon class.

I don't get why people are okay with the inclusion of dark-skinned characters but ONLY it it's an entirely new character. What character development was there for Boey or Gray even was there in the first place? A few lines of dialogue from a game in the early nineties that never left japan? I can't possibly imagine you were so attached to the writing of the original gaiden's portrayal of them (or lack of) that it really matters that much. Like, if IS was like, yeah Gray is no longer a playable character. Here's Alm's new friend, Ched. He has the portrait that Gray has now in echoes. His growths are incredibly similar to Gray's. He's a new character. People would just be mad Gray got removed. If you add too many characters, people will also think you're messing with the original too much. Or the balance of the game will be messed up. Its just waaaay easier to edit existing characters that had nothing to their name besides like one piece of official art. Personally, I just like seeing a variety of characters because it makes the cast more memorable to me.

Has Clair's character been changed at all? Since she was originally the one who liked Alm but could never date him, and they gave that to Faye, I'm hoping she'll be different personality wise.

I'm fine with minimal supports, as long as they're interesting and aren't too joke-y. I'm really looking forward to seeing a lot of the ones that were confirmed, like Mycen's with Alm. (I know I could probably find them somewhere but I'm waiting until release) As for length, I'm fine with it as I'm hopeful the base conversations will help add to the cast. I think too little is better then too much in this case, anyways, as otherwise characters become too focused on one or two things, like some of the characters in previous titles.
