Managed to beat it on the first try with Spring Camilla, Cordelia, Tharja and Eirika. Was still pretty easy but certainly more fun/challenging than the last couple battles have been. Camilla flew up and hit Camus but couldn't one shot him, then got dragged back by Cordelia. Camus moved toward me on the left and Camilla finished him and Cordelia pulled her out of the red mage's range. Eirika/Tharja blocked and cleaned up the other units easily as they moved in.

Guess I'll post my hero merit page too. 1. Tharja: My first promoted 5* and I love her. Love her character, and she's an amazing unit as well. She's been a core arena team unit for what feels like ages now and is always my first pick for a red unit for anything. 2. B Camilla: She's almost never left my main team ever since I got her. Camilla's one of my favorite characters, and luckily B Camilla is a fantastic unit unlike regular Camilla(who I still like, B Camilla's taken her slot now). 3. Eirika: She used to be a core arena unit and was amazing with Tharja, but sadly I always have to drop her for the bonus unit these days. She still sees a ton of use in the training tower buffing units I'm leveling, and in GHB where I want to super buff Tharja. 4. Cordelia: My favorite FE character, and an amazing unit on top of it. She's been my go-to blue since I got her. (plus my Reinhardt is -atk so he doesn't see the light of day in arena) 5. Olivia: I don't really like her(mainly because I don't like her art, not her character), but she's all I have as a dancer. Honestly she's still 3* and I just use her when training units in the tower. Peri and regular Camilla would be very high on the HM list too if hero merit had been a thing since the start of the game. I haven't used them much in a while, aside from when I do the Cav/flier quests and throw them in, but they used to be my staple green and blue units. They served me well for a long time before Cordelia and B Camilla came along. Back when everyone used to make fun of Camilla's damage she was putting in serious work in the arena for me, and Peri did a great job at exactly what I needed her for- eliminating mages and red swords.

I have no doubt we'll get a banner with them around the game's release. I don't think there's really any chance of Heroes characters making it into Warriors, though.

I like that I caused some discussion about Beruka. It's just a shame that Michalis just plain outperforms her in most cases(the +0 vs +10 Rein thing, while impressive, is a pretty out-there situation) at doing her best job. With both using Killer+(Hauteclere)/Bonfire with QR and Distant Counter, Michalis still nets more kills doing the same build, and if Beruka's +atk/-spd he has less losses as well.(without flier buffs, and with flier buffs they're about the same) I think I prefer the idea of +def/-res on her. She gets about the same amount of kills, in both flier buff and non-flier buff situations as with +atk, and when without buffs she survives quite a few more things. Saying she can survive a bit better outside of flier buffs isn't much of a case, but at least it's something I guess. I don't know if I'd say dealing with Beruka's situation is easier or harder than Camilla, who also happens to be a favorite of mine, and who's similarly an outclassed axe flier(by Cherche). She's still getting the special treatment from me when she comes along though, 'cause fuck it I still like her.

This is how I feel about Beruka. I still haven't managed to pull her, and she's basically a shitter Michalis in every way, but I'll probably 5* and SI her when she finally shows up, even if she just sits in my barracks afterwards.

I conclude Genny is shit in this game because she doesn't say "I'm ready to roll!"

Yeah, so it's not really worth worrying about I guess. And while I'd like to use Beruka in the future (if I can ever pull her) I'd probably use another skill for the A slot anyway. Just bugs me to throw away a rare skill. At least it's not as useless as Grani's shield will be.

Is there ANYbody who would really like to inherit Iote's Shield? I ask because I'm considering sacrificing my second Michalis to B Cordelia for Threaten Def, but I feel bad "wasting" an otherwise pretty exclusive skill. Aside from Michalis himself, I can only think of maybe Catria for being tanky and letting her shrug off arrows? I already know the consensus is it's kind of a "why bother" skill, but I want to double check before losing it. I'd try to just wait for a 4* Peri to rip Threaten Def off of, but I've been rolling almost nothing but blues (and of course colorless on this banner) for weeks and haven't seen another one, so I don't think I should hold my breath. I don't want to wait that long to deck out my waifu. I could just not give her Threaten Def, but that def drop seems to net her quite a few more kills she would miss otherwise. My Cordelia is also +res/-def so it's also a bit for compensation for not being +atk. Second question: Is there a help line for feather withdrawal? Because I'm gonna need it after spending 20k to 5* Klein for his Brave Bow and 20k on Hana for LaD 3, thus using all my feathers for skills instead of new 5* units, again. But I can't stop. Cordelia must become even more perfect!

I left quite a few of the monthly quests that just give crystals for doing lunatic story chapters and stuff. I probably should have done them all since I've been using a lot of crystals to get skill fodder to 20 for upgrading lately..

I like the idea of it, but sadly most of the units I've gotten to 40 had awkward/odd/cringy dialogue instead of something more pleasant.

That's just truly astounding. But at least you got her! I finally got Cordelia. Instead of waiting for the June quests I was impatient and did some minor whaling. $50 and I got +res/-def Cordelia and +hp/-spd Lyn. Not an ideal Cordelia with making her defense go from glass to paper, but it's not -atk or -spd so I'm satisfied enough. Lyn's stats seem like possibly the worst she could get, but Lyn's not somebody I care much about so I'm not too bothered. I still have some orbs left and I'll probably use the rest of them and the June quests trying for Charlotte and a possibly better Cordelia/Lyn. I also want to note that I'm amazed with the tons of colorless orbs I rolled today that I STILL never saw a Setsuna or Kagero, the only non-5* colorless units I've actually been trying to get still. Just a shitload of Niles, Wrys, Giaus, Lyssa and VIrions. BUT, at least I did roll a 4* Klein on my last colorless orb of the day, which is exactly what I needed to maybe give Cordelia a brave bow+ later.

I went to the roll simulator just for fun to see how long it would take to roll a Cordelia there. Let's just say I feel even worse about my luck today than I did while rolling for real. You'd think I broke a mirror or something earlier looking at that.

I still think it's funny I actually guessed Charlotte correctly. I thought, this is a perfect fit for her character as a gold digger, but they probably won't actually do it. If I wasn't gunning so hard for Cordelia first I'd roll blues trying to get her too. I never saw her coming as a bride, and they made me go from a banner I thought I'd pass (barring if they put in Charlotte) to wanting to full-on whale. It was a very long time before I even pulled a normal Cordelia, and I hope my luck is a lot less dismal for this one. I'll be really sad if I can't pull her in time.

I was pure F2P until I tried to baby whale (75 orbs for $40) for Azura during Hero Fest and I still didn't get her. I got a +spd/-hp Hector instead. I'll only consider money at all if it's a limited banner with something I really want (like Cordelia now) or an especially good chance to blow orbs like Hero Fest was. I'm really hoping the orbs from the June quests give me a change of luck, and same for you. I really don't care about wedding stuff in general, but I just can't pass up trying for this Cordelia.

Spent my 40 free orbs I had plus bought $20 worth (35) more and got nothing but garbage. Got lots of colorless and sniped only those, but too bad they had nothing good in them. A bunch of 3* Gaius, Clarine, Felica and Niles for the most part. Couldn't even get Setsuna, Rebecca, Kagero or Klein that I've never rolled. Really upset with myself for rolling on Celica's banner. I used about 60 orbs on it thinking I wouldn't care about the bride banner and I wanted to get Mae and Celica. I got neither, and now they put out a limited Cordelia for this. I wanna die. Somebody please send me money to whale,

Holy shit I actually called it with Charlotte! I'm super pissed though. I really hoped it would just be Lyn, maybe Eirika and 2 grooms so I could maybe pass on this banner and keep saving orbs for a change. But now they put in Charlotte AND CORDELIA? FUCK Edit: Now that I've calmed down, I can add to my post. Sorry to all the female players that wanted husbandos I guess. Honestly surprised there's no grooms. If a banner like the bunny banner got male characters I figured they'd do so here too. And aside from Lyn with her staff and new skill seeming interesting, none of these units have really stand out new skills/weapons to me. Well, I guess that's a lie since rally spd/atk on Cordelia looks pretty cool alongside -blade tome users.

I'm pretty sure it was on purpose. I think pairings in Vietnamese lithographs are a much more serious matter.

Screw Eirika, this is what I need that right silhouette to be.

I'd think they'll still put 2 males in to pander to the female playerbase they have. 4 brides seems like a bit overkill, but who knows. If they were going to do a special banner without any males I'd of thought it would be the bunny banner, but they didn't.

I'd laugh if the right silhouette is actually Camilla. And my orbs would cry.

17. I was close to hitting 18, but without Ike for the bonus hero slot like I had the first week of the new system, I can't get a high enough team rating for higher point matches. I was getting 890-896 point matches with Ike, but with 5* Xander (with QR2, so not maxed out in point value) as my bonus unit I'm getting 884-886 matches only. It's a shame that's pretty much the sole reason I didn't hit 18 last week, and I won't be moving up this week either.

Clearly looks like Lyn on the left. The right one looks like that might be just the outline of the veil rather than hair, but going by the bow and what looks like a staff it might be Elise. Edit: Just noticed how yeah it might be a spoon. Honestly, it might be Eirika now that I think about it. If it is that makes my guess earlier 2 for 2!

It's pretty hard choice for me. I think I like more of the characters in Celica's army, but Alm has a much more balanced cast to play with. Celica feels overpopulated with mercs and mages, and Alm's got a more rounded mix of everything. Celica has more varied maps, but at the same time some of those are a slog with the desert and swamp terrain often in the way. Meanwhile Alm mostly gets big, open and boring fields to play on. I guess I'll go for Alm, even though I dislike his boring maps more than I'm frustrated by Celica's sloggy ones. His side of the story feels a bit more solid and it's fun to utilize the more diverse cast. I stil love Mae, Sonya, Saber and the whitewings on Celica's side, though. They did a good job making both paths pretty equally fun. If only Alm had less plain (in both meanings) maps it'd more strongly lean to his side for me.
