That's surprising, but it was kinda needed. Colorless was quite disappointing with the same units over and over. We knew that since the seasons were revealed. I'm more surprised about how seasons stack. January is an all Earth month (Grima should be the colorless unit there). December has 3 Fire units out of 4. Next month looks like a pass for me. I hope Flier Olivia or Green Olwen are not in it so I can skip it and focus on the Halloween banner.

I've been focusing on completing my catalogue, so the units I wish to summon are probably not because of power but because I'm missing them. Top Wants As a general norm, I don't pull on new heroes banners. I focus on reruns so I can be sure that the units are not being demoted or hype doesn't get the best out of me. Alm I wasn't lucky with Alm on his first rerun and the second was a nightmare with 4 red focus so I skipped it. Saber Has never been rerun Luke Has never been rerun Amelia Pulled for her on 3 banners but no luck yet. Zelgius Pulled for him on 3 banners but missed him too. Lute Wasn't lucky during her legendary rerun. Hoping that changes during the ploy skill banner. Bownoka and Maribelle Decided to skip their reruns as they will show up on future legendaries, hopefully alongside other units I want. I really hope VG are going to be monthly events again. I enjoy those. I have no clue on what the VG could be about though. PA vs Summer dancers could be a possibility, but I'm not sure if they will go for that.

Why couldn't there be a version update on the 21st? What does the special orb promo has to do with it? I'm not sure we have two more chapters left story wise for Book II, but I could be wrong. If Book II ends on the 21st, then next month could be as packed as this one. So double hype.

The new calendar is quite exciting. We might see the end of Book II (New heroes on the 14th) and the start of Book III with the new banner on the 21st. Version 3.0 should be released alongside Book III so the theories around beast units being added are quite possible. It's either that or a banner with the OC from book II (with the FB expanding on why they decided to join us) with Veronica as the GHB and Hrid as the Legendary. Either way, I'm pretty excited.

I love speculating about Legendary banners. IS always surprises me in one way or another with those. I like your line up, except that I think it's too soon for Maribelle. They could put Jaffar in there instead of her. He is the last colorless unit left to be rerun, right? I was hoping for Karla + VIke + Bridal Tharja for reds, but it looks like Brave Roy will be in it since Lancina was on the previous one. If he takes the spot of Karla, then I might skip this banner and aim for the next one.

Basicaly, we are going to fight them with our current anti meta units. My red that can kill GrimaM and LHector should have no problem with Ephraim, my green who destroys Hardin should be able to deal with Hector, and so on. They have their own stats and skills that make them not carbon copies, but they are not different enough from the current top tier units to interest me. If I already invested on Hardin, Ayra, LHector and Elise/Maribelle I see no reason to invest in the new units.

It doesn't help that the units from this CYL2 are variations of the current top units. Lance Hector is a slightly different Hardin, Axe Ephraim is a slighly different Hector, Celica is a slightly different Ayra/Karla/Mia, and Veronica is an Elise/Maribelle with a prf weapon. They didn't have to make anything special like a new combination of weapon+movement type for me to feel more exciting, just something that would have a niche of their own, not one already found on top tier units.

So you are basically demoting 53 units from the 5* pool. That would mean that the 3-4* would have around 160 units. If right now pulling a specific unit is less than 1% (which means less than a 5* focus unit in a 3 unit banner), with the changes the it would go down to 0.625%, less than pulling a specific 5* in a Legendary banner. Be prepeared to +10 Gunnthrá before you see enough Libra to make it +10. Those who have their core units at +7-8 better pray to the RNGesus or hope for 5* pitty breakers of their liking.

That's a really tricky question. I think there hasn't been many occasions were I got what I wanted right away, mostly because I tend to go for multiple characters when I decide to commit on a banner. Here are my most memorable moments. - Getting an off banner Ephraim as a free pull. Totally not who I expected, but a nice surprise. - Getting Inigo as the free summon on the PA banner. - Getting Shigure right after Inigo on that same session ( 2 five stars for 4 orbs? I'll take it!!) - Getting all four dancers in 70 orbs after that initial summoning session (yes, Sigure and Inigo showed up again, plus a wild Titania). - Getting both S! Robin and S! Tiki on the same session. Take that desire factor! - Getting H! Nowi right after Lyn broke my pitty rate. - Getting Julia, Ike and Genny within 40 orbs on the second HF. - Getting an off banner Hinoka right after getting B! Cordelia on the previous session.

I'm a collector, so my top priority is getting the units I'm missing (30 or so). But if I were to list my top 10 it would be: Ryoma Amelia Innes Young Tiki Linde Sigurd Jaffar Faye Leo Elincia

Two days ago I had over 280k feathers that I was saving for when I had the time to train units (TT takes so much time that I can't do anything else). After the TT ended I used close to 200k to promote my last GHB units (Clarisse, Legion, Berkut, Navarre, Narcian, and Valter) and moved on to my third project (first one was promoting the initial trio, second one all the GHBs): promoting all the units that can't be pulled at 5* aka the ones that can be pulled as 3*. Promoted Donnel, Saizo, MRobin, and Palla. I'm saving the remaining feathers (80k+) for when I finish raising the new units to lvl 40. Next buch of promotions will probably be Arvis, Frederick, Virion and Felicia.

This gacha system won't be sustainable for long. The lack of new 3* and the exponential increase of the 5* and 4* pool will reach a point where pulling for something other than the focus units would be a miracle. I would prefer a second permanent banner with the regular units (the ones from release) on it. They could have no focus, just have the 5* at 6% rate. No changes would be made to this banner at all during a year or so, unless some kind of promotions in special dates (decreased pulling costs during Black Friday or something, or even the one cheaper pull per day other gachas use). The event banner then would have a similar sized pool of characters but constantly changing. The new ones could stay as 5* only, but other 5* and 4* (maybe 3* too?) would include characters from previous banners. For example, if the current focus is from FE99, then previous FE97-99 characters could appear too. Those other characters could share a colour or not with the focused units, so fishing for a certain character could be more or less rewarding, depending on what IS wants. This also helps with the current demoting process. Right now, we don't know what characters will stay as 5* and what will be demoted. Fishing for a certain character with hundreds of orbs, just to get them in multiples next banner as a 4* is not satisfying. A system like this will make those characters rarer, as they won't show up right after or again for a while, and when they do, is for a limited time, so pulling from a focus banner would be seen with better eyes.

You are assuming that the daily orb quest for arena will continue, and as far as we know, that event ends tomorrow. We don't know if they will give us another way to get orbs daily after that.
