  1. young tiki IS popular, but i think she was young in this game specifically because SD needed charactesr and young tiki is Pretty Important. This is more than you can say for the bulk of SD's cast.
  2. Tiki-A would probably require a different moveset if implemented. But she wasn't that unpopular, for the record. On Awakening's (japan only) poll she ranked 4th or 5th in the women's bracket. The developers were also surprised to see Adult Tiki being much more popular than Young Tiki on the first CYL poll for Heroes.
  3. Tiki-A is the dream, Nowi is the grim harsh reality we will inevitably stumble towards
  4. In my make believe universe where we get a second wave of DLC there is more than one new moveset per pack. Donnel would probably have a "wacky" lance moveset like Lissa has a wacky Axe moveset, for example. Nowi's dragon could be the cool sea weed dragon and use a different moveset since that thing isnt swiping with big ol' claws Walhart...well, i dont know, i'm sure there's ways to make him do crazier things than frederick. Probably throw around axes or something. Gangrel...would be a sword...so maybe we avoid him. There's too many of those. Ironically I'd be okay with him being a variant on Chrom, get that ol' dark mirror thing going. I don't think Vaike would get in, necessarily, but he'd work too. Finally use the framework of the NPC axes to some use.
  5. Promote Virion so he can be a bow knight. Donnel *deeply bitter sight* Nowi If we want to dip into villains we could also have Gangrel & Walhart. Aversa would be cool too, flying mage moveset
  6. Gunter would be cool since then they could have another person to make evil instead of just Robin/Grima The only SD people I'd ever want would be Camus and Lorenz. And the only reason I want Lorenz is because i want draug to stop being the go-to armor unit.
  7. There's been all of 2 directs, though. It was mentioned at reveal, obviously, and then had all of like 1 minute in the last one where they cheekily revealed the date then moved on. I'm not 100% sure but I don't think it was in the Japanese direct? All other content has just been released on koei's youtube or the famitsu articles.
  8. I'm specifically talking about history mode, sorry I didn't make this clear.
  9. Sure but it's still "new" and it pays for a port to advertise all the things. Look at all these things! Wow! Jampacked in here and available soon! Wowee!
  10. It will never happen because of how they implemented staves (which, long term, for the better to be sure), but I do kind of wish we had a crazy staff moveset. We have all kinds of crazy staves in the series that it'd be fun to fling around things. And we even have generic, non-thwacking, staff attacks thanks to heroes!
  11. The SD DLC pack introduced 2 concepts I'd like to see better implemented to help spice things up in a future game 1. Sub missions that raise supports if you complete them. I thin kI've seen 3 or 4 of these, but I'd like them to be more widespread going forward. While they're not required, I find they help spice up the fight especially since they tend to appear while you're putting out fires elsewhere and the villagers wont last too long. 2. Enemies with effective weaponry. I've only seen like...2...of these. Maybe 3? And they only ever summon one unit. I'd like to see this concept become a little more common and not just limited to one (1) unit. Just to add a little more danger and variety to the maps. Also gives more use cases for using Iote's Shield, and that's nice. Enemies with Breaker weapons could also work. Again not too common because then you just run into the issue of it being overbearing. All the archers everywhere can be kind of annoying, to put it another way. As for a general purpose thing, I'd like to see dragon veins be used to change up the battlefield more. Add/take away environement chunks, affecting morale (like the ryoma battle), things like that. Something to be cognizant of and to add some pressure to making sure your forts and such are defended properly.
  12. yeah i doubt it will ever happen again. And now we get variants in the permanent banner!
  13. I think one of the DLC packs for one of HW got a direct trailer but I might just be confusing that with, like, an overview trailer released elsewhere. HW is getting more coverage because there's more things to cover. It's been alternating between HW & FEW where applicable in Famitsu and of course the upcoming "new" game is going to get more trailers because there's more things to show.
  14. The Nohr/Hoshido costumes are also pretty different. It's not like they just, for isntance, pallet swapped the Male's Nohr to be white. I could easily see Chrom getting any of his heroes attire. I think it'd be fun if all the awakening costumes were from heroes, actually. Spring Chrom, Summer Frederick & Christmas Lissa
  15. I have to assume there was some major glitch that suddenly delayed things. The heroes maps were likely planned for at least a little while and the delay was so sudden they had to push out an update to remove them. The dummy update might have been a remnant of that too, something pushed out accidentally when removing it off the servers.
  16. I am honestly a little surprised we didn't get Nowi as a clone. She would have mapped pretty well to Tiki's set and just done minor touch ups to the dragon form's model to make it more sea dragon like, like what heroes did
  17. meanwhile we have 9 swords in the base game, with 3 more added in the dlc. but a 5th lance user? A unique archer? Perish the thought! Hooo boy I can't wait for them to talk about who they passed over in the awakening dlc for making Olivia the unique unit. going to lose my mind
  18. Dull Ranged doesn't feel like THAT amazing a skill. I mean its pretty good, but, I don't know, doesn't seem on the level as other hot commodity B Skills
  19. I'd be pretty surprised if Female morgan dropped considering she has 3 full skill sets. I don't think there's ever been a character with 3 skills who dropped...I mean I guess there's a first time for everything, but...
  20. Speaking of I wonder when they'll ever get around to giving us another archer. Assuming they dont get another personal weapon, I expect they'd have Guard Bow. Then again after Rhajat finally gave us Keen Gronwolf I expect them to add Keen Blarwolf but instead we got an...entirely new generic tome for some reason??? *sigh* i just wish they'd have a nice big batch of riff raff to help add more generic weapons to the pool....maybe for the second anniversary : (

  22. they should start giving valors (beyond sword, which has baffling been the one exception to the point of doing it TWICE) to normal units and let future seasonal units start having crazier valor. Horse valor! Flier valor! Dragon Valor! Armor. Infantry?!
  23. I'm looking at her eyes but that's not the exalt mark. Those are just her pupils. Compare Lucina's eyes with Morgan's https://d1u5p3l4wpay3k.cloudfront.net/feheroes_gamepedia_en/1/19/Full_Portrait_Morgan_(F).png?version=86018dd50103b6047d141c534c2eb086 (large resolution) There is a lot more to the mark of the exalt that is not in either of Morgan's eyes
  24. There are reasons to delay a game than just localization. Filling release schedules, for example. The point of bringing up famitsu is that's how they have been advertising the DLC, which usually runs in the magazine 1-2 weeks (exact dates escape me) before release, giving details on what will be in it. The official site also updates before hte DLC drops. And also, you konw, both of these things give a date ahead of time Dropping the DLC on monday, with no further information on it, out of nowhere is almost certainly not going to happen. Why heroes would break trend like this, who knows for sure, maybe they just wanted to run them earlier in the month, maybe some scheduling miscommunication took place. But if it was meant for Monday they should have had a famitsu *this week* for it at the very least and updated the website as well
  25. Monday as in this monday? I don't think there's a chance of that. Famitsu didn't have any feature on it this month and dropping it with no lead up at all would be baffling.
