  1. Tiki's got the multiplier right now, so we'll more then likely get it next hour and win as a result.
  2. Honestly, I'm starting to lean towards this mentality too. If IS doesn't have a problem embracing anarchy by reducing the multiplier threshold to about a tenth of what it was, then why should I? Salt Corn for everyone!
  3. Edit: Forum, it'd be nice you'd stop having a seizure.
  4. The multiplier itself is unchanged as far as I'm aware but the threshold for when it activates was changed. There now only needs to be somewhere around a 1% difference between the two teams for it to activate instead of 10%.
  5. Ah, my mistake then. I couldn't tell that was supposed to be a joke.
  6. Other way around, mate. Gaius was the one who got beaten into the ground. Even though the multiplier threshold was at the 10% point difference for that gauntlet, I want to say that Gaius had the multiplier for at least 75% of that round. At least it felt like he did at any rate.
  7. Uhhhhhhhhhhhhh............. *Tybrosion.exe has crashed* Maybe this is a sign that I should summon at four in morning more often! Though this is the second time my rate on Performing Arts got reset by an off-banner 5* exclusive green (Julia and now Hector, who's +Spd/-HP by the way). Oh well, if that's the cost of finally getting Hector before getting even a single Sheena no less then so be it. Oh, and that 4* Tharja was the second one of the day as that's what my free pull from the M&M BHB banner got me.
  8. Eh, Alfred said it best: "Some men [and/or women in this case] just want to watch the world burn." Personally, an all-Corrin final wouldn't kill me as I don't hate them but hopefully it won't come to pass for your sake.
  9. I suppose if they actually are an android, we'd be more shutting them down as opposed to killing them. Anyways, I'll leave my info here for all the new F!Corrin people in case you wish to add me. Name: Tybrosion ID: 0085075948 Lead: Ryoma
  10. @Arcanite You kinda had this coming once you said the following: Tempting fate is never a wise idea.
  11. There’s also 8 orbs total that can be gotten from the next rounds, so there’s also that.
  12. That wasn't where I was going with that, but sure. It was just a dumb joke involving a stolen crit line that also doubles as a SpongeBob reference I guess.
  13. Fae (to Ninian): "You stupid bully!" *Meanwhile over at Nowi vs. A!Tiki* Nowi: "Hm. I don't know why, but I want to kick Fae's butt tomorrow."
  14. Shit, I didn't think F!Corrin would get the multiplier again and I'm all out of flags. Oh well, this essentially means Sophia's doomed to lose then at least not that the results of this gauntlet matter in any way since it's been reduced to a clusterf*ck of multipliers and random chance. Also, is a FE7 character seriously going to get screwed over again? I wanted to avoid saying anything of the kind, but the damn multiplier should've been killed off at least two gauntlets ago. But no, IS just had to go and break things even further, even in spite of Lyn's undeserved loss last time. As some others have said, being a more popular character is now a detriment in a mode that's supposed to be a popularity contest just because some crybabies couldn't handle watching Lucina and Camilla fairly crush their favorites. What's even the damn point anymore aside from feathers?
  15. I do like how the official score tracker is apparently still coded to show that a given character is "weaker" when the lead difference percent is 10% or greater even though it now takes far less than that to trigger the multiplier. F!Corrin mostly certainly has a multiplier right now contrary to what it says and I assume that Adult!Tiki does as well. Anyways, can we just rename this mode Chance Time now? It now contains as much bullshit and anarchy as a typical CT in a given game of Mario Party with the new multiplier threshold. Seriously, aside from being a feather dispensary, what's even the point of the VG existing anymore now if the winners of each round are now essentially picked at complete random?
  16. It's probably supposed to have the "if unit's HP is greater than or equal to 50%" caveat that Dazzling Staff 2, Armor March 2, etc. have but of course I can't actually confirm this. That's the only change from Hardy Bearing 1 to Hardy Bearing 2 that would make sense at any rate aside from maybe removing the no priority skill disability for Hardy Bearing's user but that seems more like something that Hardy Bearing 3 would do.
  17. Well I'll be damned. Not only is Ninian actually the juggernaut of this gauntlet but F!Corrin's following is significantly smaller than I'd thought it'd be. Ah well, I'll still fight to the bitter end for Lady Corrin and for the glory of Nohr! At any rate, I'll leave my info here again for any others in Team F!Corrin who'd like to add me. I have Lobster Man Ryoma as my lead for now though I have plenty more to chose from. Name: Tybrosion ID: 0085075948 Lead: Ryoma (+Spd/-Def; Raijinto, Reposition, Luna, Fury 3, Vantage 3, Hone Spd 3, Quickened Pulse) Other 5*s: https://imgur.com/a/HYlkg
  18. This has been said before, but SF is most certainly not an accurate representation of the FE fandom as a whole. Back in the first two gauntlets, a lot more people who hang around here supported Ephraim and Minerva than Lucina and Camilla respectively but, well, we all know how those gauntlets ended. Ninian might end up being the juggernaut for this one, but if F!Corrin's team is anything like it was back during the summer gauntlet then it'll probably be her instead.
  19. Here's the results for those four, just for reference: M!Robin: 14,149 (16th), F!Robin: 10,387 (24th) F!Corrin: 19,599 (9th), M!Corrin: 7,691 (41st)
  20. But saltiness, for better or worse, has also always been a part of the Voting Gauntlet experience as well to the point that the below may as well be the motto for the Voting Gauntlet as a whole even before the multiplier came into the picture: "Hmph. Pass the salt." You'll get meaningless brownie points with me if you got the reference.
  21. Maybe you should’ve went a step further and said something like “after we enjoy some nice chicken nuggets from KFF” because who needs subtlety anyways.
  22. I did and the equation I saw was the one I posted. And again, there was only one change from the previous gauntlet listed on the post and it does not concern the equation for the multiplier.
  23. I don't know where you got this, but the notification board post for this gauntlet still has the equation as this: ((Duration x 0.1) + 3.1)) Besides, the only listed change was that "adjustments were made to how the game calculates which armies are stronger and weaker." Nothing was said about the equation for the multiplier itself being changed.
  24. I don't know where they got that from myself and seriously hope that it isn't true. The multiplier already made matches enough of a typical Mario Party chance time when it activated at a 10% difference. If it actually only takes a quarter of the time it used to for the multiplier to activate this time, then it'll pretty much mean that every match will devolve into absolute anarchy. If anything, IS should kill the multiplier entirely make it take longer for the multiplier to activate, not make it to where it'll almost constantly be in play.
