System Error

It's nothing fancy or memey, but I felt like doing a different form of cheese than usual and felt like recording it, so. Galeforce Raging Storm (II), y'all.

Well recorded this when someone said it was suffering and it took a lot of figuring out (and fruit) for me too so I may as well post it here.

Okay, somethingmonthly update. New units... And the newly updated collage:

I found these sitting in a text document just now that I'd completely forgotten about, theorycrafting a western-style New Years' banner. (lolneverhappening). Never really developed it much since I didn't feel like thinking up skills let alone stat lines, but I thought up the banner, their descriptions, and weapon names.

Okay, let's do a monthly update for myself, also because why not? Various updates and merges happened, but the following units are new: This brings me up to 623 before anniversary, barring temptation to try to draw for Nyx or some random nonsense spook on a weekly rerun.

Get ready for this, because it's Team Other Mother/Child nonhuman Duo. And my own thief who might possibly be her husband in this scenario? And F!Grima I guess because Tiki died horribly when I tried to use her. Also yo menace and refine aside that is a 2017-18 build on Nowi if I ever saw one. Some tweaking and Wings of Mercy to set this up. The first two turns were getting into position. On turn three, I smited Panne down. QP made her Luna active, and she had enough to blow up Nah on the spot. Drag Back to get her to where Grima could repo her. Escape Route on her is an artifact; the important thing was getting rid of the Spd/Def Link I have on her usually so she wouldn't get debuffed. Add in DD3, and she ends up with 10HP to spare after tanking attacks, important to survive the Cleric later (she ended up with 8 when I was using bond, and that was enough to kill her). Gaius could've killed the green cav, but he couldn't survive Nowi. So instead he just dragged Grima over to kill the red idiot. Nowi tries to take on Yarne (who warped in to kill the green cav) and can't survive his next move. And that was it.

Legendary Three Houses vs. Osian & Tanya Thought about making a video, but didn't feel like uploading. Mostly, this was me testing out the LFByleth I got when going for Lif. I could've played this just about any way I wanted, and I' did a lot of similar things in clears before: all the houses including the wolves, the church, Dimitri and Edelgard Emblem, just killing every last one of them with a solo Dimitri, etc. And hey, with the three lords lego plus her, that's a Heart Legendary away from summoning Captain Planet. I sniped the first guy near Tanya with LClaude and did some repoing. LEdelgard was near the right side, and LFByleth drawing back LDimitri after he repoed LClaude put her near. On the next turn, Dimitri and Claude killed Tanya and the red idiot. Edelgard went for Osian, and due to Byleth the guard effect did nothing. Took her two moves to kill him after which Galeforce went off. Byleth killed the sword guy, and Edelgard had exactly enough Atk to kill the lance guy. --- Path of Radiant Dawn vs. Abyssal Celica I was thinking of how to approach this, then I quickly realized I could just do this thanks to Santina/BMiccy. Nothing fancy, but damned if it isn't effective. Regular 'ol Miccy takes care of the first armor. I could've used any dancer of mine, and I arbitraily decided on DNeph. I don't think I needed Infantry Rush, but it was piling on. The only real tweak I needed was Guard on Santina - this stops Celica's Miracle (I couldn't one-shot without a charged special), and I didn't need Null-C here.

FEH vs. Fernand Imagine betraying your home country to the empire just because you hate how this farmboy got put in charge. Then you go to meet him on the field of battle and instead you and your men wind up getting killed by fairies. Mira got the dance skill here, removing the skills from the rest allowed me to go through with this. Regular Plumeria so it had to be New Years. Needed a bit of tweaking but should be self-explanatory. Triandra is pretty bonkers as an offensive unit. FE6 vs. Arete FE14 vs. Eirika and FLyon wasn't interesting enough to show, eventually got bored of trying different things and threw LFCorn backed by Kaden at them. Meanwhile here I did meme. Blue, blue. Going full Happy Happyism here. Blue units only. Imagine +10ing Gwendolyn and not using her here because she underperforms (all she did on a previous clear is kite the axe idiot). Also imagine spending upwards of 300 orbs trying to get a Larum exactly for these situations because you didn't trust Hall of Forms to have her, then deciding to meme instead of using her.

Didn't see one yet, so decided to make it myself after spending an hour and a half or so trying to meme on the guy. Which I successfully did in the end. Wolf was the only character I didn't get last Archanea focus, my draws there went atrocious. But on the New Years' 2 rerun I was intending to pull red even though I had everyone, may as well for max fodder chances. There were none so I settled on colorless. And BOO. So I decided I'd do a theme clear with him and his cohorts on whatever showed up next. Of course it would be a reinforcements map, though... I did a bunch of specialized inheritance to pull this off: Vyland got Escape Route 3 and a regular ol' Brave Axe, and I +1'd him because SP grinding is suffering. Wolf and Roshea both got Ward Cavalry, and the latter also got Pass (!!). Wolf's Vantage/Glimmer are from an earlier attempt that I didn't need to change out (he originally took a hit from the lance armor and needed those to dissuade the bow cav from killing him). Sedgar didn't need any changes from what I gave him. Vyland had the lowest Spd (even though I am trying to give him a speed meme build). Brave Axe let him kill the red flier - the trick was making sure the bow cav couldn't get him, which is the reason for Escape Route. The Ward Cavalry stacking was so that the bow cav wouldn't kill Roshea, either. Once Riev was down, it was that cav and the armors. Vyland's Escape Route got rid of him, then it was just a turkey shoot on the armors with my ranged units.

No video since I'm too lazy and space-strapped on my phone for now. But when I noticed what map it was in the actual game and where your units start, I couldn't help but try out a theme clear. I kicked things off by sniping te axe guy on the right side with Brigid, followed by getting her out of harm's away and some tanking. Vika helped maneuver people around the boat, while Lifis took some hits but eventually got the green cav when they came around and ahead of Gatrie. I pulse smoked Shinon and started tanking with Surtr. It was fairly easy from there: he could sit there eating attacks all day. It was eventually down to Shinon, Gatrie, and the cleric. After Gatrie fell (took some time with him being healed), Surtr and Brigid beat Shinon and the Cleric was helpless - I let Vika take the kill because she didn't do much otherwise.

Well no video here mostly on account of being too lazy to upload. I'm not sure if I could've gotten the turn 1 dominance clear. But instead of my usual team when that doesn't work. I decided to try a minor meme team. Besides, this map seemed perfect for messing around with Ash warping nonsense. All legendaries or mythics team. Turn 1 moved Ash down one space to the cliff, warped Eitri, and instantly killed Byleth. Canto got her most of the way away, and a Reginn repo got her the rest of the way. From there it was mostly hanging out in the top right and killing everything. Ash needed Deflect Magic seal to survive at one point, and I gave Eitri Mystic Boost to keep her topped up. All +0 with vanilla skillsets mostly, and I'm pretty sure I could've swapped Triandra for Peony if I was inclined - she used Atk Tactic seal, needed to kill the axe idiot on turn 2. Wasn't too hard, especially with Canto nonsense.
