  1. I personally think that having to invest the additional time to earn the spells is a mark down, simply because of time consumption, but others may not mind it.
  2. Perhaps we should make a list of these "easily learned" CA/Spells.
  3. Hubert Unique Action: Dark Conjuration – Despite the name it is not actually a Dark attack and does not interact with things like Essence of Darkness nor does it apply Spellbound. However, the active component can reveal Stun Gauge and deals damage to it. Additionally, it will cause enemies struck to drop their Guard, leaving them open to attack. Unique Support: Perception – Basically Death Blow+. Synergizes well with Dark Conjuration to easily go into Critical Rushes. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Hubert's stat spread (without boosters) suggests the following: Magical attacker. Excellent magic user. Mediocre Critical Rush damage/Critical chance. Above average Awakening duration, quick CA/Spell CDs. Vulnerable to physical damage. Recommend leveling as: Dark Bishop or Dancer Projected Stats as Dark Bishop (1-120): HP Str Mag Dex Spd Lck Def Res Cha 8922 55 120 91 80 67 49 101 65 Dark Bishop is likely to get you past the Mag cap and close to Res cap, as well as high Dex. This will lend itself more towards a Stun build and will let you tap into Res Factor. Projected Stats as Dancer (1-120): HP Str Mag Dex Spd Lck Def Res Cha 9522 67 107 73 116 67 49 65 95 Dancer will get you close to Mag and Spd cap, as well as high Cha. This is better for a CA/Spell spam heavy build. It does make him more vulnerable to magical damage though.   4. I'd agree he is an A minimum, could border on S the more you iterate on his builds. I think people sleep a bit on Dark Bishop in general as they technically keep advantage over Bows at high levels (since Bow Knight) but also just start shredding 2/3rds of Lance units and 1/2 of the Axe units. But that is not exclusive to Hubert, though he is one of the better ones. His Spd also compliments Dark Magic Mastery very well. Not only that but if you can get a Tome with Res Factor and CA/Spell boost you can still make use of the DB moveset and do as much damage, if not more than DK since it all taps into his high Mag. Only thing DK has over DB is movement, imo.
  5. Not sure if anyone has looked into this or has noticed the following but: Dark Knight Class Action deals Physical damage, both the blast from the unit and the sigils. This means that the only way to use Mag and target Res as DK without AoI is to actually use Spells. Just throwing this out there in case anyone else wasn't 100% sure.
  6. Edelgard Unique Action: Solar Prominence - Essentially Essence of Fire+. Fire is not the best element but Edelgard does have access to a lot of Fire CAs that benefit from this. Unique Support: Emperor's Prestige - Very strong. It does make some Guard Piercing skills redundant though. Crests: Crest of Flames - Nice bonus to have for sustain but too low a proc chance to be reliable. Minor Crest of Seiros - In Edelgard's case this can be overkill.   7. Not quite on format but I do want to dissect Shez's available skills for builds and what I think are some of the stronger options. Shez Unique Action: Shadowflash - The passive component of this ability steers Shez towards building hit counter. The active component grants a very significant mobility boost. Overall, this is a very strong ability.   9. I'll post some later. I'd be wary of Reborn Gaming stuff, he makes a lot of mistakes in his builds.
  10. I'm not saying his background isn't interesting or realistic, but I definitely do not enjoy how he interacts with other characters in his supports.
  11. They aren't great late game but have the niche of being crestless weapons with uniquely high Mt and low weapon rank requirement. They are great for units getting into new weapon types.
  12. I do prefer Factors over Reckless Power in general if the unit already makes good use of a stat, like Shez with Spd.
