  1. Ah, dang. I don't know if I'll bother changing my team, then. Alphonse instead of Inigo and Bike with Aether and BB will probably be enough point-wise, but then Rein and/or BLyn with a Reposition partner make things very complicated. Being able to counter kill them is crucial. Curiosamente, yo soy de Granada...
  2. When did the cutoff to get into tier 20 increase? I just finished my arena run of this week, and with a score of 4814 I am at a 12550, when the cutoff for promotion is at rank 10732. I was used to getting to tier 20 with anything above 4800, and most of the time even lower. I assumed that, with a bunch of dancers as bonus units, the cutoff would get lower, not higher. Was it like this last week? I was in tier 20 on my usual way down to 19, so I don't know if that started then or not. I could give Bike Aether and Beorc's Blessing back, but since I got an anti-meta Inigo (which, as a side note, sounds horrible, btw, much better the Spanish Íñigo), I gave him Ignis and Vantage to laugh in the face of all melee units. If by increasing my score a bit I can get to 20 I can try, if the cutoff is too high I won't bother, 18 is still 4 orbs, after all.
  3. Not only this maps are awesome for SP grinding, they are ideal for leveling too. I have a pair of 5* units that I wasn't going to level because their goal in life was to be fed in the future to others, but when this maps came I got them to 40 anyway, it's easy and painless. When they disappear we're going to really, really miss them.
  4. Returned to T20 with my all-time high score of 4830 Bike/Olivia/Tharka/Ephraim did the trick. Bike and Olivia are S level of support, Ephraim and Tharja are S too, while Bike is S with the summoner. I had a lot of trouble against the myriads of BLyn+Reinhardt or even just BLyn alone with my old bait Raven TA Soren, but Bike can tank them both easily and recover the lost HP with Aether, so he's a boon to have. A pity I didn't get any of the brave heroes after so many orbs used and thus Bike had to be neutral, but that's better than no brave hero, I guess.
  5. Mine was Ephraim. I first leveled him without paying attention to his nature, and by level 40, I discovered he was + Spd -Res, whcih, while not optimal, is surprisingly good. He's one of the staples of my teams, S support with Tharja, who he buffs and protects. Recently got his sister and she's nowhere as good as him as a combat unit, while being exactly the same as a buffbot.
  6. But that's the question, Ephraim can do both. And I was hoping she could, too. At least checking greens, which I guess will be easier against physical ones thanks to the 30 defense, but then again, with 32 speed even green mages will make a dent on her. Am I asking too much by wanting her to do both things?
  7. So, In my endless (and so far, fruitless) search for Celica, I ended up with an Eirika. She is a unit I wanted, to mimick her brother's build as a battery in teams where I want to use another blue unit. The problem is... She's -Spd +Def. How salvageable is she with that nature? base 26 attack and 32 speed isn't exactly stellar. My Ephraim (+Spd -Res) is primarily a battery, but he deals really well with most physical reds and squishy lances. I'm afraid Eirika won't be able to do anything of note other than buffing, with those stats. Any suggestions?
  8. I got a pretty good Gray from the TT banner (-HP +Spd), and I'm not really sure which direction to go with him. On one hand, with his boosted speed, even the negative HP will let him outspeed a good chunk of characters either naturally or through his A skill activation. On the other hand, Fury... Fury will really make him potent, with 40/38/38/33/25: great offenses and solid defense. The B skill escapes me, whether I get Wind Boost or Fury. The weapon I think stays, as it's 14 might even if it won't be specially useful against cavalry (because what matters there the most is the first strike usually). Any ideas?
  9. Got demoted after a final rush to get Olivia the SP to inherit Fury 3, after I got an unexpected Hinata summon. Managed to teach her Fury 3, and as I expected, teams gave me more points than with HP+5. However... They gave me MUCH more points! So many points, that the teams were usually very hard, with lots of high-end merges and of course not a single half-assed SI. Ended up losing one unit in my 6th battle when there was 10 minutes remaining ;_; Anyway, next week I'll easily go back to 18, at least, and if things progress logically, I'll end up going up into 19 as well the next. If I manage to rebound from 18 to 19 eternally, I'll be happy.
  10. Got a deathless run for 4782. For now, enough to promote me to tier 19, but I know for sure it won't last. I'll keep fighting now that I finished Olivia's kit (she had only WoM2, now has the level 3 version), and hopefully I'll get a better score, if only by a little. Still probably won't be enough, but I have to try.
  11. It's going to be rough for me. The ideal cornerstone units for this map are either someone that can delete Camus turn one and then retreat to safety (Reinhardt being the prime example), or some unit that can tank either Camus or one of the axes (Hector or a similarly bulky axe user). The closest thing I have is my +Def -Atk Titania. I'll try to build something around her. If that fails, maybe Effie's Wary Fighter will let her last enough to bait them so the rest of my team can kill them.
  12. I'm strictly ftp (didn't even reroll when I started because I didn't know it was even a thing) and managed to get to tier 18, so don't give up hope. The cutoff this season is going to be lower for sure, but I don't know if low enough for your current score. Still, don't worry: in a few weeks tier 17 is going to be much easier to maintain, as the higher scoring players stabilize in 18-20.
  13. I don't think anything below 4700 can make the cut. Last week 4719 would have demoted me, and I don't think the bar has lowered that much.
