I assume you will get proficiency in combat so even if there is no official class tree, there certainly "ideal path" to get certain Classes. Ie if you want Eldegard be wyvern rider, you might want take Pegasus knight class first.

Not necessarily. Even if you can buy new maps, it doesn't mean they will not require time or the teacher points. If those maps could come with more enemies, better drops or even just bit more lore that alone would be good reason to aquire them.

Whats so good about appearance customisation anyway? Robin/Corrin were completely same person (and unfortunately not interesting one) regardless of which hair color they got. While we can't say for sure if Byleth have anything resembling persolity just yet, absence of customization imply they are not supposed be self-insert at least. As for Mark he is bit different as he is not protagonist by any measure. If we get remake I think best would be just keep him completely ambiguous (and unplayable) as he was in FE7, so he does not steal attention from others.

Running Pent & Louise (Supporting each other duh), NY! Azura and Boot to the head Cecilia. Funny thing, usually it's Cecilia who murder Pent. Only exceptions are if I do some major screw up along the way and have to use back up team and kill Pent with my best green mage... Cecilia. Quite ironic.

Yeah, it feels like IS was pushing her into spotlight for any cost necessary in story mode even neglectinf other OGs, yet did nothing with her in the end.
