Yeah Subaki & Hector seems like easy mode here I am thinking going with Eldigan and Azura/Olwen for axe flier and Lloyd respectively after that.

21k total rank, 13k in team. Not bad. It was fun gauntlet and I can say I even forgave Julia and am indifferent toward her. In other hand I really came to like Tarja. I was fond of her before, but now truly appreciate her. For now I will keep feathers and decide who I promote based on skill fodder I roll.

Honestly I don't think it's fair exclude characters that not just obviously fit, but are poster theme. Leave Lyn or Hector from Myrmidons and armor gauntlet and I will riot. I guess lot of people would.

While I agree that Hector is not most ideal Reinhardt counter, he is pretty universal and Rein us not that big deal to have to give green slot someone Just to counter single unit like him. Especially as he is weak in defense and good blue unit can do better job in player phase. At least I am pretty sure my Olwen killed more Reins than my Hector. And I think even Eldigan with dancer might do job, though never tried that.

You are too stuck on that "popularity contest" thing. It's not called that way. It's clash of two fandoms over their character supremacy where both numbers and strategy matter. Sometimes stronger army win by zerg rush other time they loose to cunning ambush. Gauntlet is much more entertaining then popularity contest would be. So rather than bashing system you should do your best for character you like.

Well if opponent need two units counter your single one you are doing something right. Don't you think think? Also it said Hector, because I have him, but pretty much any decent build can do it in one or other day. To be honest I prefer using Olwen if possible for that task myself.

In that case 1) Improvise 2)Destroy them. If you have Hector and decent rest of team, it's still doable. Sure Reinhardt can "dominate meta" in specific setup on specific map and bad luck. But well, sometime you just have to live without deathless win streak and be content with just winning match.

That doesn't really happen often, and you just have to bait buff bot to self destruct first and Rein will come running to get rected in your phase.

Yet you can probably get good deal only for 800 of them. If your team is lucky, that is. Still good bargain. Moral and official victory is good enough for me (once this gauntlet will end I will have 10k more feathers than before and ready promote anyway).

Wow no multiplier so already? Will it really go downside. I actually hoped Robin put some fight but it definitely is better this way.
