I'm near sighted; I ussually wear glasses unless I'm reading or on the computer. I have transition lenses so I always wear them outdoors.

It doesn't even feel like the week of the 4th where I'm living... I'm guessing it has to do with the fact that 80% of my apartment complex is foreign... its kinda surreal in a way; I'm always used to neighbors setting off botttle rockets and whatnot in the days leading up...

I can speak English!!! I took 4 years of Spanish in Junior/High School 2 years of German in High School my high school only offered Spanish, French, Italian, and German... and occasionally latin and two semesters of Chinese in college. so yeah I'm proficient in none... I would love to continue on with Chinese and minor in it but alas the last two semesters 90% of the work i did outside the classroom was for chinese!!!!! it was an unbearable amount of work! Daily Character writing practice sheets; two workbook assignments each week each lasting a good 2 hours to complete... mandatory speaking practice with the TAs each week(on my own time); two weekly quizes and biweekly exams; not to mention a midterm and final i know I failed. And this doesn't even include the countless hours of studying for quizzes and exams! Oh and I forgot weekly skits done with a randomly selected group!

I've never had any trouble getting into Canada; nor coming back... though now it sucks because I have to search for my birth certificate(I have no idea where it could be) if I want to go to Canada again... or should I say come back from Canada...

sadly its the only place I could logically get them without driving more than 100miles... and with gas prices so high I'm not inclined to do so.

I havn't been to the Dentist in 2 years... I lost dental coverage from my parents insurance when I turned 18. I guess i could just go to the free university clinic... but I personally don't trust dental students...

I for one have none :-( I can't even work since my place of employment is closed for the day. My biggest problem is that all my friends are busy either with family or on vacations... I guess I have a few options: I could go to my current town's fireworks display, but probably wont; what I really want to do is go down to Pennsylvania and smuggle some fireworks and set them off in a parking lot or something. I'll probably will just end up downtown. I guess if I want to feel like suicide I could spend the day with my family but gah that would be soooo awkward now... actually talking about this makes me wish that I had a grill(though where I could store it would be another question) anyways anyone else have any significant plans for the 4th?

I cook and bake quite a bit, especially since I'm a chef. um the only limit to what I can make is my pocket book. I havn't been doing much cooking outside of work lately, but when i do its usually an Italian style stir-fry of sorts
