I didn't realize weapon weight existed for years, so I often found myself wondering why I wouldn't double. Also, I don't often play hard modes because I feel normal is usually better balanced.

Every map is like Conquest chapter 20 but with fog of war every single weapon decreases your stats after using it has an avatar unit that can S support everyone at the same time every female character is like Camilla and Tharja every male character is like Niles where do babies come from? Deeprealms actually forget the first two points, Fire Emblem is a dating simulator now

Mention AAA games that incorporate microtransactions
The Baroness of Blainswal replied to Harvey's topic in General Gaming
My reasoning is, when I buy a full priced game ($80 up here in The Great White North) I expect to get a full game. I don't think that's an unreasonable demand, when you buy a book or pay for a movie ticket it's the same idea. What I don't want however, is for a portion of that game's content no matter how minuscule or irreverent to gameplay to be locked behind a paywall. Content that already exists at launch shouldn't cost extra, it should come with the game you literally just bought. You are correct about nobody forcing you to buy them, that much is true. In fact, nobody is forcing anyone to fall for any anti-consumer business practices, doesn't make it any less scummy though. Free to Play games are different story however, and I don't have too much of a problem if they have Micro-Transactions. It's just that you can't be a full priced game and have a Free to Play model which is what the "AAA" games industry tries to do because they want all of your money. -
What games would you like remakes or remasters of?
The Baroness of Blainswal replied to Ronnie's topic in General Gaming
I second this. Panel de Pon is probably tied with Dr. Mario as my favourite puzzle game of all time, however unlike Dr. Mario it hasn't received a proper entry since the Japan only Game Cube version. Also, a Final Fantasy VIII remake would be nice to see. I feel like it's the entry in the series with the most missed potential and a new take on it could help with many of it's problems. SaGa Frontier is another case of: "could be done better if remade", though I'm not really sure if Square Enix is interested in making SaGa games anymore. -
I only really burn out on a game if I don't like it very much to begin with and that's (usually) not the case with FE. I mean I like a lot of games, so it's not uncommon for me to go through long stretches of time playing games that aren't Fire Emblem but I wouldn't say it's necessarily because I'm burned out on it.

Ultimately, I prefer it to be in relativity good quality as well as complete in box, but it's not a necessity and I will buy used/poorish condition if I have to. Though when it comes to disc games (or DS style carts) original case is a must otherwise they're too difficult to organize.

Both for me. Usually physical when it comes console games because I like having a sort of material collection (even if it isn't that big), though for PC I buy digitally because there isn't really any other viable option at this point.

I don't think NoA particularly cares about religious themes anymore what with priest and Bishop being classes in some western released games.

I am a firm believer that Jugdral's day in the sun will come. All it needs is a remake, and I mean if Gaiden got remade, what reason would they possibly have for neglecting Genealogy of the Holy War (which if I'm not mistaken has more of a following)?
-
Absolutely not. While I admit Conquest's AI sometimes gets rather crafty with it which is fun, I'm not too crazy about the fact that one aspect of the mechanic completely cancels out the other.

I would love to see a new game in the Soul Blazer series (which, for those who might not know includes: Soul Blazer, Illusion of Gaia, Terranigma), as they were the best action RPGs on the Super Nintendo as far as I'm concerned. Unfortunately, I doubt it will ever happen considering the company that made them went defunct years ago and we haven't even seen virtual console ports of these games. Samurai Shodown should make a comeback too, I find no other fighting game really scratches the same itch as this series for me. I agree with you about Kirby Air Ride and Chu-Chu Rocket as well.
