  1. ".......What."- Diane's control over her expressions broke when she heard the shit the brown-haired man got himself into, her face forming a look of shock and amusument at the same time, her mouth attempting to smirk but settled on an O-shape as the mechanic flung one of her hands, the one that hadn't touched Pavel's to her face. "The Captain... did that? My god, what did you even do...."- was her only response, she couldn't really talk to this Mac woman right now.
  2. Since Diane wasn't getting any response from the woman, she was apparently called Mac if the man besides her was anything to go by, so she decided to turn her attention to Pavel. She was pleased that the brown-haired man had decided to accept her revised deal with no complaints, no doubt he would be interesting to watch. Seeing the hand that was offered to her, the woman stuck out her own arm and began to shake the pilot's hand with her own. Though she did need to clarify something, as she grinned playfully. "Don't assume that I don't mind being in a three-way split. Keep that in mind, hmm?" "Well then, I am glad that we can come to an agreement, but you should be boarding your mech right bout now, the captain's like a lady, hates to be kept waiting."- she let go of his hand and nodded towards the mech. "By the by, I forgot to introduce myself; name's Diane. Diane Muzeez."
  3. "I would be alright with accepting your terms...; I'm not perfect, and it is possible that a problem could arise Chevalier's that I'm not familiar with... but that deal strikes me as completely unfair. After all, how do I know if you're going to make mistakes on purpose, or if you're actually just a shitty pilot and blame the mech for your shoddy performance."- the black-haired woman stared blankly at Pavel, seeming disinterested in the man already. She could guess that judging by his appearance he had a rotten personality, but that in itself wasn't a problem; hell, with his looks he looked more like a problem child, not that she minded. But he called her skills as a mechanic into question, and that was simply unacceptable. Diane crossed her arms, having placed her datapad on a nearby flat surface, as she kept a neutral expression towards the man in front of her. She was only guessing, but she assumed that he wanted her to freak out, be extremely mad about things and walk off in a huff, for what reason the mechanic did not know. But she wasn't about to let him win whatever game he was playing. "I have no intention of being deceived, so how about this. You go on this little training exercise, and I'll go over your feedback when it's over. We'll tally up the mistakes on your part, and on the mech's part, and whomever has the most mistakes, has to do one favor for that person. On the condition that said favor can't be something that will get you kicked off the crew. You're free to disregard my terms, but in that case there's no deal and you can go on your merry way."- she shrugged, and at the moment, the order from the captain came for the pilots to sortie. He sounded... tired? That was odd, considering she heard that the captain was supposed to be in his mid-twenties, but she guessed that he was a veteran, and a veteran coming to a training exercise.... she couldn't imagine how he must have felt. Humiliated? Annoyed? Both? Regardless, a woman came up to Diane, asking for the Aventuros. Diane blinked, forgetting that she was speaking to the man in front of her and nodded to Makenna. "Yeeeees? The Aventuros? I'm positive that you should be able to use one of them, even if this IS a training exercise. Just go ahead and give it a whirl; my only request is that you give me feedback on the mech when you're done with the exercise."- Diane replied to the woman asking for the mech.
  4. Diane raised an eyebrow at the pilot, letting her hand slowly leave the mech's side. Turning to the man, she noticed that he wasn't bad-looking, even kind of cute... though she had her suspicions that his personality was the opposite of cute. Nodding to Pavel, she began to speak. "Yes, I've done my checks; the Chevalier should be operating at maximum efficiency. In fact, I dare say that it is absolutely flawless."- she smiled, not at the brown-haired pilot, but at the machine. "I look forward to see what you're capable of. When you get back, tell me how you felt operating the machine. I need feedback and data to see if I can make any improvements... not that there should be a need for that. I have confidence in my skills as a mechanic."- Diane boasted, hands, and her datapad, on her hips.
  5. Diane sighed as she looked over the data on the mechs assigned to her with her screen pad. Everything seemed like it was in order, but she couldn't be too careful, especially since the crew was apparently a bunch of weirdos, and new recruits. The woman glared, not at anyone in particular, as she ran a greasy hand through her already messy hair. As much as she loathed the idea of giving these really nice looking machines to the pilots, just so they could bang them all up, that was kind of the whole reason she joined the military in the first place. She wanted to see how she could repair these mechs.... and not only that. If they were sent to fight, that meant that she could acquire data on the enemy mechs... the thought of seeing a new type of mech would be interesting to say the least. "Hmhmhmhm~ I can't wait to see what's in store for you my little darlings~"- Diane cooed at the one of the machines, placing her tanned hand on the surface of the mech's armor. "Do bring back some worthwhile data, and come back all bruised so I can patch it all up~ Hmhmhm-"- after giggling to herself for sometime, Diane's playful expression was gone, back to a more serious and no-nonsense attitude more benefiting of a mechanic who was given a place in this battleship. She couldn't let anyone in command see what she was like, she wasn't even the head mechanic of this place, just an exceptionally good one. Sighing once more, the black-haired woman went back to triple-checking the specs. Even if she wanted to see them banged up, if they were destroyed, well then THAT was another matter entirely. She couldn't risk the death of a pilot just because she failed to adjust the armor properly. In any case the pilots would be arriving soon, and hopefully they wouldn't suck at piloting them. "Well... it doesn't really matter. This is supposed to be weapons testing, not actual live combat. ....Oh well, I'll be satisfied if these darlings perform to the best of their capabilities."- the woman chuckled again as kept inspecting the specs of the EU mechs.
  6. I've edited the appropriate info so she's part of the EU. Though maybe you can take a once-over and see if it's good.
  7. Goddamit, I completely forgot about that, was looking at the submisions for EU lol. Gonna Edit
  8. Right, so edited. Now she's 17 years old so she can be a total player, LOL. Her backstory has been edited and now I see you want me to the EU topic, which is very nice, but I don't know much about the situation over there. I would enjoy being there, and I can edit my backstory, but I'm not sure on the general status of the EU military, so some clarification would be necessary.
  9. I understand your worries in regards to my inactivity around these parts as of late. I was also debating on whether I should return to Return of the Emblem, but my given my general disinterest with RP-ing in general at the time and a bunch of shit (University hooorayyyy) I can see why you would be wary of me. I made a mistake in trying to enter RoTE after I left, and then left it. Anyways back to the topic at hand, I have been reading the RP, mostly and I understand that party is currently engaged in battle at the Space Colony. I was going to join much later after the battle had concluded, buuuut seeing as this is not an option that is desirable, I can rework her backstory so she could be one of the civvies in Colony One, assigned there, but I'm not super keen on that idea. I'm willing to wait though, because a Super Robot Wars RP is amazing, and is desperately needed, plus you seem to have your head on your shoulders. I think that I'm at a point in my life where I can safely manage being an RP-er now. In regards to the parents being TK-mechanics I'm going to change this since it's something that's treated hush-hush like in-universe. And yes the strikethrough is meant as a joke :P Off I go to fix things~
  10. Name: Diane Muzeez Age: 23 Birthday: January 25 Sex: Female Adaptabilities (For Flavor~): Air: D, Ground: C, Water: S, Space: S Archetype: Mechanic, Possible Co-Pilot? Appearance: Olive skin tone, and reaching to 5'4" with long black hair wrapped in a braid that reaches to her back. Has a youthful exterior befitting her age, resulting in a lithe and dexterous body that is capable of doing a variety of acrobatics. When she's not in her standard mechanic outfit (a boring beige jumpsuit), she can be seen wearing a white shirt, and ragged jeans. Personality: While she can be official when the situation calls for it, so she doesn't get booted off the ship for insubordination, Diane's personality is more casual and easygoing. She has a tendency to be more informal towards people and loves to talk about anything. She takes pride in her skills as a mechanic, and the fact that she's an excellent swimmer, but tends to hate being airborne; strangely she loves being in space and underwater. Generally a cheerful person who wants to get to know people, so she doesn't really understand the meaning of personal space, however she does not get offended if people require their own space, which makes her a tad mature in that regard. She tends to follow life to beat of her own rhythm, provided that rhythm doesn't get her in trouble. Loves the sea, and if she isn't allowed to visit the beach she can get sad and mopey. Backstory: Born in Derrynane Ireland, Diane Liton was born to a family of mechanics specializing in repairing mobile suits. Her parents, accomplished engineers working under the EU, were gone for long stretches of time, so she lived most of her life along with her grandfather, also an engineer but he was currently no longer serving the military. At a young age, around 8, she began to help her grandfather out in repairing machines, and by age 14, she managed to repair a mobile suit after it crash-landed near the beach of her hometown beach. The experience was so exhilarating, that by the age of 17, she enrolled in the EU military as a mechanic in order to see these machines up close and take care of them when they returned from battle. She was also trained to pilot a mobile suit, however since she did so awful at Air and Ground Based Combat, she was shunted off into mechanic duty. While she is dissapointed in the fact that the ANF has better suits, and is generally not so keen on the EU's policies, she does all she can with the hope of seeing some high-quality machines.
