I'd love an older protagonist and I mean much older, someone who is either a king or queen and more wiser to the politics and world they live in. There's vast opportunities for story telling and even from a gameplay perspective to really change things up. I feel like Fates really wanted to have that actions = consequences type story but didn't have the characters/world or whatever to really see it through in a satisfying way. That could be switched around with a cast of b/older character who know that you can't "knock everyone out in a village using swords, magic and pointy arrows to show them the meaning of peace." But it is a Japanese series, and those story-writers do love a good coming of age story. I mean how else could we have the "boo-hoo-parent(s)-dead-into-naive-but-determined-youth-shows-sad-world-happiness" plot line?

There's that really bizarre Koei Tecmo "floating/running" animation, coupled with a Robin's robe which seems to have the density of rubber. (Seriously no billowing cloak and casting spells, where's the style points?! 'tch.) No idea why that bothered me but I think the models are looking just a bit too stiff and static, I feel like the characters should be looking cool while doing cool things. Ah well, it's a minor complaint. I'm still really looking forward to Koei Tecmo's funded Fire Emblem fan fiction! also what was going on with Lissa there, I hope that's an early build blunder.

I strongly believe that Bayonetta 2 is the best game on the system. Great gameplay, characters and soundtrack! Highly replayable and there's a decent online co-op mode...that has probably got about 50 players still in it. including me!! You can still play it with the A.I if your all about getting that 100%. Games like Mario 3D World are good, but if you've not played the Galaxy games then I'd grab them on the the VC over it, as well as the original Xenoblade (which can be played with the gamepad! --bonus!). As much as I love Hyrule Warriors there's no getting around the fact that it is a sloppy mess of a game hah, good for the grind but!

Hyrule Warriors was trash, but it was the kind of trash I could roll around in for hours at a time, maybe it was the never ending grind, the promise of "unlockables" or Ganondorf's sexy mane... Anyway, this game doesn't look too different! It's got janky animations, "oh, oh no" remixes and amazing toe-curling dialogue. I cannot wait! I'm also eagerly awaiting the self-insert-romance villain, I know guys are rattled because they won't be playing as Devdan anytime soon but please. I need my cheese.

I'm a big fan of moving my anime flavoured spreadsheets around the game grid to fight other *evil* anime spreadsheets for more numbers! ...Nah man I'm just kidding I love me some Fire Emblem. An Awakening baby, I've since rooted my way around the series and I have to say I love all the little changes along the way! I'm always up for a game or two so if any of you are into playing on yer Nintendo consoles are yer wee PC give us a shout! I'm looking forward to talking to you guys about how nice everyone's hair styles are in the series and all the fun stuff in between!
