Fiiiiiinally got Witch Nowi! +Def/-Spd, one of her absolute WORST IVs, but I do NOT care. Wanted her since November and now(i) I do! Huzzah! It did cost too much though... so regardless, I’ll pass on buying orbs for some time. Besides, it feels pretty good to save up a bunch of them. Makes the 5-stars feel earned, you know? Anyways, I’m down to 3 orbs, which probably means no Frima this month. I can live with that, her male counterpart can keep me company until she decides to grace my army with her fell presence.

Luckiest: Want to say either Love Abounds or Branded King. Got everyone except Lyn on the former and with the latter got both Morgans within 30 Orbs, a +Atk Grima, and my first Sanaki, whom I really wanted, and she has perfect IVs! Unluckiest: In terms of "dumping a ton of orbs and coming up with nothing," I guess that would be both Spring banners, this year and last year. I have yet to get a single focus unit on either of them, and with the legendary banner coming soon and Thracia, etc. coming later on, I'm not sure how much focus I'll give the current one. So far on the Hares banner, I've gotten 5-star Camilla and Nowi, both of which I already have. Though on the bright side, Camilla is +Atk and Nowi can be a merge!

One red and four... greens? Alright game... at least it was an easy choice. 4*Tharja. I’ll take it!

Sharena looks SO HAPPY! :D Glad Catria’s in this one, SoV gave me new respect for the Pega-sisters. Also gotta love the Norse mythology references in them eggs :3 Yay new unit class for Kagero! Love how she can look so silly and still be stoic and cool. Ninjabbit attack indeed! Alfonse looks cute in costume too! So festive! Also is that a live rabbit in his special animation? Woah >> Hardcore. Banner is cool but not sure how much I’ll summon on it. I want them all of course, but I want to stick to F2P for the time being. Plus, there’s this month’s legendary banner and who knows when the next Brave Heroes banner is coming out? Probably not soon but still. Good luck later tonight everyone! Another chance at the elusive Hector! The only character that I mini-whaled for waaaaay back in the first Hero Fest... with no luck in getting him, back then or since. Free pull? No green orbs. Got a Marth. Next pull? One green orb. Got a 4* Arthur. That, friends, is my cue to stop trying to get Hector. Maybe someday I'll get him as a pity breaker! Best of luck everyone!

Got M!Morgan (+Atk/-Res) as my free pull! (Apparently a lot of people are having amazing luck on this banner, what a nice change if true!) Stopped after that, but decided to pull again anyways since I had over 80 Orbs and wanted to. Got F!Morgan (+Res/-Atk, lol the opposite of the other Morgan) and 4-star L'Arachel (+Atk/-HP, goodness that's some low HP)! Not bad at all for 20 Orbs total!

Congrats all the Ike likers! Sure hope he comes with a blessing, and I'm surprised at how much Tharja caught up in the ranks. Seems people had some second thoughts from Round 1 to Round 2? Interesting... Looking forward to getting another of the good ol' Legendary Ike. Warding Breath is an amazing skill to have.

Free pull was a 3* Sully. They keep tempting me with Hinoka... but I must be strong! Someday, Fates-Pega-Pony-Princess... someday.

YES! YES! FINALLY! OH MY SWEET MERCIFUL NAGA AT LAST! After more than an entire year of not getting a single 5-star green armor unit, I got LA!Hector! I am freaking out at how happy I am right now! The curse hath been broken! No more just red and blue/sword and lance armor units for the monthly quests! No more having to be annoyed by not having a green unit that can counter from any distance! AAAAAAAHHHHH Phew. But yes, I don't even care that I got a Merric, Jagen and Bartre in the same summoning session. Hector was my third pull with the blue and colorless orbs left. I still wanted Lyn, and just for giggles decided to pull the colorless as well. Was not disappointed with Klein! LA!Hector is +Def/-Res incidentally, which is fantastic! Funnily enough, the last 2 Orbs that I got to reach 20 were obtained by completing Lloyd's Grand Hero Battle for the "all armor" quest. Black Knight ftw, now he has another training partner! My endorphins were going into overdrive, I tell ya. Fi. Na. Lly. And of course, I wish you all the best of luck on your future pulls!

Got my third LA!Lilina. Still no Hector. The desire sensor is real. That said, it was the first orb picked at 3%, so at least it’s not being merciless.

Been trying to get LA!Hector and grinded up 20 orbs from quests. 4% Pity rate 1 green, 3 blue, 1 red I pull the green first... aaaand another Lilina. Sigh. But at least it’s a focus unit and not, say, Hawkeye or something. This Lilina is +Atk/-HP, which is pretty good but my first one is +Spd/-Atk and miiiight be a little better overall, I’m not sure yet. Not going to merge or fodder just yet. Other pulls were nothing too interesting, and the red orb was a 4* Hinata, so yay more fury! I’m still determined to get Hector, so I’m looking forward to the Tempest Trial. Bring on the orbs!

So far I've been able to pull Roy and Lilina from the Lovey Dovey banner! They came pretty early as well, which I'm rather thankful for. I'm still going to keep pulling for Hector and Lyn though, since I really, really, really (really) want a 5* Green Armor unit because I have yet to acquire one. Plus, I really enjoy Hector in this Paralogue. He, Eliwood and Lyn bounce off of each other so perfectly <3 Had the rare occurrence of an entire summoning circle of green orbs! Aaaaand not a single 5* character, Hector or not. Still, was pretty neat to have that finally happen. Glad there's plenty of time left! And kind of hope the next Legendary banner isn't tooooo good...

So Fire Emblem Warriors seems to have just announced some new characters, including a bride version of Caeda and a groom version of Marth. CO-IN-CI-DENCE? Could be. As for the silhouettes, I'd be down for Roy and Lilina, it's about time they got some love. No pun intended. (Though I guess Roy already has a Brave version, so congrats potential-Lilina!)

So far, voted for PA!Azura and WE!Tharja. Both are excellent units with good skill inheritance options, not to mention being seasonal limited units that appear Naga-knows-how-often.

The two bonus rounds for the day I do manually with a +40% unit if possible, +20% if not, at least one character that is able to heal themselves and others (right now that's Summer Tiki with Renewal 3 and Ardent Sacrifice). Typically I want all of the units to be a bit bulky for color balance and being able to tank hits if they need to. Units with Aether or Renewal, maybe Sol as well. Possibly going to try out PA!Olivia with 3x Breath of Life combo and see how that goes. After the manual bonus rounds, I put it on auto-battle, using Stamina Potions if I need to. I have over 200 of the things and Tempest Trials are the only events I use them for anyway. BUT! This Tempest Trial is different in that I am finally in a position to utilize the x2 Exp and x2 SP that the bonus characters get for participating. I got Gunnthrá and L!Ike on this banner and I want to maximize their SP gains so I don't need to grind them too much to get them their full skill sets. Same for Myrrh but without the bonus SP. I also need to train up New Year's Corrin so I'll probably do that too!

In about 4 rounds of pulls I managed to get Gunnthrá (YAY! :D and she's +ATK/-HP! WOAH), Takumi (had two of him already, hilarious. Maybe someday if I get Halloween Henry!), and Fjorm (did you know you can get Fjorm as a free hero by etc etc. She's -Spd/+Res, which is alright but I think I'll use her for her ATK/DEF bond, which my Myrrh would appreciate :3 I'll keep her now though.) So yay pretty good luck! Only two new units in Gunnthrá and a 4* Seth, but I'm overall pleased with it so far. I'll definitely be trying to pull for PA!Azura and LH!Ike, and really, all of the red units as I have none of them! Hope y'all get what you want!

Red: I like Ike! Also, I lack both Sanaki and Siegbert, so this color will be the most significant for me. Blue: Fjorm will be a repeat of course, but more blessings aren't bad! Plus, Shield Pulse, Drive Attack, and Atk/Res Bond are all good or interesting. I have yet to get any version of Lucina without her mask. Summer Robin, should I get her, might be merged with my current awesome one! Green: Guunthra seems really fun, Summer Xander I already have but has Infantry Pulse, and Performing Arts Azura would be fantastic! More singer/dancer variety! Colorless: While I would like Faye and Frederick, they aren't my top priority. I have 2 Takumis already and don't have Halloween Henry soooooo... Best of luck everyone! Happy Anniversary! Dheginsea Ilyana Cynthia Grima Laevatein Hinoka

Got Myrrh on my free summon holy sweet Naga! Decided to pull on the rest of the orbs on that round and... well, I got fodder at least, but nothing else. But still! Did the story missions and the other quests and made up the 15 orbs pretty quickly. Myrrh is +Spd/-Res. Not the best but that's okay! One of the better stat combos for Arena due to the Speed "Superboon." Sacrificed 20K feathers to give her Quick Riposte 3. Her illustration and sprite work look fantastic! The dragon form is a little strange looking in comparison to the others, but I love that they're keeping true to the spirit of the original games. Also got Zelgius (+HP/-Res) on my first round of summons and Sothe (+HP/-Def) a cool 75 orbs or so later on their banner. Micaiah... maybe someday! As always, good luck everyone!

Pulled on the weird 4-5* focus banner, trying for Roy whom I've never gotten and I've been playing since launch day. Got a 4* Hinata and two 3* Selenas. Not bad for fodder purposes!

Off the top of my head: Ashnard! (By the way, I remember Ashard being in an official trailer or something for Heroes. Was that a dream or something?) Grima - Not sure how they'll do it, but I like the idea! Lyon - Would be pretty interesting to have this guy in the barracks Linus - Complete the Fangs! Lehran - Maybe not because of spoilers? I mean... it's been over a decade. Sonia (Not to be confused with Sonya) I sure hope we get another GHB soon, regardless of who it is. Though presuming they'll release each GHB unit at least 11 times for merging purposes, any ideas on how they'll organize that? Maybe even run more than one GHB at once?

For my last pulls on the Winter's Envoy banner I got a 4* Soleil, which I am SO happy about! :D New unit, and one that I wanted. +HP/-Res, not bad! Not bad at all! Leveled her to 40, promoted to 5* and 40'd again! Soleil is here! Also got a shocking surprise with Leo! I can count the number of non-focus 5-star exclusives I've gotten on two fingers, so that was a pleasant surprise! He is +Def/-Res, but that's just fine! I'm now only missing Hinoka from the Fates Royal Family with regards to vanilla units. Come on pega-princess, come home! Finally, I decided to roll on the Legendary banner, seeing as this is its last day (it's never long enough, is it?) and got a Bride Lyn! Huzzah! I now have all of the healers I want in the entire game, though I don't have Lachesis yet... so I guess not ALL of them just yet. Bride Lyn is -Atk/+Res. The attack bane always hurts, but she can tank a magic hit or two! Now that that's done, unless they release something truly spectacular in the January Legendary banner (coughLaevateinncough), I believe I'll be saving up for whatever they have planned for the Fire Emblem Heroes one year anniversary. I have no idea what that could be... but I hope it's exciting!

Town Building/Battling: I'd like this. A lot of characters imply that there is a town and shops, and that the kingdom of Askr is absolutely beautiful and wonderful... but we never see any of it in-game, just the castle room. It would be nice to have this fleshed out and even have it become part of the gameplay. Not only that, but doesn't this sort of imply that perhaps King Sutyr is going to destroy at least part of Askr? It would help motivate players to rebuild after the horrible attack. If implemented well, I think this could work nicely. Real Time Battles: I said yes even though it will probably never work unless they handle it with extreme care. I'm just really curious how they will make it work if they decided to add this feature in. Co-op Battles: Absolutely! This would potentially add an actual meaning to the friend list other than 10 feathers per day (which is a pretty insulting amount already. I mean, if you got them every day for an entire year you'd only have 3,650 feathers to show for it. That's not even enough to upgrade TWO 3-star characters. Wow), though I've been using it to get a variety of Voting Gauntlet units and see all of the greeting messages from all the characters :) Sleep Time Advancement: Eeeeeh... this is the only one I'm wary about. Being rewarded for NOT playing a game seems dubious. We already need to wait for literally everything else, why add even more waiting? Plus, that sends a weird message. "Don't play our game! We'll give you stuff for the game if you don't play the game!" I don't really get it. Plus, Stamina is already like that. I do not know how the game could benefit from this feature. Also, if this means "wait 6 hours for your building to finish" I guess it might be okay, but you just know they'll take advantage of that somehow, such as adding a building that takes six days to finish but dropping a banner that somehow benefits from that building being finished and the banner only lasts 5 days. Better spend those Orbs to finish it quicker! Bleh. But to be fair, IS hasn't done tooooo many things like that. Hopefully they will keep that stuff to a minimum, I think they've been really excellent so far. tl;dr - Yes, yes, sure why not, and eeeehhh...

YEEEEEEEEES I got WE!Robin in a pull taking place on Christmas. How fitting! (Other unit pulls were 4* Draug, 4* Lon'qu, and a 3* Frederick. Only had 19 orbs so last blue remains unpulled. Was it another Robin? Who knooooows?) He is -HP/+Res, which cancels out the Arena penalty he takes from the HP bane, though I don't typically care about those XD Still, better to be aware than not I suppose! Aaah, the dopamine flows freely! This banner was such a meanie, and I'm sure continues to be for many. Though I'm not complaining, Robin is the unit I wanted least since I already have Effie for my lance armor. Still, I did NOT have Armor March and besides, he's wielding a Christmas tree as a weapon and I'm a huge fan of hilariously unlikely weapons. Merry Christmas all! HP - The captain is Arden at his bulky 60 HP! Perfect for Panic Ploy shenanigans. Second place is Zephiel at 55. ATK - Interestingly, my +Atk, +3Atk A-skill Alm, as well as my +1 +Atk normal Ike are tied for first in the hitting things really hard department at 55, with Zephiel trailing them by 1 point including his own +3 Atk A-skill. DEF - Arden is also the toughest at 41 Def! Followed closely by Xander and Lukas at 40 Def each. SPD - Nino is currently my fastest unit at a blistering 42 speed with Fury 3! Followed by Anna at 41 and Lyn at 40. RES - Perhaps fitting, perhaps ironic, but my Arvis takes the Resistance lead with 36 magical defense including Fury 3, followed ever so closely by Deirdre and her daughter Julia at 35 each with their A-skills. It seems the fates of these three are intertwined for better or for worse. SP - We have a tie with Bridal Cordelia and Brave Lyn with 9,999 SP each! Brave Ike and Delthea are the runners-up. I think all but Bridal Cordelia are because their skill sets were good enough to begin with and didn't require much skill inheritance investment. Overall Rating - A tie between Young!Tiki and Summer!Robin with 194 each! Following closely are the heavy-hitting Zephiel and Black Knight with 187 each. This is a cool idea for a topic!
