For starters I am talking about IS more than you and me. It's a bad thing imo if they don't look to see if things work as they should. Everything that has existed will have flaws as time passes so leaving VG as is doesn't make sense. Also I think you are misrepsenting my point abit If you think conspiracy is the only way this happens or even what I think is most likely. Which is the system doesn't handle scale well to the point it screws over certain chacters more than it should which isn't intended. Sure it can be general trend that popular people are more likely to win but that doesn't mean the system in place scales properly at all levels. Just because it works in close with two charcters proximity doesn't mean it scales correctly when there are gigantic gaps between the two. It happens with other extremly popular chacters as well but it happens more so with Edelgard than others. Plenty of systems have been designed to do something but don't actually live up to what is expected when actually put into action. Live testing exists because systems can look brilliant only to be found it is missing important bits. Some point repeated events need to lose all excuses around them and treated just as face value. I have felt that time has long passed personally especially with its elevated importantance in ahr. Vg is no diffrent than this and it's time for it to be let go at the very least AHR deciding if not out right scraping. Edit: Also there is a diffrence between winning round 1 and winning the whole thing. I am not saying that anyone has to win. Its not healthy if a slot become essentially a first round bye slot.

I feel like that is an easy cop out answer that I hope IS doesnt go with. If they absolutely must use VG again (which regardless of this result I feel like needs a shake up because it's kind of stale regardless of my bias against VG imo) then there absolutely needs for IS to refine the vg to make sure everyone has a chance to win. Its not very interesting if there are chacters guaranteed to lose or win. And with how often certain charcters lose (its not just Edelgard) you can only call it bad luck for so long before it becomes clear other things are going on that need adjustments. I personally feel like it was needed ages ago but I think more and more people are going to want reworks as history continues to repeat itself.

Voting Gauntlet is flawed for many many many reasons. I hate the fact AHR still uses it. Unashamed Voting Gauntlet hater for years now. Not just because of Edelgard but the mechanics are dumb that time periods can screw over people if they aren't awake at the optimum multiplier hours and so on and so forth.

I still despise the fact that they use voting Gauntlet for AHR and would prefer 99.9% of other meathods. I am rooting for pretty much all of the non-green units personally other than Camilla.

I think most will be straight forward but the big question for me will be how the handle the corrupted versions of the emblems. Not sure how spoiler we are getting with this but just going to spoiler tag because I am talking about some final chapter stuff.

I do hope with the main feh story going forward they don't push Alphonse even harder over the other members of the askr trio because of his win. The others need more relevance as is.

Probably the most interesting one will be the house leader emblem just because it's three people and they use diffrent weapon types. The others are easier to figure out weapon types and such.

I like Robin but not the year after male won and everyone else are chacters are super not a fan of so meh.

Most skippable cyl banner of all time

My last minute predictions are Ivy and Yunaka for girls. Sigurd and Dimant for guys.

Hoping for some combination of Ivy, Goldmary, Alear or Veyle won for girls.i voted once for Ivy and the rest for Goldmary. As for guys only one I really have an opinion on is Sigurd specifically because of Engage version of him I liked so I wouldn't mind him winning.

Finally got Nepuz and been using her a bit and I can see why people don't like fighting her as she is super super tanky has canto and inflicts gravity. Also got duo Seior a bit ealier and the duo skill is amazing for how much mobilty it gives.

While probably true I also think that their is a reason both versions of a single avatar has not won at the same time before despite being clear front runners. I think it's mostly a case of people having multiple charcters they want to vote for and for some reason I cant explain it has hit the avtars the most. Their typically are more ballots that have votes for more than one charcter on them than their is completly full ballots to a single charcter. I just feel for some arbitrary reason it somehow hits avatars the most. Just a sense I got from past cyls but maybe this year will be different.

I think the Alear's have the biggest chance of falling lower. Mainly because I can see the voters uniting under 1 and the other falls out completely just a question of which it happens to imo. I see the male race being less contested so I can see Alear voters focusing on male Alear this year. With Engage specifically I think the top 2 of each gender probably are not as head of their compatriots as you might expect and it's probably tight race so I think it's still likely anyone race within the top 20 candidates race. So I think it's going to come down to if the Alear factions coordinate and what that does for the likes of Veyle, Ivy, Goldmary and Yunka. Not seeing Bernie winning this year because I still think people are a bit anti-three houses but I do think people will be more open to a houses winner on cyl 9

One thing I find interesting is they are allowing votes for Kvasir and Seior but not Masked Marth or flame emperor who are in similar boats. Seior has a more legitimate argument to be voteable as she is more of her own chacter but Kvasir tells us pretty close to meeting her that she is to become Gullveig. I like Seior and Kvasir but not sure if they should be voteable after Gullveig's win and book 7 making it clear they are the same person at diffrent points in time when Masked Marth and Flame emperor are not voteable.

Probably going to go for between Ivy and Goldmary. Voted for Goldmary today. I want Elincia to win but I feel like it probably going to be next year.

Agree to disagree as everyone has biases myself included. Simply by being a popularity thing introduces bias in of itself. It's much less of an issue in a single game but when going across the franchise it can get more complicated. Simply due to main charcters and people biases towards them alone. For starters assuming votes are the same under diffrent structure is not something I am a big fan of as formatting often determines incentives. Their have been a lot of people who give votes they wouldn't otherwise give otherwise if the setup was diffrent because they would feel even more so they can't afford to otherwise. Ballots would be more incentivised to go all in on charcters. Also for the record I am not a fan of a single year being 3 to 1 / 1 to 3 (either way) or even worse 0-4/4-0 and think it would lead to a lot of unnecessary drama. I don't think it will require two years in a row to cause issues. Two years in a row would just increase the amount of drama even more. It just frankly is drama that is created for no reason and just worsens the experience.

I think I or someone else could easily turn this into a really unpleasant argument with plenty of name calling if I really wanted to. It's pretty easy to claim to want something for one reason but actually want it for another reason. But that doesn't exactly lead anywhere productive as it's not exactly provable either way and become circular arguments. It doesn't work that way. Simply acting like things don't exist doesn't make it not an issue. People like you and me wanting diffrent things can easily lead to feelings of resentment and entitlment. The biggest reason I support the current system are better yet a vote for each gender system is I think it shuts down far more of these arguments in a healthier way than alternatives provide.

Look back at Gatekeeper and Gullveig winning a ton of people found a ton of reasons to be unpleasant towards of people voting them social media sites like Twitter. I would rather not include stuff that has a history of being heated on the internet in general (gender) into it. Also I think you are thinking this game exists a little to much in a vacuum. People who will never download the game at all will certainly jump into the debates. Maybe not on this particular site but all over the internet. It's just something I think is needed nor is something I think Nintendo/ IS overlooked when creating the event in the first place. Afterall this is supposed to be fun. As a final note I said above their is a bias towards main lords and there is not a balance in lords between the genders among a ton personal individual biases that every single person (me included) have. Which will add to above issues.

Even if everyone in this forum behaved with it doesn't mean the larger community will. Or better yet non feh players causing drama that IS/Nintendo doesn't want to deal with. Quiet frankly a non gender separate system is only ending in toxicity and vitriol that doesn't make business sense to enable for no real value or even negative value. One factor you are undervaluing a lot is cyl has always valued lords the most and the lord distribution is simply not equal between genders. Their are also also pockets of popular charcters of certain genders that would get voted in before others and their is no upside in having multiple years in of excluding a gender. If we absolutely have to reform cyl voting the better fix is to allow everyone a vote for each gender each day of voting.

Gender splits are frankly nessicary in this case. Even one year of one gender being excluded from the banner is going to result in insufferable toxicity that frankly doesnt need to exist. Especially considering that competion isn't exactly level and ends up hurting the more fiercely debated gender of the year. It only gets worse and worse toxicity and unfun discourse wise if a gender gets excluded more than one year and we end up with weird voting campaigns that have nothing to do with the charcters but entierly based off trying to balance genders. Do we really need people to be accused of being sexist for voting for charcters they like? I see no value in it.

So summer Gullveig confirmed? Every other main book charcter got an alt on this banner so its looking more likely that her first non-Brave alt is going to be summer. Also the art of the animations of the attacks are really good and some of the best imo.

So there is videos out there with two Camilla doing insane pre combat damage and then dance spam on Ar. Units were taking like 50 pre-combat damage. Kind if hard to live after that

I love Edelgard but damn they did Gullveig dirty in comparison purely from a divine vein flame perspective. Her banner isn't even over and we have a unit that applies the same divine vein better.
