Interesting, currently it looks like I might be able to get into T21 this week. Currently sitting at rank 917 with 3713 points.

I spent 80 orbs (had 200) on the new banner and was quite lucky. After being pity-broken by a +ATK -DEF Tana, Jaffar and Tailtiu (gosh!) I almost decided to quit but then I was super lucky to pull +SPD -RES Celica and +RES -HP Hector too. I spent the free 5* on Veronica because my Elise is +ATK -SPD unfortunately. Would love to have Ephraim too, but he will come one day anyway. On top of it all I finally pulled a +ATK Reinhardt. And regarding the past few weeks: Karla (-ATK like Lyn, ugh) and Eldigan as free summons during those everyday banner days and +DEF HF!Elincia, three Ishtars (one +ATK -SPD), L!Chrom, NY!Camilla and +SPD -HP Nowi (which I feel is a bit better than my +DEF -RES in current arena). One more Nowi to go until I have her at +10 like A!Tiki and Fae.

Meh. No Hector for me (like always) and I definitely regret sniping for greens because barely any greens showed up. I burned through my 100+ orbs way too fast. I got Sheena three times instead. Only worthwhile thing I got from this banner is LA!Lyn with good IVs. My old one was -ATK, but now she's +SPD -HP and actually an option for my teams. L!Ike is WB fodder, though I'm not sure who wants it in my barracks currently. I finally got Myrrh too, but of course she had to be -ATK +HP. Now I'm not sure if she is still decent enough or Hone Dragons fodder to one of my other dragons? That's also the first time I pulled a dragon with bad IVs. I guess the day I pull Y!Tiki, she will end up the same. The connection issues at the start of the banner were great too. I pulled a green orbs, app shut down, and when I got back in the summoning session was skipped and I saw a sweet Gunter.

I'm slightly salty that Lloyd and Ursula are no bonus units. I already planned to finally do something with Lloyd and bring out Ursula as a pseudo-Reinhardt. I will use a team of Linus, Karel and Jaffar and max HM with the old Nino before I replace her with the new one. Not really interested in Kanas, but maybe I'll switch him with Karel every other round. Savage Blow shenanigans with my +DEF Jaffar will be lots of fun.

This game... That one time I decide to spend 1 orb on the last blue orb remaining it gives me my second Olwen. She's +SPD, so I can merge her into my existing Olwen and she's a lot of fun with Swift Sparrow now. Then I pulled a +DEF -SPD Sonya who felt a lot worse than my neutral Sonya (Res Ploy fodder for Fae at least) and to make me feel even more miserable: Nino with -ATK +DEF... I shouldn't have complained about all my mages coming with -RES. Ugh. Funny enough, I would have loved to get a Karla for meme team with Bartre, Fir and Karel, but whatever. This game knows which units you want most anyway, so that's why I got like 2 red orbs in 4 sessions. At least I still sit on a comfortable 40 orbs.

Next week's bonus units are scary. I don't think I will be able to stay in Tier 20 with Alfonse. Eww.

+ATK -RES W!Chrom and +SPD -RES Sigurd and this banner is over for me. I'll merge Sigurd into my +HP Sigurd. I guess Xander or Valter would appreciate Close Defense 3, but given how Sigurd was the sole reason I was able to beat F!Robin on Infernal, good IVs on him are much more appreciated. I don't see much need for Chrom outside of AA unfortunately because I don't need more Axes, especially not armors because I've got both Hectors, Amelia, Sheena and W!Lissa. I wish I would have pulled a better Gunnthra, Innes, Y!Tiki, Hardin or even NY!Azura, but I need to save up orbs for whatever is to come in the future.

I'm not having much fun playing this game at the moment, so yesterday I just couldn't motivate myself doing more than a few runs. Currently I'm just stockpiling feathers and orbs and have no idea what to do with them. Ninian already maxed HM with the few runs I did yesterday, so now I'm running a team of OG!Marth, Sanaki (who will both max HM soon too), P!Inigo and Linde. Marth was granted his refinement for the TT and it's fun using my Fury 3 + Desperation build + Close Defense 3 seal. He's +DEF also and really bulky now. My Sanaki is -ATK +RES and is probably one of the few units that are still good to go with a -ATK bane. My Lilina is a lot better than her now, but Sanaki is a great RES tank and Glacies makes up for her lower (and still great) attack. I was also a bit disappointed when I pulled Linde instead of Ishtar, but I gave Linde LaD3 and now I really appreciate her and with Aura and Breath of Life 3 she's a good pseudo healer as well. I'd like to give her Desperation, but I only have one Shanna left and can't seem to pull her any longer. Now I just have to decide which red horse to dust off once Marth and Sanaki have to leave my team and the other Marth has to join my team for points...

I used to sit comfortably in the middle of Tier 20, now I'm frightened to drop out again... Rank 5131 currently with 3636. I could bait for 5 matches with 728 points, but I haven't gotten anything higher this week which sucks. Last week I still got matches above 730 points.

Xander's down now too and I didn't even need to try a new strategy with Clair. I just used the same team I used for F!Robin with Caeda (unequipped Fury 3, forgot the seal unfortunately), L!Robin (Goad Fliers + QR3), Est (Hone Fliers + Drive Attack 2) and Minerva (Ward Fliers + Drive Defense 2). I repositioned Caeda buffed by Est with L!Robin during the first turn, she tanked Xander and killed him next round. Then I repositioned every one to safety, the green horse attacked Est while L!Robin tanked and killed both the healer and the blue lance. Next round Est took on the red sword while Minerva took care of the remaning green mage. This was surprisingly easy now with the correct buffs... Before I repositioned Caeda with Est all the time. So it was just one tiny step I had to change up for victory. Can we get new GHB quests now? (Or maybe not... I'm not sure if I want to fight F!Takumi with fliers on Infernal, would that even be possible?)

I got all of these units except Ishtar, but I think I will use my Ike again after ages. I remembered how desperately I tried to pull for him on this banner last year, even bought orbs and all I got was Lilina and Roy. Then some time later he was my first free 5* pull, so he deserves some time to shine again now. I didn't use Amelia for some time either, but I think Ike scores more.

IS knew I wanted Ishtar, so they gave me Linde (+DEF -RES, ouch), Lene (neutral) and Ares (+DEF -RES, like his dad) in the same session. I try not to be too salty. After all, Linde is like one of the rarest units and pretty good too anyway. It's just the shame that she's +DEF -RES like almost every good mage I pull.

Why didn't they reduce the needed wins for AA as well? Today I was so unlucky that I always lost on my last battle and it was almost always a match against Lilina. She's become so deadly... I couldn't stay over 5100 points unfortunately. I think I'll have to focus on a 4th +10 project now. Have to decide between Nino (+8), Lilina (+6) Caeda (+5), Est (+5) or Raven (+4). Hmm. Did they change the matchups for normal Arena again too? It felt like I my score range was a bit lower than last week. I hope 3632 is still enough to sit comfortably in the middle of T20.

I finally did it with my fliers! I gave L!Robin the QR3 seal and gave her A Support with Caeda, then she received both flier buffs by Caeda and Est and Minerva's Ward Fliers and Drive Defense 2 seal gave her enough bulk to tank the map. Looking forward to try out Xander again now... I doubt the same tactic works there, but maybe Clair with her shiny new weapon changes things up a bit now.
