  1. Huh, so the knight is red is known as the "Flame Emperor", as VincentASM pointed out. ?
  2. Thani had this to say about this reveal (copy-pasted here if you can't access Reddit): Source:
  3. Three Words: Death Metal Retsuko (from Aggretsuko). The mental image of Pent screaming death metal is hilarious.
  4. Not sure this is the right thread, but it appears the latest Nintendo Dream magazine is focusing on Fire Emblem: Three Houses. There might not be new info, but I think it's still worth looking into if someone can get their hands on a copy. EDIT: 8 Pages dedicated to Three Houses
  5. Let me take a stab at the plot. "Three Houses" isn't going to be Trails of Cold Steel Emblem, Hogwarts Emblem, or Persona Emblem, but rather "What if we put something like Bloodborne's Healing Church in a Fire Emblem game and how does that affect everything?". That said, I think the final boss isn't going to be the dragon who is responsible for the corruption of the crests, but rather a god, Lovecraftian abomination, or greater entity responsible for corrupting the dragon that causes the events of the game to transpire. We've seen dragons pull the strings in most Fire Emblem games, but what if something else was behind the dragon?
  6. Not if the person or party who set this all up decided to create attention by claiming to have "discovered" the search results. I am suspicious because the links that the advertisements were showing never existed. 7. Several people have busted the theory. The most definitive is from a thread by an employee who works for Google Ads.
  8. Well, US Gamer's editor-in-chief claimed to know someone who has played a demo of the game. Whether that demo is for E3, press-only, and/or is to be distributed to the public is not clear. And not all demos make it to the general public.
  9. Anyone think we're getting a demo?
  10. Don't ask voice actors if they are involved in a game prerelease, as you might get them into huge amounts of trouble (NDA violations and union issues).
  11. Edelgard definitely does not sound like Cristina Vee in the February direct.
  12. Network Test is coming, as well as a few impressions on the game from some outlets. Still very cautious about the game. 13. Hmm. With Kasumi from Persona 5 Royal revealed, she is most likely the identity of the ever-mysterious "Jane". Anyway, a prominent modder in the Smash community offered his thoughts on Jane a few days ago. Thoughts? 14. Not everything Sakurai posts should be taken as a hint. Remember people looking too much into the Rathalos image and believing a Golden Sun rep is in?
  15. Ah, let's examine the Japanese voice actors and some of their past roles! Byleth (Male) - Yusuke Kobayashi (Natsuki Subaru from Re:Zero, Zenji Murai from Food Wars, Caules Yggdmillenia from Fate/Apocrypha ) (Suddenly, the revive mechanic makes a lot of sense.) Byleth (Female) - Shizuka Ito (Luviagelita Edelfelt from Fate/Stay Night, Emma from Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, Irina Jelavic from Assassination Classroom) Edelgard - Ai Kakuma (Flora from Fire Emblem Fates, Rossweisse from High School DxD) (Hopefully, with no blue hair, Kakuma's character can head to barbecues without problems!) Dimitri #1 - Takehito Koyasu (Niles from Fire Emblem Fates, Navarre from Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon, and more Fire Emblem characters...., Dio from Jojo's Bizzarre Adventure) Dimitri #2 - Kaito Ishikawa (Genos from One Punch Man, Nero from Devil May Cry, Gunvolt from Azure Striker Gunvolt) Claude - Toshiyuki Toyonaga (Yuri Katsuki from Yuri on Ice, Mikado Ryugamine from Durarara, Asahi Shiina from Free) Geralt - Akio Otsuka (Garon from Fire Emblem Fates, Rider from Fate/Zero, Snake from Metal Gear Solid) (Hopefully he can be a better dad here) Sothis - Tomoyo Kurosawa (Phosphophyllite from Land of the Lustrous, Itsuki Inubozaki from Yuki Yuna Is A Hero, Kumiko Omae from Sound! Euphonium)
  16. Haven't been able to play Sekiro for some time because of being busy IRL, but the "you cheated not only the game’" meme the game produced due to its difficulty-accessibility debate is glorious.
  17. Full voices posted. EN Haar is Jake Eberle (Caineghis). JP Haar is Takuya Eguchi (Kazuya Kujo from Gosick)
  18. Third statement: "Berserk" would like to have a word with you. There's a reason why people think the manga/anime played an influential role on Miyazaki. Honestly, I am not really that bothered by Code Vein's art direction. Maybe because some of God Eater's stylish and over-the-top sensibilities are in this game and are things that Dark Souls, Bloodborne, and others wouldn't be able to do. From what it looks like, Vein's gameplay borrows quite a bit from God Eater, so I do think it makes some sense for the game to have the aesthetic of its sister game (or is it daughter game because I called Vein the lovechild of Bloodborne and God Eater?). But then again, you're reading this from someone who found Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance to be too over-the-top for a realistic military setting despite really enjoying the game. But then again, Metal Gear had some pretty over-the-top sensibilities within its realistic aesthetic.
  19. Code Vein more or less has the art style and aesthetic of God Eater, which isn't all that surprising since the developer of those games is also working on this title. I think @Slumber meant that he doesn't like the God Eater art style and aesthetic as he feels it clashes with the general setting of this game. I don't think he takes issue with it having an anime art style; I think he feels that God Eater's art style isn't the best choice for this game. Perhaps Junji Ito or Kentaro Miura's art style would have been his personal choice. He can correct me if I am wrong though or to clarify things.
  20. Koyasu is the John Ratzenberger/Alan Tudyk of Fire Emblem. He's going to voice a character from each installment/continent (I think he already voices someone in Three Houses). Haar seems to be the one playable Tellius character that makes the most sense for him to voice in my opinion .
  21. I am sorta mixed on this game. This game has a very interesting concept and setting, especially with the usage of an AI-controlled companion to guide you. That plus the anime artstyle setting makes me eye this game. But from what I seen and heard from people online, gameplay isn't too hot and appears to be drastically inferior to the Soulsborne games and Nioh. I hope that Bandai Namco and Shift are using this delay efficiently to significantly improve upon the game and exceed expectations because I believe Code Vein can, like Nioh, become a very worthy take on Soulsborne if it hits its cylinders properly. I am not fully sold on the story and characters, though I think the developers are better off focusing on improving gameplay. Code Vein also needs to be careful where it assigns its release date. It's previous September-October release date put it right into competition with DQXI, Spider-Man, Assassin's Creed Odyssey, and Fifa 19, all of which would have literally eaten the game alive. If Code Vein puts itself into the path of games like any of Nintendo's major releases (Fire Emblem: 3H, Astral Chain, Link's Awakening, Animal Crossing, etc.), Halo MCC PC release, Pokemon, MKXI, Gears 5, or Borderlands 3, its going to be a battle that it will lose hard. Don't get me started if Vein ends up competing with Sony's Death Stranding, TLOU2, or Ghost of Tsushima. A fight between this game and Sekiro would have been a bloodbath for the former.
  22. And here's the Japanese voice actors. Ranulf: Tatsuhisa Suzuki (Alfonse, Berkut) Lethe: Naomi Ozora (Ylgr) Mordecai: Akinori Egoshi (Ignatius) Caineghis: Hiroshi Shirokuma (Gazef Stronoff from Overlord) In regards to Haar, I'll laugh if he is voiced by Takehito Koyasu.
  23. Dropping Gallia upon us, eh? Here's the English voice actors. Ranulf: Armen Taylor (Deusolbert Synthesis Seven from Sword Art Online: Alicization) Lethe: Kirsten Day (Natalya/Wisp from Arena of Valor) Mordecai: Jason Vande Brake (Lightforged Draenei from World of Warcraft) Caineghis: Jake Eberle (Sendak from Voltron: Legendary Defender)
