@SatsumaFSoysoy That was some impressive use of Guidance to help position your units around. Miracle Nyx continues to look like a good build. I don't really have that many dagger units built up in Heroes so I don't really know what the best inheritable dagger weapon would be and Kaze's default barb shuriken is decent enough until he gets a prf weapon.
@GuiltyLove That was a nice clear with you aerial royals team.

Went true neutral with my Fates team against Sothis but Corrin still did the bulk of the work since her legendary alt is so good and fun to use. A shame Kaze and Silas don't have prf weapons yet but I'm sure they will be coming soon in the coming months.

By competitive do you mean like Online Ranked battles, Smogon, etc then no it's not that crazy (that's more like what Radical Red tried to do) but the difficulty is still a step above the mainline games. Gym Leaders, Galactic Admins and Rivals add least have a full team and have held items on their mons. I would say it is about as difficult as Sacred Gold/Storm Silver if you played that and mentioned it but with things like fairy type and moves from later gens like Scald added in.

I liked what I saw. Personally I think Renegade Platinum (a romhack) is the best iteration of the Sinnoh games but I will still check out BDSP. I'm not expecting too much of a challenge but I think it would be fun to do something like an all flying type run or something like that. Nice to see that it looks like they are using the Platinum pokedex since I saw Pokemon such as Houndoom and Scizor there.
Legends Arceus still peaks my interests. I liked the new regional variants and the game looks like it runs much better than what they showed off previously. Curious to see what Hisuian Arcanine looks like or if Growlithe will evolve into something else. I found it interesting that the Hisui apparently has Kantonian Vulpix in it. Personally I think it Alolan Vulpix would fit a cold region like Hisui/Sinnoh better but oh well.]
Overall I'm excited to play the new Pokemon games. Will probably have to dust off my Switch since I haven't used it in two years.

My guess is the Legendary Hero will be colorless and the rest of the slots will be filled out by this year's fallen heroes since there is room for all of them and the remaining blue spot will be filled by Ingrid or Farina.

Didn't do much summoning but all I got was Gatekeeper, two copies of Marianne and a pity braking Sara. Ironically the only Brave characters I summoned were the ones I don't care for. I think in the forty summons I did I only got five blue orbs, somehow green and colorless were the most common colored stones I got. Only copies of Brave Eirika I got was the spark and the free summon. I'll take it as a sign that I should save orbs for later or something else.

Eirika is easily my favorite of the bunch here even though she kind of looks like the lovechild of Lyn and Ephraim. But hey at least she is sporting a ponytail here which is a plus to me since I do love ladies with ponytails. I do remember making an offhanded comment once about Brave Eirika being modeled off Ephraim but I didn't think they would actually do it. As for her class and skills lance cavalry is an oversaturated class but I never did get Ingrid so Eirika can fill the hit and run cav tactic. Nice to see Eirika and Marth getting prf skills despite being second place. Also to my understanding next month's Limited Hero Battles is Sacred Stones vs L!Julia so B!Eirika will be helpful there.
The others I could care less about. Marianne has nice fodder at least, Marth is yet another sword infantry with a bunch of effects thrown into his weapon prf skills and Gatekeeper...has a neat attack animation at least.
So for me as always CYL banners are not the most exciting especially since Marth is yet again a sword infantry but Brave Eirika looks neat at least. Also doesn't help that CYL banners usually means BST increase and newer units afterwards getting more wacky with more very powerful weapons and skills but oh well.

@SatsumaFSoysoy Nice clear! Nyx looks quite powerful and Brave Celica is great as always. I have added music to my clears in the past but I don't do it as often anymore.

@GuiltyLove I was wondering how you would get around all the bow units with your flying team. Nice to see you were able to pull it off!
@Landmaster Another win for the Elise team. It was impressive that you took out the mob close to Ullr on the bottom of the screen without being in her attack range.

This map was easy to clear in one turn once I realized the green armored unit was close enough for NY!Anna to snipe. Especially since dealing with the enemy reinforcements on this map was not fun to work around.

I just think she could be infantry or cavalry since both of her classes had those movement types in her game.
I don't think they will make Sacred Stones's Excalibur colorless since every other continent's Excalibur (Archanea, Valentia and Elibe) is green in Heroes especially with the whole wind element associated to it. I'm still hoping to see infantry green tome Eirika since to this day I still lack good green units in my barracks compared to red and blue.

My prediction is
- Sword Cavalry Marianne
- Lance Infantry or Armored Gatekeeper
- Green Tome Infantry (stealing Sacred Excalibur from Jehanna) or Staff Cavalry (stealing Latona from Rausten) for Eirika though maybe if Gatekeeper isn't going to be a lance unit like everyone is expecting I could see Eirika getting a lance alt here and basing it on her close relation to Ephraim.

Colorless Tome or Staff Marth though I still think it would be funny if they had him be a Lance Flier using
Win SpearWing Spear and riding a Pegasus or Wyvern while wearing an outfit inspired by Caeda's Pegasus Knight garb
Even though Marth, Eirika and Marianne all have an equal chance to end up being a sword here I kind of hope if anyone gets it here its Marianne even if her outfit is based on the Holy Knight class since Marth and Eirika already has three alts of them using swords. I just hope Marth and Eirika get something new and unique and not have them using weapons and class type they already use in Heroes like they did with the Three Houses and Valentia CYL winners from previous years.
My free pick is still going to be between Marth or Eirika depending on which one looks more unique to me. Probably won't be pulling much on the banner itself though I do wonder if they are going to have that feature where you can free summon four times like they did with last year's CYL banner.

@SatsumaFSoysoy I found it amazing that you left Eliwood for last. Great clear! Yeah, Dive Bomb was locked behind a seasonal unit for so long until recently so it is not an easy skill to get. I pulled Pirate Tibarn once but I have been indecisive of who to fodder Dive Bomb off to.

Not sure if a Fates banner needed an OC on it, specially one who is not a Mythic, but oh well. I see everyone here as fodder more than actually wanting them as units. Frenzy is a new speed dodging skill but I'm not sure if it will be better than Spurn. It might be good for one turn strategies. Not sure if I will summon on this banner. Contemplating saving orbs for when V!Palla shows up on a banner again. Also there's Pirates 2.0 (or maybe something else in August), Marth and Eirika coming on CYL5 next month and possibly Nyna showing up when Archanea gets a new banner. Maybe I should save orbs after all.
I guess it is safe to say Nott's banner will be the one who will win the revival rerun when it gets around to them. Or at least to me it looks like Nott's banner is better than Nifl's banner.

@Landmaster Great clear with Nowi and the kids. Nice to see OG Nowi still holds up well. Evil Morgan seems to just shrug everything off.

Eh, I stopped caring about AR (and any mode that involves fighting other people's units) a long time ago. It always seems to be difficult no matter what time I play it. PvP modes just got too stressful for me to bother with them. I just do the bare minimum and somehow I seem to end up in VoH every other week.
Really the only time I care about playing Heroes these days is when a new Abyssal mode map comes out or when a character I like shows up on a new banner

- Zoroark during Smash 4
- Eevee at really any point
- Azura during Smash 4 DLC or Ultimate, especially if Corrin wasn't added
- Yu Narukami during Smash 4
- Zero (Megaman) during Ultimate if he wasn't an Assist Trophy
- Warrior of Light or Black Mage as early as Brawl I believe

I remember this map being hard if you didn't get rid of Eliwood or the blue dragon on the first turn. Thankfully it's Awakening units this time and I have plenty of characters from that game built up so this map was easy for me. Was even able to clear it in one turn after giving Anna a Ridersbane since it was the only way to one shot the axe cav.

They don't happen often but there have been times they showed trailers on Saturdays. I think the trailer will most likely be Friday but wanted to throw out the possibility it could be Saturday since IS also likes to wait until to last possible monent to release a trailer.

I would say maybe but unlikely that the trailer will come tonight. I think Friday or even Saturday is when the next trailer will come out since the banner will be out on Monday.

Assuming the next new heroes banner is Fates I'm guessing the banner will be Conquest themed just by looking at the top 5 missing units from CYL4 (Base Charlotte, Nyx, Dwyer, Anna and Orochi) and CYL5 (Base Charlotte, Nyx, Dwyer, Orochi and Scarlet).
My guess is that the banner will have Charlotte as axe infantry, Benny as a lance armor (and be a five star exclusive with a save skill), Dwyer as a staff cavalry (and be sucky demote unit) and Sophie as a sword cavalry. Personally though I would like the banner to be Charlotte, Anna, Nyx and Benny but it probably won't happen since almost every Fates banner has had two adult characters on two child characters on them. GHB unit will probably be any of Hans, Kotaro or Shura with Hans being the most likely.

Seeing that Felicia and Flora BHB in August makes me want to believe we are getting a Fates New Heroes banner later this month. I wonder if they are going to do Pirates 2.0 for August or if they are going to do a different theme. Regardless, it will have a Duo unit whatever it ends up being. Everything else looks to be the standard of what we see every month.

Assuming September's new heroes banner is Awakening I think it would be funny if Kellam got silently added as a 3/4 star unit unit especially if we are getting the rest of the Shepherds on the banner (Miriel, Vaike and Ricken) plus Muspell. Kind of a shame Awakening's banners have OCs tied to them but they really don't have many popular characters left to add unless they want to add Anna again as a Trickster this time which I would be happy to see but I'm not expecting them to do that.
Missed that bit on Friday about CYL6 but my thoughts are that I don't think we will see a Heroes character winning there. For the most part I believe Three Houses characters will still dominate (Both genders of Byleth, Felix, Yuri, Bernadetta and Hilda) with the only outliers being Chrom and maybe Female Corrin if people don't want all the winners being from Three Houses.
