  1. Yep, since payday is tied to the luck stat you will want Luck +20 to make your luck stat as high as possible. If you have gotten the Amped weapon attribute from the Awakening DLC you can put it on your weapons to raise luck (and all the other stats) as well. If you are going to use Lyn I do at least recommend pairing a mounted unit to her just in case you need to move around the map faster.
  2. The History Map Princess Miverva has a Lv.78 Gold Rush. I have been running Elise with Payday through that stage multiple times and get about 100,000 gold each time. The history maps from Awakening probably has a higher level Gold Rush map but I haven't seen or played much of those maps yet. I have also heard that the Knorda Market history map has a Lv.104 Pincer Escape stage that is good for exp and gold but I haven't tested it myself yet (I'm way behind on doing and finishing SD's and Awakening's history maps).
  3. If we are talking about a level from each game... Conquest: Chapter 19 because I always find the kitsune (with their beastbane skill) and their illusions more annoying than the ninja underground dungeon that came two levels before it. Birthright: I only played this route once but I remember Chapter 23 being annoying because of Camilla sitting on a dragon vein the entire level and requires you to be very strategic with how you position you units otherwise you will get zapped and get picked off by whatever enemy unit is nearby. Revelation: Chapter 24 since it might just be me but I dislike stealth missions and the level basically requires you to use only one or two units with the locktouch skill. Plus if you are playing it for the first time a certain character tries to trick you at the end of the level.
  4. True, besides a second Xenoblade rep, a Pokémon from the latest generation another character from the retro age and maybe another FE character plus an ARMS character I can't really think of any other big name Nintendo character at the top of my head without it going into wtf territory. It's going to be a long twelve weeks until we see smash at e3 unless Nintendo talks about it during April or May.
  5. I just unlocked Olivia's Sword and Tharja's Hex and I find it amusing that their weapons start at 160 power like Aura and Hauteclere when everyone else's weapons are at 80 base power. Especially since I was kind of expecting Missiletainn and maybe Thoron to start off stronger than the named weapons.
  6. I was wondering when people were going to start 'leaking' stuff for Smash Switch. Ice Climbers returning feels like a pretty safe prediction. I'm not sure how I feel about heavy 3rd party representation though. I'm worried that means we won't see that many newcomers from Nintendo's own franchises.
  7. Best Luck: The first Heroes fest I got all the focus units (Ryoma, Takumi, Hector and x2 Azuras) within 100 orbs. War of the Clerics was pretty generous as well since it gave me two Elises within 30 orbs. The second Valentia TT banner also gave me plenty of Celicas, Deltheas and Sonyas. Worst Luck: Spent way too many orbs on Performing Arts banner and Legendary Ike banner to end up with no PA Azura who was the only unit I wanted on those banners. CYL banner also left me with none of the focus units. Fallen Heroes banner gave me a Karel instead of M!Grima.
  8. Female Robin/Grima is kind of tempting since I never got the male counterpart plus she is a colorless flying dragon but I need to save orbs if I'm right in assuming a certain someone is being put on the Bridal 2.0 banner. She will be back on another legendary banner anyways.
  9. SD: Camus for Lance Paladin moveset Awakening: Either Gaius for thief moveset or A!Tiki/Nowi for stone moveset. Fates: Silas for Sword or Lance Paladin moveset and Kaze (would like to see a dagger moveset but they would of most likely given him a sword and be done with it)
  10. I might be the only one who thinks this but I would like to see something more akin to Adventure Mode in Melee. The levels in SSE just seemed generic or dragged on for too long and I thought Melee's Adventure Mode had some interesting levels like Mario one and the references it had in the background or the how the Metroid level had you escape the with a heavy time limit.
  11. I'm happy to see Azura and Olivia having a support conversation. I was hoping those two would talk to each other and to see Azura talk to someone else besides Lords plus Ryoma/Xander. Speaking of new supports I'm hoping to see Chrom and Owain with one to parallel Lucina's and Lissa's support. Owain and Tiki could be fun to see as well as I could see it being similar to his support conversations with Cynthia back in Awakening. Olivia and Anna could be amusing too if only to hear Karen Strassman talk to herself and to continue the tradition of each DLC pack having a voice actor talk to themselves.
  12. Not sure who I would pick for top 10 since there are only like 4 or 5 characters I would like to see but here goes... Anna (Fire Emblem) Shovel Knight (Shovel Knight) Jack Frost (Atlas/SMT) Sceptile or Decidueye (Pokémon) Alm or Celica (Fire Emblem) Waluigi (Mario) Toad (Mario) Eevee (Pokémon) Insert Xenoblade rep Insert DK rep
  13. Only 5 new games interest me at the moment Fire Emblem 16/Switch Persona Q2 (Assuming Atlas hasn't scrapped it completely just to focus on the dancing games) Super Smash Bros Switch Bloodstained Ritual of the Night Megaman 11
  14. Surprised to see the Awakening DLC coming out tomorrow instead of next week. I have been looking forward to playing as Owain despite him being a Ryoma clone but at least his specials will most likely have him doing something dramatic. Olivia will probably be interesting to play as well. Cordelia's Dark Falcon costume looks nice on her too since I wasn't a fan of her wearing pink with her Falcon Knight promotion. Chrom's and Lissa's costumes look nice as well and makes sense for choices. I'm also kind of wondering if Celica will get a support with one of these DLC characters this time if we assume that her, Anna and Lyn are this game's bonus characters and since Anna had one with Oboro in the Fates DLC and Lyn had one with Navarre in the SD DLC.
  15. Let's see here... Archanea: Camus (Paladin, new lance moveset) Merric (Mage, Linde's moveset) Wolf (Bow Knight , new bow moveset) Awakening: Severa (Bow Knight, Wolf's moveset), Inigo (Hero, new axe moveset,) Adult Tiki (Manakete, new stone moveset, maybe have her moveset revolve around doing partial transformations unless Corrin is the only dragon who can do that) Fates: Kaze (Daggers, new weapon type), Silas (Cavalier, Camus' moveset) Felicia (Daggers, original moveset or shared with Kaze) Others: Alm (Fighter, new sword moveset or Chrom's moveset) Eliwood (Lord, Xander's moveset) Hector (Lord, new axe moveset)
  16. I think Emperor Hardin was unlikely to happen from the start since he only shows up in Mystery of the Emblem and Warriors only took inspiration from Shadow Dragon where he was only a Cavalier if I remember correctly. Plus people are probably just now remembering Hardin due to him being put in Heroes recently. Agreed on Camus though since he seems to be more memorable than Cain, Abel and Gunter plus Camus would be the perfect rep for a lance cavalier and it would be easy to slap Gradivus as his prf weapon.
  17. Recently found out Aigis is one of the new DLC characters so it's not just limited to the Investigation Team from Persona 4. Also, Jubei from Blazblue and Carmine from Under Night In Birth are also part of the second DLC pack. Kind of surprised to see Jubei there since I think he was only playable in Central Fiction which I never played.
  18. I know that except they still excluded him due to said time-constraints and most likely because Ike was more of a priority to them at the time who played massively differently from Marth and Roy. Like I said, they already cut him out twice and depending on how different Smash Switch is compared to Smash 4 and how much development time they were given I wouldn't be surprised if they had to cut him a third time. But really my honest opinion is if he is there at least his fans will be happy, if Roy is absent again I won't miss him.
  19. Bowser's Castle from the Mario series. It could be an autoscrolling level like the Mushroomy Kingdom stage and players get attacked enemies normally found in castles like Lava Bubbles, Dry Bones, and Thwomps and at the end of the level players get attacked by an 8-bit Bowser. Maridia or Tourian from Metroid since we had Brinstar and Norfair stages before. From Pokémon I would like to see a stage from Kanto/Johto like Cerulean Cave, Mt. Silver, or Lake of Rage since we already had stages based on Sinnoh/Unova/Kalos. I wouldn't mind seeing Sky Pillar from Hoenn either since I could it operating like Prism Tower with everyone riding a platform to the top and then the players getting attacked by Rayquaza. If Corrin comes back I would like to see a stage based on Fates like the Hoshidan Plains, Bottomless Canyon or maybe even Shirasagi Throne Room with Garon and/or Takumi as stage bosses.
  20. Robin is the most likely to stay. Their tomes and moveset gimmick makes them completely unique compared to the other playable FE characters. Being one of the most popular characters from Awakening and FE in general helps too. Corrin is also very likely to stay. Their dragon shapeshifting abilities also helps make them unique and gives them an edge compared to the other sword lords. Female Corrin is also fairly popular (she's usually in the top 10 for most official FE polls) and I can also see her being the default (P1) for Smash Switch. Roy is the least likely to stay. His moveset just looks way too similar to Marth's and the Smash devs were clearly willing to cut him in both Brawl and Smash 4 before being DLC and I wouldn't be surprised to see Roy cut a third time just to add another FE character (who is hopefully not wielding a sword).
  21. I'm pretty sure Tharja using light magic is just Koei taking creative liberties just like everyone else's moveset in this game and also because they didn't want to make a new Strong 6 just for her.
  22. Jigglypuff was about as popular as Pikachu in Japan back in the early days which probably contributed to why it has been in Smash since the first game. Besides, I don't see why people complain about Gen 1 having more character slots since it is the most iconic for the franchise and every new smash game adds a Pokemon from the current generation: Melee-Pichu, Brawl-Lucario, Smash 4-Greninja, Smash Switch-Most likely a Gen 7 mon.
  23. Was also going to point out that it was their default hair color and its the same as Validar's but several people already said it. Male Morgan also wields Grima's Truth just to further link it together.
  24. Yeah, it looks more likely to be the 29th now. It still kind of sucks that we will have to wait till the end of the month but...oh well. It just didn't make sense to me to have the special maps in Heroes available this week if the DLC wasn't launching a couple weeks later.
  25. Olivia and Cherche are bonus units huh. Good thing I have both of them as +10 4-stars. Along with FMorgan I'll have 3 units with boosted stats this time. This TT should be a great time for me!
