  1. Has anyone figured out the most optimal A-slot skill for Fallen Celica? Mine has a +Spd nature and I have been trying to decide between giving her Fury, Swift Sparrow or Steady Breath.
  2. Ok lets see here... Xander/Cecilia Reinhardt/Brave Lyn: I feel like everyone pair these two together. Leo/Titania: These two always seem to have each others back when I use them. Black Knight/Hector: These two always bait the enemy into for my armor team and does well with distant counter and quick risposte on their skills. Arden/Effie- These two always looked nice together to me. NY!Azura/H!Nowi: Flying Seasonal units I guess? Cordelia/Cherche Ephraim/Tharja- Anything for blade tome boosts Eirika/Tailtiu: These two took care of everything during the Genealogy TT. Y!Tiki/Nowi: Decided to give younger Tiki a friend that will live as long as she will. Anna/Delthea: I don't know...Delthea always seem to look like a younger version of Anna to me.
  3. I'm pretty sure Jamieson Price is the voice for Hawkeye, Zephiel and even Virion but he is credited as Taylor Henry in Heroes. Speaking of the original topic I would also like to hear Johnny Young Bosch voice a Fire Emblem character since it seems every other voice actor I know voices someone in Heroes but him. Also Brian Beacock, Dan Woren, Tara Platt, Steve Stanley, Derek Stephen Prince, Tony Oliver and Sean Chiplock.
  4. Already spent 150 orbs on the fallen heroes banner only to get two Celicas with +Spd/-HP on one of them. I'm kind of happy to have her since I like Celica but I would like to get at least one Grima just so I have a green unit for my dragon or armor team.
  5. Yeah, like @Water Mage said, it's unlikely Laura Bailey will reprise her roles as Platinum and presumably Rise in this game especially since she didn't come back to do Lucina's/Palla's voice in recent Fire Emblem games. I expect Alexis Tipton will take her place as Platinum though similar to how Matthew Mercer can impersonate Troy Baker's voice I know Tipton's pretty good at impersonating Bailey's voice.
  6. The way I see it Armor Strike is a risk vs reward type of skill but for the most part the skill is probably not worth it, especially since you need to activate a critical hit on every single general/boss/leader you want to use on while all it takes for the AI to do is hit you once with a strong attack. By the time you do get a critical hit the enemy probably lost half of its health/close to being defeated anyways unless you are really underleveled so I don't see how cutting their defenses in half helps much. I just feel like there are better options since about half the enemies in the game can be quickly killed by the right slayer skill, breaker skills helps move things along against infantry enemies and the Luna/Luck+20 skills kind of already does Armor Strike's job by ignoring a certain percentage of the enemy's defense at all times. I get through most of the game's higher level missions just fine with just brave weapons plus Chrom's Falchion at true power and right now my mains are anywhere between level 90 and 105.
  7. From my experience I usually use two slayer skills, sword/tomebreaker (though any breaker skill works), Pair Up+ if you use pair ups a lot otherwise Critical+ works and then fill up the rest with your favorite strong attacks. I think Critical Focus is a good skill too, especially on archers and mages. Lissa and Sakura can use topsy turvy as well.
  8. Elise's dual special is her using fire, wind, lightning and light. Her awakening special is her using her staff to cast freeze and then sending a giant heart at her foes. Her regular special I'm not sure since it has her shooting pink lasers but it seems to be dark magic to me. All of Leo's specials revolve around Brynhildr besides his dual special having him use his iceblade. But yeah, it wouldn't surprise me to see Tharja using nothing but dark magic, hexes and such during all her specials.
  9. I don't think it's too bad for Owain considering the rest of his family in this game (Chrom, Lucina and Lissa) are also using lightning in their attacks and if you really want to stretch things his Odin identity in Fates also has him starting off with a Thunder tome so he is kind of affiliated with lightning anyways outside of being a clone of Ryoma.
  10. Yeah, in a way I'm kind of expecting Tharja to end up being another Robin clone. It's just that while the Sorcerer trio do use Robin's attacks their magic is a darker/violet recolor of his/hers moves and I think it would be interesting to see Tharja using a darker recoloring of Linde's moveset and saying its 'dark' magic. I don't know, my head is still kind of stuck in the idea of seeing Linde and Tharja as complete opposites of each other and Tharja being a Robin clone would technically make her the fifth named character with the same moveset. But I see your point. Every spinoff game Robin is in has them using dark magic despite his initial class not being able to do so in their home game and they are Nintendo's go to character for a Fire Emblem Mage rep.
  11. My free pull on BHB banner gave me Cordelia with +Atk/-Res. I don't think I could ask for anything better than that. I'll take it as a sign to use my flier team during the BHB.
  12. For antiair focus it says 'Increases damage versus launched foes'. Not exactly sure what that suppose to mean though.
  13. I forgot to mention bolganone and starlight as well, though nosferatu and starlight only shows up in her specials and Linde's nosferatu is light elemental since that is what is was is her home game.
  14. Tharja could end up going in any direction. She could end up with an entire dark spells only moveset but that was when I thought Linde was only going to use light spells until I saw her using Wind, Blizzard and Thoron. Tharja will probably end up a Robin or even a Linde clone since I'm pretty sure Olivia is a lock for a completely unique moveset.
  15. Isn't there already a thread to talk about mains/favorite characters?
  16. Yeah, but for me if there is a way to finish a game faster or if there is a character/strategy that works better than the other options I usually take said speedier options. I'm not saying people have to use Caeda over Hinoka or Cordelia but its just how I play games these days. I am aware that people don't play the game the same way I do. Besides, I do try to make characters I like as optimal as possible.
  17. I never said Cordelia was bad, she works great with topsy-turvy. It's just that Caeda's stats and personal weapon makes her stand out among the Pegasus Knights.
  18. As much as I prefer using Cordelia over Hinoka and Caeda I kind of doubt Gungnir will get a seventh ability if Aura and Hauteclere didn't. Especially if they choose to base Gungnir from Awakening instead of Genealogy.
  19. I find it interesting that Wing Spear is the only weapon right now in the game that can effectively have three slayer effects. I feel that (along with her high luck) makes Caeda way superior to Cordelia and Hinoka since Wing Spear will have armor/mount slayer (from the Rampager skill) and you can slap dracoslayer on her weapon. Caeda can deal with just about everything now except Fighters/Warriors and Lissa.
  20. To be fair Oboro already had seven support conversations while Niles and Azura only had five.
  21. Hmmm...So I guess SD DLC then end up with two moveset clones after all, at least the questions have finally been answered. Nice to see Linde with her own magic moveset using light magic like I thought she would along with lightning? magic. Still, I am kind of disappointed that I won't be able to play this new content for about 8 hours because that's probably how long it will take for it to download. Sigh, it was the same with Fates DLC as well.
  22. That's pretty much my guess as well. Enlion and Faccina will either get their upgrade in the Awakening DLC or there will be a free update with a new History Map in April or May as some sort of closure to DLC/updates. I personally would find it more ironic for the last History map focusing on them like the Hero Challenge map instead of lumping the Enlion and Faccina upgrade with Awakening's stuff but we'll see.
  23. I assumed Azz was talking about Lissa and Frederick since the question was about Hero Axes but yeah after the next update only eight characters (Lianna, Rowan, Chrom, Lucina, Robin, Lissa, Frederick, and Cordelia) will be without an opus upgrade and half of them still don't have their personal weapon yet. I can't wait to use Anna with a 720 power bow or Caeda with an opus powered Wing Spear. Since I mentioned Wing Spear though, I wonder if it will be possible to put additional slayer skills on since it will already come with a mount/armor slayer effect on it if the datamine on it is correct. I'm assuming not though.
  24. Personally, I think skills like Fury and Armor Strike depends on how you play the game. Characters like Camilla and Tiki benefit from Fury the most if you don't switch characters that often and if your levels are how enough you probably won't need Armor Strike either if you are using Luna/Lethality/Luck+20. I stopped using Armor Strike when Lethality became available. Slayer/Breaker skills also speeds things up and don't require 3000 kills to unlock or reforge onto other weapons. The easiest map to get Hero weapons right now would be A Burden Heart, a Level 90 map on Grief or one of the Level 80 maps if you didn't get the DLC. You get better weapons on higher level maps. Its still a pain to get six slots on Hero weapons though. One of the SD maps will probably have a Level 100+ mission though to make it slightly easier to get Hero weapons.
  25. Whoops, my mistake. You're right, the blessings come with the next update and isn't part of the DLC. I overlooked that somehow.
