    If you are talking about skills like Pair Up+ and Armor Strike then no, you have to do it each time.

    Story Mode Chapter 20 is good because you can grind both supports and materials at the same time

  2. I picked Echoes as my favorite box art. I liked how it had Alm and Celica with their backs up against each other showing that they both chose a different path; with Alm looking forward while holding his sword upward showing he plans to resolve things with fighting while Celica has her sword presumedly planted on the ground and looking downward and holding her hands as if she's praying showing that she wants to rely on the gods to end the war all while their are soldiers lined up in the background.

    Eh, I disagree. I actually thought she was being hinted at when her model was shown off early and she was shown in that collection of pins. Anna as an NPC if anything should have been an even stronger hint towards her being playable. Even in Awakening the player most likely sees an NPC Anna before the recruitable one. Nothing was ever said that suggested she wouldn't be playable.

    I thought she was hinted at being playable as early as when they showed off her concept art alongside Marth and around that time I think something was said on their jp.twitter account like 'there will be characters who appear in this game as NPCs like Anna' which made me think she was being deconfirmed. I could be wrong about that but if I did remember that correctly I could see it as them explaining it away as NPC Anna not being the same Anna as playable Anna just to fool everyone.

    As a playable character Anna can open chests without keys if you forgot to do them the first time through story plus she can be used on any mission that requires you to use characters from a specific game like for example 'Awakening Heroes' or 'Shadow Dragon' only, things like that.

    I mean, I might be one of the few who actually wanted Anna to a playable character in Warriors but bad PR made it sound like she was only going to be a npc.

  5. I'm okay with dragons/manaketes in Fire Emblem. I feel like a Fire Emblem game not having dragons would be like a Zelda game not having fairies/goddesses or a main Mario game not having the Koopa Troop involved. That said I wouldn't mind them changing the role of how dragons/manaketes are used in the story setting. Especially since it is kind of tiring to see the final boss of almost every FE game be an insane, evil dragon god which is why I kind of liked Fates:Conquest's final boss being an archer of things even though an evil dragon was involved in the background.

    I kind of wish Koei stuck with their original idea of giving Rowan and axe and Lianna a lance. It would have made them more unique if nothing else. Especially since Fire Emblem already have more than enough popular sword users to choose from. They could have easily had Darios be a temporary playable character for the tutorial since it seems like Chrom was always going to be unlocked early in the story.

    As for axe users I think most of them are not very popular at worst and divisive at best. Most Fighter/Barbarian class characters don't really stand out that much. The only popular axe user not in Warriors I could think of is Cherche but she probably wouldn't fit in well considering the Awakening characters were pulled into Aytolis well before the Gangrel started messing around with Ylisse.

  7. Not really bummed about no Tellius characters in Warriors. They obviously went with the 'safe' characters that most people would recognize, especially since as someone who only played the 3DS games and have some knowledge of Archanea and Elibe the only Tellius characters I know besides Ike are Elincia and Black Knight and that's mostly due to Smash Bros and Heroes. 

    Besides, the only character from Tellius who ever had a chance to make it on the roster was Ike and I could see them intentionally saving him for a Wave 2 DLC to sell alongside Roy and Alm.

  8. Spent 40 orbs pulling nothing but greens and got NY Azura rather quickly.

     

    She's +HP/-Res, not too bad I guess. Considering the banner will be up for the whole month I might pull for more Azuras later. Other honorable pulls were a better nature Nino with +Spd/-Def, another Cherche to bring up to +7 merges, and more Boeys for whenever I get around to training him.

  9. Yeah, enemies on Hard mode usually have one less unique skill than what they would have on Lunatic or they might only be exclusive to Lunatic mode for some of them. I'm pretty sure 'Rallyman' only has three rally skills on hard mode instead of four and the Chapter 23 Spear Masters only have two Rally skills instead of three. I also know that enemies on Lunatic all have max weapon rank even after you captured them so for example Haitaka has a B-rank in lances and Snipers has S-rank in bows.

  10. It's kind of interesting to see a forum thread about capturing units right after I just finished doing a Lunatic run of capturing mooks with unique skills on them. Anyways, here's a list of units that I captured on my recent playthrough of Lunatic Conquest. I only did the main chapters and didn't bother with the Paralogues.

    I'm assuming the least popular characters will be Lissa and mCorrin, especially if their first opponents are Tharja and Takumi respectively. All the feather mercs will be signing on to one these two most likely.

  12. I decide to check Sereneforest late at night just for the fun of it and I find out that there is another seasonal banner coming and all the units have already been datamined. That was fast.

    Anyways I was expecting to see a blue tome armor unit this time but I'm glad IS decided to give armors a rest for now and are focusing on fliers again.

    Which by the way I'm definitely going to pull for Azura. Not sure why IS seem to have a thing for making Azura an axe unit twice now but I'm always up for more refresher units and I'm still mad that friggin Inigo came and stopped me eight times from getting PA Azura a few months ago.

    I didn't really bother with the Christmas banner because I don't really like using armor units and I saved a bunch of orbs in case I decided to pull on the Legendary banner but I might skip that now too for the New Year banner. I really hope IS don't come out with more new banners before the New Years banner releases.

    Lethality is supposed to make critical hits and even combos stronger. But unlike Luna it's not passive and seems to work how skills would normally activate in a mainline FE game although there is no visual cue that I'm aware of which is why I think people are having difficulties understanding when and if Lethality is activating for them

    Since unlike Luna, Lethality is not always guaranteed to work and runs off the Luck stat characters with low luck like Frederick, Robin and ironically Niles might not benefit from this skill due to their low luck but high Luck characters such as Anna, Marth and Elise are more likely to get use out of Lethality.

    I might try to test out Lethality myself later today or sometime later this week depending on how much free time I have.

    I figured with her really good luck this would turn her into a killing machine with critical hits, but Takumi or Sakura would still probably be more effective overall? I dno.

    I think I read on gamefaq or reddit that Takumi is still slightly better than Anna due to having higher Attack, Skill, and having high Luck as well along with being able to make Fujin Yumi more powerful. Although if Anna ever gets her prf weapon and they keep increasing the level limit I think she could eventually outdue Takumi in the damage apartment.

    Not only that but I think Luna also works well with Lethality and Luck+20 so you could use all three skills together to increase your damage output.

    It's nice to know I wasn't just seeing things.

    Still not really sure what made them decide to change the power of the amiibo weapons but its whatever. Especially since there are better options besides those two weapons.

  16. I would say that both Fates and Echoes are my favorite Fire Emblem games though that might be because besides Heroes and Warriors, I have only played Fates, Echoes and Awakening.

    But if I had to pick one of them...I don't know...Fates I guess? I played a lot of Echoes last summer but once autumn came around I found myself playing Fates again. Fates gameplay and my castle features are addicting and Fates was the first FE I played so I might hold personal bias for it despite what people on the internet say about it.

    I'll probably keep playing Fates every now and again until Nintendo decides to take down the online servers for 3DS.

  17. For me I would say Persona 5 is my GOTY. It's the game I have been looking forward to the most despite years of delays and I'm glad the game met my expectations once it was finally released outside of Japan. The gameplay, music and art is definitely a step up from previous Persona games. I would even say that its tied with Persona 4 as my favorite RPG game.

    My only gripe with Persona 5 is that I am not a fan of the negotiation system with the Shadows in order to acquire new Personas but that might be because I'm used to Persona 4's way of handing Personas out after battle.

    Atk- Delthea and Ike (54) share the number one spot with Ryoma (53) being only one point behind them

    Spd- Anna (43) and behind her is Celica (42)

    Def- Arden (41) again and behind him this time is Young Tiki (39)

    Res- Sonya (36) and behind her is Julia (35)

    Rating- Surprised myself to see Anna (200) at the top but it must be because of Summoner support and number two is Young Tiki (196)

  19. After waiting six hours for the game to update I finally get to use Azura and I must say I really like how she plays. Her water element moveset really fits her. She's the only DLC character I have been looking forward to besides Owain.

    I don't know if her warriors special is supposed to be random but for me it always seems to alternate between her light and dark costume if used multiple times on the same mission.

    I don't remember any special sound effects but I do know that you will get a notification saying Anna spawned on the map with a voice clip of her saying 'ready to go shopping'. You will also see her sprite on the map.

  21. I personally don't use awakening mode that much because I dislike how the game forces the finisher when it wears off but the ones I liked are Anna's ballista attack, Chrom's spear throwing move and I like how Takumi's finisher is a reference to his boss status at the end of Conquest.
