While Renais wasn't entirely human, she was close enough to fit the bill. At the very least she still considered herself one, even if she knew otherwise now. The pinkette turned to Mikoto and Gean. "Don't worry, I'm sure I won't be gone long." She smiled at them both. "Hold the fort down for me, alright? See you both soon." She stepped toward the two and gave Gean a kiss on the cheek along with an arm to nuzzle into her generous aura. "Be safe." After a moment for Gean to take that in, it was Mikoto's turn to take a cheek smooch and a nuzzle. "Later." With one last smile the cleric stepped back and followed behind Marigold, after one last wave to the elusive Evokers.

The climate of Sipa was rather rough, to the point where Renais more or less had a waterskin at her side to take occasional sips. "Mm...we've finally arrived." Islexia. This was where she heard Liza had gone to, it had been quite a journey to this point. Renais had been through a lot, and she had changed quite a bit. She hoped it was for the better, despite the new burdens she had on her shoulders. With a short breath she decided to take her mind off of the pressure and scan the area, she quickly noted that Tio and Elisa were both keeping a low profile through their hoods, which amused Renais as it reminded her of the first time they met. She couldn't keep herself away from her own hood. Speaking of Tio, she still had the white dress on that the Evoker gifted her. Mostly because her school uniform would make her stand out badly here of all places. I must be vigilant... Marigold called for human volunteers to help accompany her to her next location. Renais had been determined to prove herself useful to the Tigers any way she could, and she was quite human (despite her newfound lineage), so the pinkette stepped up to Miria's side and looked Marigold in the eye. "I volunteer as well. My senses are sharper than most for what it's worth. I'll keep an eye out for anything dangerous." The zombie got her attention, she looked determined to help.

When the Dawn found itself under fire, Leon couldn't help but turn to see the damage it took. He's no stranger to vessels under his charge being damaged, and this was a sim...though Leon couldn't help but let out a very annoyed 'tsk'. "...keep it together now, girl." He turned back to the remaining machines before him and charged out to blow off some steam. So he pulled out his shotgun and fired at a nearby Javelin. Leon moves to 13, 12 and fires at Javelin 3 with the AP Slug.

When it was made clear they weren't wounded, Renais was relieved. But she couldn't help but feel a little frustrated at being unable to help them of their exhaustion. "Ah...well I-" But before she could reassure them more, she received hugs from her two partners. It seemed like the Evokers would be out for a while, and even though Mikoto said she was willing to defend the Tigers she was also quite tired. "...mm." So she returned the hug, and did her best to make both of them comfortable. Though despite everyone being alright physically, Renais' frustrations only grew. So much is happening so fast, I can't be as weak as I am for much longer...I need power, I need it... Those thoughts stayed inside her head for once, while she did her best to put on a smile for Mikoto and Gean. "I'm glad everyone is ok..."

Renais still gave a look of concern to her kitsune companion, but as soon as she took a look at the Evokers she knew where she was needed. "...alright, Mikoto. Just don't push yourself, please." She rubbed her shoulder for a brief moment. "I'm not entirely sure what just happened, but I'm glad things worked out." She also hoped they wouldn't have to deal with something like that again, but all things considered she had a feeling they would. Either way, the pinkette picked herself up and quickly rushed to Tio and Elisa. "Tio! Elisa!" She kneeled by their sides. "I'm here. Where does it hurt? What do you need me to do? I'm ready for anything." She lifted her staff up, and did her best to put on a strong face.

Everything happened so fast, and it all spiraled out of control just as quickly. As Renais slowly went back to her seat with Gean, she sensed a spike of magical energy from the group around the sword. Before she could react to that however, Mikoto rushed past the two and told them to stay safe. and it was that point when the pinkette knew the calm had shifted into the storm. Renais' eyes landed firmly before the group as they more or less crowded around the dangerous sword, trying their damnest to save Alvira and Lani. "!" Renais stared in disbelief, even the Evokers and Mikoto had trouble. She huddled close to Gean, despite wanting to help she had to respect Mikoto's wishes. She wasn't sure what she could have done anyway. With enough efforts from everyone around them, Alvira and Lani seemed to be safe now, but the impact had thrown Mikoto and the Evokers against a wall. "MIKOTO!" When Gean rushed off to check the others, Renais rushed to Mikoto's side and kneeled by her. "Mikoto, talk to me...are you alright?" She pulled out her staff. "Wherever it hurts please tell me, I can fix anything!" Though deep down Renais kicked herself for not being able to help, it was a situation beyond her experience and it frustrated her. All the more reason to get stronger, I have to...

When Leon saw the fighter go down, he took a short breath. He took in the situation around him. Markus and Scylla were both roughed up and retreating, and Kazue was still charging straight ahead like a scene from The Last Samurai. Good thing it was a simulation, but either way. "Loud and clear, Capt." Leon pulled back his shotgun and spun his halberd as his bulky machine approached Javelin 6. "HAH!" Leon moves toward 17, 12 and slams down his Heat Halbert onto Javelin 6.

The mermaid was quick to pull her into a kiss, and the pinkette was just as quick to answer. Despite not being well versed in close relationships, Renais was sharp enough to pick up on a few things and follow leads. At the same time, she also knew how to lead herself. "...Mikoto is right." As she answered, she shifted her grip from the mermaid's hand to her arm, and pulled said arm into a soft embrace Gean probably wouldn't forget. "If you have more business to return to then I'll come along, and I won't hear any protests. Ok?"

When the mermaid answered Renais couldn't help but give her a fair stare and a concerned voice. "After this is done? Is this something dangerous?" The pinkette took Gean's hand. "You know how quick I am to pick things up, I'll understand really. At the very least let me be by your side in case something happens."

Renais had returned to the table with a tray of drinks, she was about to settle down but she noticed a commotion near Gean and Miria. While she hadn't paid much attention to the conversation, she did see Escaflowne shine bright, and Gean seemed to be effected by it. She couldn't help but give her mermaid mate a look of concern. "...Gean?" She stepped up to her side and gently put her hand on her back. "Are you alright? What's going on?" She heard something about voices and energy, but she wasn't sure what the context was.

When the Satyr fired off its missile and made impact with Leon he raised the mech's arms and took it head on. "...heh, finally." He couldn't help but grin after the impact. "Time to ROCK!" And off he went into the fray, he pulled out his shotgun and fired on the nearest Javelin. Leon rushed to 18, 9 and fired his shotgun (explosive mode) at Javelin 1.

Kazue getting fired up really lit one in Leon, he enjoyed a good fight, even moreso when his team is into it too. "You're doing great, Kazue! I like your style! I'll be there to back you up soon." Sadly, Leon's chosen loadout made limited his movement. He couldn't join Kazue's rampage just yet. "Until then be patient..." Leon moves to 18, 6

As much as Renais enjoyed herself, she finally decided to let go after a quick kiss on the cheek. "Alright, I'll leave you alone for now. Hope you like hugs." She giggled as she pulled back. "I'm going to go get us some orange juice." The pinkette walked off with a smile on her face, she really did enjoy herself. Though she wondered how Liza would react to her having two girlfriends. "Sis has so much to catch up on..."

When the deed was done, Renais suddenly felt light headed. She leaned on the table with a huff as she tried to stabilize herself. "Mmm..." After a few short moments she felt her strength return, but she saw this as an opportunity. "Hmm I wasn't prepared for this, so I hope you don't mind if I..." She slipped around the table rather quickly and took a seat next to the fox. She pulled her arms around Mikoto and leaned on her back. The soft pinkette embraced her kitsune partner and let her scarf drape over Mikoto's shoulders. "I'm a selfish girl, I know...but let me rest like this for a minute please..." She expected Mikoto to get her back later, but for the moment she wanted to enjoy herself.

Renais could tell Mikoto was uncomfortable, she didn't like forcing this on her. So she freed a hand and put it on her cheek delicately. "I know...you have conflicting feelings right now, about me and Lufiria. I do too. My memories are muddled, and the stories I have are conflicting. That's why I want to find the truth out, together. With you and Gean...and everyone else." She smiled as she let her soft fingers brush her cheek. "So I'll be by your side..." She leaned in to her ear and whispered as softly as she could so Gean wouldn't hear. "Kise..." With that the pinkette leaned back and kept her warm smile. "...oh, and treat my year well. It's in your hands now." She closed her eyes.

"Huh? Offer a year?" Renais was a bit surprised she brought it up now of all times, but then again it made some sense to the pinkette. The situation the Tigers found themselves in had been a dire one, it was a wake up call that the world was much bigger than the group. Tio and Elisa were the only ones who seemed to be in control, but Renais didn't want it that way forever. So she completely related to what Mikoto wanted. "...hmm, it's rather strange. I never imagined I would consider giving you some of my life when we first met...but then again, here we are and I'm already doing just that." She half joked with a small smile, but that smile slowly went back to a serious frown. "I understand how you feel, Mikoto, I really do. It's exactly what I want..." She leaned in close to the fox. "I'll give you my year...but if I may be selfish, I have a condition as well. The training offer is welcome, and I'm willing to take that, but more than that...I want you to trust me as much as I want to trust you." She lowered her voice after that so only Gean and Mikoto would hear her. "And that's why...whatever you decide to do with Lufiria, I want you to discuss it with me first."

Leon got in his HEX and as soon as the hatch closed he took a sigh to himself, relieved he finally had a moment of solitude. "This is some rodeo I got myself in. Majority of these pilots are graduates and testers, I sure got my work cut out for me." When the announcement came to operate and his screens flashed the battlefield, the redhaired man rolled his shoulders a little. "A familiar sight alright, simulated or not." The equipment Leon had on his HEX built him up to be a bruiser, just the way he wanted it. So he was about ready to lead the charge...when he suddenly heard a Japanese battle cry. "...huh?" That was a real shock. The withdrawn wallflower suddenly bloomed out into a wild rose and decided to lead herself. "...ahahaha." He couldn't help but laugh at that, out loud on the comms as well. "How bout that! Well, can't let her go out there alone! Guns ablazin' it is!" With his own shout he turned on his rocket boosters and charged after the martial artist. Leon, with the help of the Rocket Boosters, reaches 22, 6. The boosters are purged off of the heavy machine after, reducing Leon's movement by 1.

Renais did admit it was quite odd she never met Gean before, she wondered why that was. When she went over her time with Lucille, is struck a chord in the pinkette. Like she had been in that situation before. "Hm..." Then Mikoto mentioned the princess' abilities, and the fact that she was well out of reach for everyone here. "...recent events have taught me that we're viewing a grand scope, something I didn't think I'd have to deal with. If we didn't have Tio and Elisa by our sides..." Renais hated the feeling of being helpless, this only motivated her more. Miria of all people was afraid, it's quite alarming but... "...I want to get stronger, Mikoto. I don't just want to heal people, I want to fight as well. I need to get back to training as soon as I can."

The fox and mermaid certainly knew how to comfort Renais, she was a little embarrassed to have so much attention on her, but appreciative nonetheless. "...mm, you two are too good to me." She giggled a little. "Well, the truth is...I think I may have met princess Lucille before. I guess that makes sense, the Rhapsodias were a noble family, I'm just not sure how close we were...or if she even remembers me at all." She shook her head. "But I do remember feeling some amount of fear when you held her hostage, Mikoto. Don't get me wrong, I don't blame you for what you've done, if anything I'm grateful. The fact we all walked away from that healthy and safe was everything I could ask for." She took a sip of her drink. "Still, it really made me wonder how deep I was in Lufiria as a child if I knew the princess personally." She looked at Gean. "Gean, how much do you remember about Lucille? I'm curious."

As soon as Renais entered the room, Gean guided her to their table and there sat the playful kitsune in quite the attractive dress. If Renais wasn't tired she'd probably go nuts again, but Mikoto would have to settle for a small blush. "Mm, thank you Gean..." She took a seat and let her other girlfriend fix her hair slightly. "Last night...mm..." She fixed her shoulder strap and cleared her voice. "It was a good sleep, and orange juice sounds fine Gean thank you." It was certainly a situation to get used to. Renais took this journey to find her sister, but now she was deep in a dangerous plot and she had two lovely ladies that cared about her. Liza's going to have a lot to catch up on... She rubbed her eyes a little. "Oh, we have to talk about something important, Gean, Mikoto. It's...about my memory and the princess." She wanted to bring it up last night but it slipped her mind and was lost to the fluff.

A certain pinkette stepped into the lobby herself, and much like Sari, she was a bit of a mess. Her hair was a barely brushed mess, her dress was a bit sloppy with a shoulder strap off her shoulder, and the most scandalous part of all...her neck carried a few small bite marks here and there. Thankfully that part was mostly covered thanks to a scarf she had with her. Still, it was clear she was a mess. Why was that? Well... After the Dust Settles "...." Renais did her best not to think about the best night of her life, but the blush was very apparent. After a minute she pulled her mind out of the gutter and walked along to get some breakfast. She noticed Sari and Tio not too far off and gave a tiny wave before she continued on to get food.

Mobility was certainly an important factor in combat, so Leon understood why Markus had his choice. He simply nodded to his explanation. "You make good points. If the enemy gets their ass beat by a plane that's only good news for the rest of the squad, right?" When the younger man tried to clear up his misunderstanding with Leon, the redhead just gave a smile. "Don't worry about it man, I just like breaking the ice in my own forward way. But I'll hold back the bros until you get used to me." He gave another nod. "You got a sis huh? I can kinda relate, had two myself...but anywho, I was serious. I'm here to back you guys up. This unit lacks real combat experience, I guess that's why they put me here. I'd rather make the most of this though, so let's go and kick some ass together eh?" With a small chuckle the man waved to Markus and walked off to his own machine.

When Markus began his blinkfest it got Leon rethinking his approach real hard. He still kept his confident grin, but it slightly lowered as the sparkles were replaced with gloominess. "Aha, yeah no worries man..." He wondered what he said to get such a reaction. When the elevator opened up he noticed Markus approach the aircraft in the back, and his eyes widened a little. "...oh, you're the flyboy huh? I'll be damned." Leon was familiar with fighting along side jet pilots, he even controlled one himself a few times in his Blackwell days. "Heh, no worries there. I've backed up wings before, I'll do the same for you. Sure got a strong pair to pick that over a HEX though, mind if I ask why?" He stepped after the younger man.

Leon stepped into the hangar with everyone, and as soon as he did he let out a whistle. "Woo, fancy fancy..." The merc had been in his fair share of ship hangars before, but this one took the cake. "CEN really didn't spare any expense, eh?" He turned to the mechanic that hailed them and responded back with a wave. "Gotcha. We'll be waitin'!" He had to admit, he missed shooting the breeze with the maintenance crew. As he walked along he took a good look at all the HEX units lined up, another familiar sight. That being said, a certain plane stood out to him right away. Hang on a sec...an aircraft? Don't that beat all... He wondered who would be crazy enough to pilot that, maybe Bonner. As everyone had gathered in the elevator Leon couldn't help but join them too. He noticed Louise had poor Iskra cornered, he decided to leave that be since he was sure he'd make her even more of a nervous wreck. Then he took a quick glance at the other pilots. Sure got a lotta wallflowers, on top of people who are hard to approach. I guess all things considered that only leaves... He turned to Markus with a grin. "Buongiorno! Markus, right? Had a glance at your profile. Call me Leon." He folded his arms. "We're gonna be out in the thick of it, but don't worry. Your bro's got your back!" His confidence bled so much one could almost see a sparkle around his eyes.

When Elisa finally parted she gave her an honest answer, and a little bit of her own history. "Elisa..." The advice rang with her too, keep moving forward. Renais probably would've put that aside some time ago, but she really did come a ways. Even if it wasn't all victories, it was still a road she had made for herself, and there was still much she had to do. "..thank you." The pinkette gave a wide smile to Elisa as she walked off, she felt a large weight lifted from her. "I'll do my best, I will!" With that said she turned back to go check on the rest of the Tigers.
