  1. Well I've done it. I have finished the skills and abilities list for every character including redoing all the ones I had already done before deciding that I really wanted icons. I'm gonna take a little break from the wiki now and actually play the game since I still haven't finished my first playthrough. If anyone wants to make an Innate skill page here is the table Have fun and I'll be back soon
  2. I'm dumb. I saw that tab a bunch of times when I was first looking through it but had no idea what it was. Now I know and will add them to the characters.
  3. Just wanted to confirm this and flag it as important. When Shez mastered Dark Knight I got a new tutorial for Innate Abilities. "When a unit masters a class, they will sometimes gain an innate ability that isn't listed among the acquirable abilities. The classes that will grant innate abilities when mastered differ from unit to unit." Shez learned Range Master which was one of the skills sitting amongst character skills despite nobody seemingly being able to learn them. I gathered up the rest of them and they are: Now there are some really substantial skills in that list that could be big deals for some characters (and now that i know they exist they're the #1 thing I want on the wiki). Also keep in mind if we have to find these the old fashion way by playing the game, that once you have the skill there doesn't appear to be a way to see where it came from so keep note.
  4. Super happy to have icons, my character pages going forward will have them 🙂 Just a quick thing in testing out uploads. I happened to by chance click on the nullify cavalry and noticed that it, flying and armor were all one number off of what they should be. 174,175 & 176 instead of 175,176 & 177 respectively. Not a big deal and I've changed them as well as uploaded their icons but as I'm not familiar with vlookup and a lot of the other things you mentioned i thought it might be a warning of other errors and I should tell you just in case. Edit: upon further inspection it's wrong on the private sheet as well so maybe it's just that. Also if I could get the round combat arts icons and character sprites for each class I would add all those as well.
  5. Can we do tables wider than 800px? I know that was an issue in the last wiki but that 5 years ago.
  6. By all means go for it. What I made was just kind of based around the question of how many unique learn sets are there per class. But speaking of icons if anyone has a dump of all the icons/sprites I'd really appreciate access to them. I'd like to build my pages out with the stars and ability icons and such, I think it'd look so much better with them and be worth the extra work.
  7. Took a break from doing characters to have a stab at the classes, I've made a start on Bow Knight. Not quite sure what exactly goes in those sections but give it a look and I'm sure we'll be able to figure it out.
  8. Already doing that yes. I've removed the sort options as well since it didn't serve any purpose without my silly tier column. I've updated Dimitri if you want to see how it looks.
  9. Thank you so much for that, though I came back to my computer to admit I feel like a bit of a goose. I just realised that at the Change Class screen in the convoy you can press Y to show the abilities a character will learn from that class and press X to get the description for those abilities. Now I say a bit of a goose since I wouldn't be able to check the rallies or Goddess's Vessel yet that way but I was still a bit silly. Still, thought it was worth sharing because it's quite helpful to have that information in-game.
  10. Well it's super easy to confirm, I've used female Shez as the guinea pig and removed all the extra stuff from her sheet. It definitely looks a lot cleaner but let me know. I have all the characters up to chapter 8 of Blue Lions done (yes I've only done the ones that currently matter to me, so sue me) I'm just waiting on hopefully getting the last few values I'm missing since it's so easy to change them while it's still a spreadsheet. Those are; All the Rally skills (including deluxe rally that may be different), Transmute, Prepared to Die, Impossible Feat, Counterbreak and Goddess's Vessel. Also thanks for the update on the growth rate situation 🙂
  11. I can say for sure I hate the way it looks but I found looking at the skills mid playthough that seeing very quickly "oh, that's a great skill but it's a 4 and I don't have master classes yet, what can I get that's a lower tier" is helpful. I've put alot of hours into Fire Emblem over the last 10 years and I struggle to quickly remember what tier each class belongs to quickly, so I'm sure the average person would struggle more if they know the answer at all. The only reason I used numbers is because they sort easily and I tend to lean function over form when pressed. All that said I don't even know if the average person would care about that amount of control and information when they come to the page. And in collecting the information needed for the wiki I've made myself a spreadsheet that will give me all the granular control I could wish for. So I'd just leave it to @VincentASM, whatever you think looks best for the wiki is what I'll do. No hurt feelings either way, no matter how much or little of what I've made ends up on the wiki I'm just happy to help.
  12. My thought process on categories is to attempt to at a glance show when a character has a large amount of complementary abilities to support a certain play style Eg. Warrior/Awakening Spam, Self Harm & healing those kind of combos. I would certainly be open to condensing some however, like Absorb for instance since characters tend to only get one (though I think its more helpful on the ability page). The logic on separate arts and magic is almost just to remind people that there are quite a few Master classes that pick up magic as on option in addition to their chosen weapons combat arts. I'm not at all bullish on it though.
  13. @VincentASM Thanks for the starter numbers. I've gone ahead and implemented my first attempt at a skills section on Shez's page. I'm not super happy with how it looks particularly with the Tier and Star columns but those provide good function so I've included them. There are still a few things I'd like but my wiki editing knowledge is limited so I thought I'd ask for help. I'd like to be able to sort the table alphabetically by clicking on the column headers so that you can sort them by catergory or class tier for instance. Specically for Shez I'd also like the ability to have two versions of the page for Male/Female Shez since genderlocked classes make it impossible to access some skills/abilities. I thought there could be a toggle at the top like on the spells pages for Three Houses. Otherwise if anyone has any feedback it would be greatly appreciated. I'll mention though in making this i discovered there is a combat art and an ability called "Wild Abandon". The Axe combat art is obtained from fortress knight while the ability comes from Brigand. No idea why they would do that but I've confirmed them both in-game so be aware if you happen to be working in those areas.
  14. Hey, I too am returning after having done some things for the last Warriors Wiki. I'd like to work on the skills available for each character since I really enjoy build crafting. The first thing I've done is taken the list of skills gained through mastering classes from the datamine and grouped them in to categories to try to improve readability (so many of the names are familiar but they have completely different effects for a Musou). I'd appreciate any feedback on the names of the categories or if you believe any skills are misplaced or missing. Also if you have the actual [0:NUMBER] that would be helpful, I could guess most probably but I'd rather do it properly. Finally if anyone has completed there first playthough, is there any other way to obtain skills? I know that certain magic and combat arts can be passed between Vanguard and Adjutant but I'm curious if there is something hiding in the endgame. Thanks and I look forward to working with you. :)
  15. Just to confirm they're random but always the same puzzle
