I feel like we're still going to get an english release, but I do think it's gonna pull kinda close, I imagine the english localization will be out at the end of the Wii U's 'ife'span. -

I would imagine anyone with an actual sibling incest fetish would be very disappointed lol. Especially with things like Sakura pulling out a letter saying they're not related in the S support. (Come on new FE team, don't chicken out on the incest, you were so close.)

Meh, I'm also not too big on the 2d whatevers they used for touching and confessions. Some of them hit the uncanny valley pretty bad for me too. (Elise and Sakura really freak me out TBH, I tihnk their eyes might be too low or something.) And yeah, if confessions continue to be a thing, I liked the stills a lot more. -

Um. hm. Henry had a few references. ("this one time at mage camp" was it?) Frederick also says "my body is ready" IIRC. I expect to see maybe a couple in Fates. I think that if they fit normally they're fine, if they don't fit with the tone, then eh. -
Hmm. I'm trying to remember the last time they did a 'major' gameplay change in localization. That was... Radiant Dawn, I think? They renamed the difficulty modes, made units autopromote at 20 and removed a number of master seals and replaced them with other items due to the autopromote. (that might actually be FE9, but yeah. FE9 actually removed the hardest mode and made an easier mode lol) I don't recall any big changes in Shadow Dragon or Awakening, but I know they nerfed enemies and bosses in FE8.

I don't think everyone needs to be killed off or anything, a timeskip would be fine. Though the battle of Belhalla was certainly interesting and unexpected. I wonder if the new FE team at IS was warming up to [spoiler=Fates Spoilers]killing off player characters with Fates? They killed Izana and Crimson on the 3rd route, and also Kaze on birthright, but he can be saved. [spoiler=bigger fates spoilers, conquest and birthright route ending spoilers]Ryoma and Takumi die in Conquest and Xander and Elise on Birthright, but they're never player units on those routes... -

Perhaps the bag comes in the box? I don't think the bag was a preorder bonus in the first place. Actually, now that I think about it, the bag is a replacement for the pimpin' Marth TCG card that came with the Japanese version. (Gosh, I really love that card, it's so pretty)

Sorry if this is the wrong place to bring this up, but I wasn't sure where to ask. Are those gone? I don't see them linked on the FE8 or 7 pages. (and going to old.serenesforest.net/FE# brings me to the site map page.) Since I'm mentioning it, the websites for Shadow Dragon and Radiant Dawn redirect to the Awakening website and also seem to be gone.

What kind of Ike sprite? A portrait? Map sprite? Battles sprite? The whole shebang? I know there are portraits floating around, but you need to ask the artists.

The exclamation marks above their map sprites mean you can talk to them to get their barracks bonus(they pick up an item, gain some support points with a random unit, it's their birthday, etc.), (and probably indicates new people from streetpass, but I've never streetpassed anyone with my JP version for them to appear) it has nothing to do with skinship. You can skinship with anyone once per chapter anyway, there's no need to indicate that, otherwise everyone would have an exclamation mark.
