    As long as your computer can run Dolphin, you can just emulate it. It's fun although it's definitely one of the easiest in the series... Good luck!!

    Hero? No. Villain? ABSOLUTELY. Villains get the best music, the best outfits, and they have the best powers so the heroes look like underdogs AND they get to be megalomaniacs which is radical. Even when they finally lose, they get to die in noble combat with the only person who could ever match their strength. That's what I want to be.

    You're not the only one, I don't really like it either. On the other hand, I feel like the turnwheel was IS's way of adjusting for the bad map design, so hopefully it won't come back. As far its story relevance, it's weird, but I guess it doesn't bother me since stuff like that isn't totally uncommon in games. I think sometimes you just accept story-gameplay segregation for the sake of gameplay...

    I was going to say the same thing But yeah, I'd definitely play it. I'm just not sure how well it would be able to preserve the Fire Emblem feel... But I'd give it a shot at least. I've only played the first Advance Wars, but I enjoyed it and I think a Fire Emblem twist would be a lot of fun.

    Gotta go with flight. Useful? Not always, but what a great way to live life... Telekinesis would also be radical. Even if it's limited to small things, imagine never having to get off the couch to grab a snack. :D

    First custom melee is basically done:

    The middle still needs a little work, but it's getting there. Writing the script has come to a pause as some real world work piles up, but hopefully things will pick back up again in June? For now, still trying to balance chapters and build maps. Also, I know the challenges of doing escape chapters in the GBA series are well documented elsewhere, but... just saying... it's pretty gross.

    Prologue and Chapter 1 are mostly done minus a few bugs. Both are super unbalanced right now, but they at least work for the most part. Here are some screen caps!

    3 THINGS TODAY

    FIRST: Tentative Character/Class List. We do have more information about these guys, but I'll wait to post it until it's a bit more set in stone...

    I think it's radical. Either it's actually awesome or it's stupid enough to be mocked or both, so it's just an all around plus. Not saying it should happen in all anime (Fullmetal Alchemist is much better without it) but in the places where it happens it's usually great for one reason or another.

    Marth with Nyna. It follows Nyna's campaign to reclaim her kingdom and reunite the Archanean continent to finally defeat the forces of Medeus and Gharnef. She gets to wield Falchion too because she does. Ike with Tauroneo. Tauroneo leaves Daein and becomes a mercenary instead of Greil. He builds the Tauroneo mercenaries, becomes the escort of princess Elincia, watches the Black Knight kill his son, and unites beorc and laguz to defeat Ashnard.

    Because it's a consistently good series, and because I like the medieval setting and turn-based tactics.

    I tried to watch Hetalia MANY years ago and didn't get into it, but I'd be willing to give it another shot since it's been so long! Movies are certainly fine. I like Redline a lot, the animation is crazy actually maybe I'll just re-watch that. I'll check out Sword of the Stranger too. I like samurai movies from what I've seen, and it sounds like the fights are great. I really love Baccano, but yeah, that requires a bit of focus. You kind of need to see the years... Anyway thanks everyone for the suggestions. I probably have enough to finish my project now! I'll probably post it somewhere on SF when it's done, as it's Fire Emblem related.

    I meant it broadly. Basically, I just don't want something heavy (i.e. Fullmetal Alchemist, Stein's Gate, ect). I probably should just merge "fun" with the bullet after it. Nothing that requires a ton of visual attention basically. As far as just what I like, I am pretty open-minded with anime. For this I was thinking fun along the lines of Tsuritama or The Devil is a Part-Timer. Not necessarily high quality, but a good ride. Something like One-Punch Man would also be great. I get that, and I normally have no problem with subs. It's just since I'm cross-stitching at the same time, I have to mostly listen and I don't have enough time to catch all the subtitles.
